“Why aren’t you answering me, Dave?”

She is going to Los Angeles.

“I’m coming to LA.”

The sun rises over Los Angeles.

Amber finally arrives at the hotel.

She steps into the lobby, exhausted from the journey.

Still nothing from Dave.

She walks toward the elevator.

Her heart beats faster with every passing second.

She knocks.

“Dave?”

She tries the door and it opens.

The room is empty.

But Dave’s belongings are still there.

She walks toward it with trembling hands.
