Brooke Has Had Enough

Brooke had been holding her feelings inside for far too long. Every day, she watched the same things happen inside the house. Larry, her father, seemed to spend most of his time at home without doing anything to change the situation. Brooke had reached a point where she could no longer stay quiet.

She had made up her mind that she did not want to get a job just because Larry expected her to. Instead, she believed Larry needed to take responsibility for his own life.

“Bethany doesn’t even respect you,” Brooke basically told him. “She can embarrass you whenever she wants, and you’re still here doing nothing.”

Brooke then made it clear that she did not want to remain in that house anymore. She felt that Larry’s choices were affecting her life and reputation as well. She believed that as her father, Larry should be making sure that she had everything she needed instead of constantly depending on other people.
