SCENE 1 — EVELYN’S PARTY — NIGHT
The house is alive with music, laughter, and conversation. Guests move through the beautifully decorated rooms, enjoying the celebration and talking with one another.
Colorful lights reflect across the walls while music fills every corner of the house. The atmosphere is exciting, and everyone seems to be having a good time.
Outside, a car slowly pulls up.
DAVE steps out and looks toward Evelyn’s house.
After taking a deep breath, Dave walks toward the entrance. As soon as he enters, several guests greet him warmly.
Dave smiles and walks farther into the party.
Across the room stands MARIA, Evelyn’s cousin.
Maria is talking with another guest when she suddenly notices Dave entering the room.
Her eyes immediately follow him.

SCENE 3 — MARIA TAKES DAVE AWAY FROM THE PARTY
As the party becomes louder and more crowded, Maria looks around the room.
Maria gestures toward the hallway.
Dave hesitates for a moment but eventually follows her.
They walk away from the crowded party and enter a quiet hallway.
Maria opens the door to a private room.
The loud music becomes distant as the door closes.

She quickly places her drink down and walks toward the hallway.
The music fades behind her as she approaches the private rooms.
SCENE 6 — EVELYN OPENS THE DOOR
Inside the room, Dave and Maria are unaware that Evelyn is approaching.
Then suddenly—
🚪 THE DOOR OPENS! 🚪
Dave immediately turns around.
Maria freezes.
Standing in the doorway is Evelyn.
For several seconds, nobody speaks.
Evelyn looks at Dave and then slowly turns toward Maria.
Her face fills with anger and disbelief.
Dave tries to explain.
The room becomes tense.
SCENE 7 — EVELYN AND MARIA FACE EACH OTHER
Evelyn looks directly at her cousin.
Evelyn’s anger grows.
Maria looks directly into Evelyn’s eyes.
The question creates complete silence.
Dave looks between the two women.
Suddenly, he realizes that Evelyn’s anger may be about much more than Maria’s actions.
