Bethany’s Unexpected Comment

Bethany, Purnell, and Larry were all getting ready to go somewhere together. The three of them had been moving around the house, making sure they had everything they needed before leaving. The atmosphere was relaxed, and everyone seemed to be in a good mood.

Purnell walked toward the car, preparing to take his place behind the steering wheel. Bethany watched him for a moment and suddenly decided to make a joke at his expense.

Bethany said it with confidence, expecting everyone to laugh. Larry stood nearby and watched the situation unfold. For a moment, Purnell simply looked at Bethany. He gave her a small smile and acted as though her words did not bother him at all.

But Bethany had no idea that Purnell was already thinking about how he could get his revenge.

Purnell’s Silent Plan

Purnell continued toward the vehicle without arguing. He did not raise his voice, and he did not insult Bethany back. Instead, he calmly opened the driver’s door and climbed into the driver’s seat.

Larry got into the car as well and took his seat beside him. Bethany followed behind them, completely unaware that Purnell was planning to turn her own joke against her.

Everything seemed normal until Bethany reached the vehicle.

She grabbed the door handle and prepared to climb inside. She expected Purnell to wait for her, just like any normal person would.

But Purnell had other plans.

The Car Starts Moving

Just as Bethany opened the door and was about to get inside, Purnell suddenly pressed the accelerator.

The vehicle slowly started moving forward.

Bethany’s eyes widened in shock.

She immediately realized what Purnell was doing. He was deliberately trying to leave her behind.

Bethany shouted as she started running after the vehicle. Instead of stopping, Purnell looked amused. He glanced toward Larry, who was watching the entire situation unfold.

Larry could barely keep a straight face.

Bethany continued running behind the car, becoming more frustrated with every step. She could hear Purnell laughing as he drove slowly enough to keep teasing her.

Purnell Gets His Revenge

Purnell leaned toward the window and looked back at Bethany.

Bethany could not believe what she was hearing. Only moments earlier, she had been making fun of Purnell. Now he was using her own words against her.

Purnell continued to laugh as Bethany chased after the car.

Larry finally started laughing. He knew that Bethany had started the situation by making the first comment about Purnell’s weight, but he never expected Purnell to take his revenge in such a dramatic way.

Bethany, however, was not laughing at all.

The Miami and Credit Card Joke

As Bethany continued chasing the vehicle, Purnell decided that his revenge was not finished yet.

He brought up her trip to Miami and began teasing her about the money she had spent.

Bethany became even more angry.

Purnell continued teasing her about the credit card expenses and reminded her that she had spent a lot of money.

Larry could no longer control his laughter. The entire situation had become completely ridiculous. Bethany was shouting, Purnell was laughing, and Larry was sitting in the car watching the drama like it was the funniest show he had ever seen.

Bethany finally realized that Purnell had been waiting for the perfect opportunity to get even with her.
