Amber Confronts Dave After Discovering Maria Is His Ex – Wayne Gets Dragged Into the Drama!

Amber never expected a simple gathering to turn into such an uncomfortable and emotional confrontation. Everything seemed perfectly normal until she discovered something shocking about Maria. What initially appeared to be an ordinary meeting suddenly became a serious relationship issue when Amber learned that Maria was actually Dave’s ex-girlfriend.

“Amber, listen to me. I didn’t bring her here. I honestly don’t know how she ended up here. You have to understand that I wasn’t expecting to see her either.”

But Amber wasn’t ready to accept his explanation.

“That’s not the point, Dave! The point is that she’s your ex. You know exactly how uncomfortable this makes me feel. If you had nothing to hide, why didn’t you tell me about her before?”

Dave tried to explain that his relationship with Maria was part of his past and that there was nothing romantic between them anymore.

“Maria and I used to be together, but that relationship ended a long time ago. There is absolutely nothing going on between us. I’m not interested in going back to that chapter of my life.”

Amber Takes Her Anger Straight to Wayne

However, Amber felt that Dave was missing the bigger issue. For her, it wasn’t simply about whether Dave still had feelings for Maria. It was about respect, honesty, and why she had to discover the truth in such an unexpected way.

Before Dave could continue explaining himself, Amber decided she needed answers from someone else. She turned her attention toward Wayne.

Amber approached Wayne with a serious expression and immediately confronted him about Maria’s presence.

“Wayne, why do you always do this? Every single time, there’s another surprise, another scheme, and another situation that creates unnecessary drama. Why did you invite Dave’s ex here? What exactly were you thinking?”

Wayne appeared caught off guard by Amber’s direct questions. He tried to respond calmly, but Amber wasn’t interested in hearing another vague explanation.

“Do you understand what you’ve created? Dave is standing here with his ex, and now I’m the one who has to deal with all these uncomfortable questions. Why can’t you let people enjoy themselves without introducing another complicated situation?”

Wayne attempted to defend himself.

“Amber, you’re making this bigger than it needs to be. I didn’t bring Maria here to create problems between you and Dave. Sometimes people show up, and not everything is part of some plan.”

Amber shook her head.

“That’s exactly what you always say! Every time something happens, you act like nobody could have predicted it. But somehow, there’s always another surprise waiting for everybody.”

Wayne realized that Amber was genuinely upset. He could see that this wasn’t just another playful argument or passing disagreement. She felt embarrassed, disrespected, and disappointed by the situation.

Dave Tries Everything to Calm Amber Down

Meanwhile, Dave knew that allowing Amber to walk away without resolving the misunderstanding would only make things worse. He followed her and tried once again to get her attention.

“Amber, please, can we talk for a minute? I don’t want you thinking that I’ve been hiding something from you. I understand why you’re upset, but you need to believe me when I say that Maria and I are completely finished.”

Amber turned toward him.

“Then why am I finding all this out now? Why didn’t you tell me she was your ex before she showed up? You should have given me the opportunity to understand the situation instead of letting me discover everything in front of everybody.”

Dave admitted that he could have handled the situation better.

“You’re right. I should have told you about my history with Maria. I never wanted you to feel uncomfortable or question where you stand with me. But I genuinely didn’t know she would be here.”

He continued, trying to make his intentions clear.

“Yes, Maria is my ex. I’m not going to deny that. We had a relationship in the past, but that’s exactly where it belongs—in the past. There is no relationship between us now, and I have no intention of starting one again.”

“You’re the Person I Want to Be With”

Amber listened, but her expression remained serious. Dave then looked directly at her and said something he hoped would finally reassure her.

“Amber, you need to understand something. My past is my past, but my present is with you. I don’t want Maria, and I’m not looking for another relationship. You’re the person I want to build something with. Whatever I have now, whatever matters to me, it’s you.”

Amber responded that words alone weren’t enough to rebuild her confidence.

“Words are easy, Dave. What matters is how you make me feel through your actions. I don’t want to keep finding myself in situations where I have to question whether someone is being honest with me.”

Dave nodded and acknowledged her feelings.

“I understand. I’m not asking you to ignore what happened. I’m asking you to give me the chance to show you that there’s nothing between Maria and me. I can’t change my past, but I can be honest about my future.”

He also made it clear that he didn’t want Wayne’s involvement or anyone else’s decisions to damage what he and Amber were trying to build.
