Larry Realizes Something Is Wrong

Larry had been trying to remain calm all morning, but the moment he looked outside and realized his car was gone, his patience completely disappeared. He had already been frustrated with Brooke for weeks. She still did not have a job, yet she somehow always managed to find somewhere important to go.

Larry stood near the window and stared at the empty space where his car had been parked. His face slowly changed as he realized exactly what had happened.

The Car Returns

Hours later, the sound of the car pulling into the driveway finally broke the silence. Larry immediately stood up. He had been waiting for this moment, and Brooke had absolutely no idea how angry he was.

Brooke walked into the house casually, expecting everything to be normal. But the moment she saw Larry standing there with his arms crossed and a serious expression on his face, she knew something was wrong.

Brooke Tries to Explain

Brooke immediately stopped and looked at Larry with surprise. She had not expected him to be waiting for her. Trying to remain calm, she answered softly.

Larry stared at her without saying anything for several seconds. Brooke could tell from his expression that her explanation was not going to be enough.

Larry Demands the Keys

Larry suddenly held out his hand toward Brooke.

Brooke looked down at the car keys in her hand. Her expression immediately changed. She could not believe that Larry was seriously asking for them back.

For a brief moment, Brooke held tightly onto the keys. Larry stepped closer and reached toward her hand. Brooke pulled back slightly, still holding onto them.

The two stood there in a tense moment, each holding onto the keys from opposite sides. Brooke did not want to give them up, while Larry had clearly reached the end of his patience.

A Tense Tug Over the Keys

“Brooke, let go of the keys,” Larry said angrily.

Brooke shook her head and looked at him with disbelief. Tears began forming in her eyes as she realized her father was serious.

Larry finally pulled the keys from her hand and held them firmly. Brooke stepped back, shocked and upset. She looked at him as if she could not believe what had just happened.

Brooke’s Unbelievable Expression

The moment Larry said those words, Brooke’s face completely changed. She became silent and stared at him with a mixture of shock, anger, and disbelief.

Her expression was so dramatic that Larry could immediately tell she was not happy about losing access to the car. Brooke looked as if she wanted to argue, but she could not find the right words.

Larry looked directly at Brooke and saw the expression on her face. Instead of feeling guilty, he became even more determined.
