Part Three — Both Were Nervous, But Someone Else Was Behind It

1. The Argument Nobody Wanted to Escalate

The argument inside the college cafeteria was over, but the silence afterward felt different.

Brooke was still standing between Cameron and Isaiah. Both young men looked angry, but neither seemed eager to take things any further.

Brooke shouted, “What are you two trying to prove?!”

Cameron insisted that he did not want to fight, while Isaiah continued challenging him.

Brooke stepped between them and demanded that both of them stop.

Eventually, Isaiah warned Cameron that he did not know the whole story. He then walked away, promising Brooke that she would find out everything the next day.

2. The Student With Another Video

After Isaiah left, Brooke told Cameron that she believed he was hiding something.

Suddenly, another student approached them and claimed that he knew something about the video they had been discussing.

He revealed that he had another clip and was about to explain who appeared in it.

But before he could say anything, his phone rang.

His expression immediately changed.

“I have to go.”

He quickly disappeared, leaving Brooke and Cameron with even more questions.

3. The Mysterious Message

Later that night, Brooke received another mysterious message.

“Come to the same field tomorrow—the place where everyone talks about fighting but nothing ever happens.”

Brooke showed Cameron the message.

They both knew the field. It was the same place where previous confrontations had ended with nothing more than shouting and laughter.

But this time, something felt different.

Cameron made it clear that Brooke would not go there alone.

4. Isaiah Returns With Evidence

The next evening, Brooke and Cameron arrived at the field.

The area was strangely quiet. There was no crowd, no laughter and no shouting.

Then Isaiah appeared.

He stood several feet away with his phone in his hand.

When Brooke demanded to know why he had brought them there, Isaiah showed her a video.

He insisted that the video contained the truth he had been trying to reveal.

Brooke watched the screen, and within seconds, her expression completely changed.

5. The Shocking Discovery

Brooke stared at Isaiah.

“Where did you get this?” she asked.

Isaiah refused to explain everything.

Cameron looked at Brooke and asked what was wrong.

Brooke slowly lowered the phone.

Then she looked directly at Cameron.

“Cam… you’re in this video too.”

Cameron was stunned.

Isaiah remained completely silent.

For the first time, it became clear that the conflict was not simply between Cameron and Isaiah.

Someone—or something—much bigger was behind the mystery.

And the question Brooke was about to ask could change everything between the three of them.
