SCENE 1 — THE LIVING ROOM — NIGHT

The house is beautifully decorated. Soft lights glow across the room while several family members stand together, watching Anthony.

Anthony takes a deep breath and looks toward the woman standing in front of him.

Shayla stands a short distance away, completely unaware of what is about to happen.

Anthony slowly lowers himself to one knee.

The room suddenly becomes silent.

Everyone looks at the woman. After a moment, she smiles and accepts his proposal.

Applause fills the room.

But Shayla doesn’t clap.

She simply stands there, watching Anthony with tears slowly gathering in her eyes.

Shayla forces a small smile, turns around, and quietly walks away.

SCENE 2 — THE HALLWAY — NIGHT

Shayla walks through the hallway alone. The sound of celebration continues behind her.

Every laugh and every congratulation seems to make her pain worse.

She stops near the staircase and wipes away her tears.

She lowers her head and continues toward her room.

SCENE 3 — SHAYLA’S BEDROOM — NIGHT

Shayla closes the door behind her. The moment she is alone, she can no longer hide her emotions.

She sits on the edge of her bed and begins crying.

Memories of Anthony come rushing back — their happier days, their conversations, and the future she once imagined.

Overwhelmed by her emotions, Shayla makes a dangerous decision to hurt herself.

The scene remains non-graphic as the camera moves away from the room.

SCENE 4 — THE BEDROOM — LATER

The house has become quiet.

Angelina walks down the hallway and stops outside Shayla’s bedroom.

There is no response.

Angelina opens the door and immediately becomes alarmed when she finds Shayla unconscious.

Angelina rushes toward her and carefully supports her head while crying.

Angelina immediately reaches for her phone and calls emergency services.

SCENE 5 — THE EMERGENCY CALL — NIGHT

Angelina gives the location and desperately asks them to hurry.

She returns to Shayla, holding her hand while trying to remain strong.

SCENE 6 — ANTHONY ARRIVES — NIGHT

Footsteps echo through the hallway.

Anthony appears at the doorway. He freezes when he sees Angelina crying beside Shayla.

Anthony approaches the bed. His face turns pale when he realizes how serious the situation is.

SCENE 7 — POLICE ARRIVE — NIGHT

Police officers arrive at the house and begin asking questions about what happened.

Anthony remains near the doorway, visibly shaken.

Anthony looks toward Shayla.

Anthony slowly nods.

SCENE 8 — OUTSIDE THE HOUSE — NIGHT

The ambulance arrives.

Paramedics carefully take Shayla for emergency medical treatment while Angelina follows them, still crying.

Anthony is escorted outside by the police.

He looks back toward the house, his expression filled with regret.

The night that began with a proposal has completely changed.

SCENE 9 — THE AFTERMATH

The ambulance doors close.

Angelina stands nearby, praying for Shayla.

Anthony sits in the police vehicle, staring through the window.

His proposal, which was supposed to be a celebration, has become the beginning of a painful investigation.

The ambulance drives away into the night.
