BROOKE COLLAPSES — LARRY RUSHES HER TO THE HOSPITAL

SCENE 1 — BROOKE’S BEDROOM — EVENING

The room is quiet.

Brooke sits alone on the edge of her bed, staring blankly at her phone. Her eyes are tired, and her face shows how emotionally overwhelmed she has become.

Isaiah’s betrayal keeps replaying in her mind.

She looks at the untouched food sitting nearby.

She has barely eaten all day.

A glass of water sits beside it, almost untouched.

Brooke slowly picks up her phone and looks at Isaiah’s name.

She hesitates.

Her hands tremble slightly.

BROOKE

“Why would you do this to me, Isaiah?”

Her voice is quiet.

She wipes away a tear and places the phone down.

Brooke takes a deep breath, trying to calm herself.

But the emotional pressure has become too much.

She stands up slowly.

For a moment, she appears dizzy.

BROOKE

“I just… need to sit down.”

She takes one step.

Then another.

Suddenly, Brooke loses her balance and collapses onto the floor.

The room becomes completely silent.

Brooke remains unconscious.

SCENE 2 — BROOKE’S BEDROOM — MOMENTS LATER

Larry walks down the hallway.

He knocks gently on Brooke’s door.

LARRY

“Brooke?”

There is no answer.

Larry opens the door and steps inside.

LARRY

“Brooke, you okay?”

He looks around the room.

Then he sees Brooke lying on the floor.

Larry’s expression immediately changes.

He rushes toward her.

LARRY

“Brooke!”

Larry kneels beside her and carefully tries to wake her.

LARRY

“Brooke, wake up. Come on, sweetheart. Open your eyes.”

Brooke doesn’t respond.

Larry gently touches her and realizes that she is unconscious.

His breathing becomes faster.

LARRY

“Oh my God…”

He quickly stands up and rushes toward the hallway.

LARRY

“BETHANY!”

“Bethany! Come here! Hurry!”

His voice echoes through the house.

Bethany quickly runs toward the room.

BETHANY

“Larry, what happened?”

Larry points toward Brooke.

LARRY

“It’s Brooke! She’s unconscious!”

Bethany freezes when she sees Brooke.

BETHANY

“Oh my God!”

Larry immediately reaches for his phone.

LARRY

“I’m calling for help. We need to get her to the hospital now.”

Bethany stays beside Brooke while Larry prepares to take her to the hospital.

SCENE 3 — HOSPITAL — EMERGENCY ENTRANCE — NIGHT

The hospital doors open as Larry arrives with Brooke.

The medical staff immediately notices that Brooke needs urgent attention.

Larry looks extremely worried.

LARRY

“Please help my daughter!”

A medical team quickly approaches.

DOCTOR

“What happened?”

LARRY

“She suddenly collapsed. I found her unconscious in her room. She hasn’t been herself lately.”

DOCTOR

“How long has she been unconscious?”

LARRY

“I don’t know. I found her like this a few minutes ago.”

The medical team carefully takes Brooke for examination.

Larry follows them until a nurse stops him.

NURSE

“Sir, please wait here. The doctor needs to examine her.”

Larry reluctantly steps back.

LARRY

“Please take care of my daughter.”

NURSE

“We will.”

The doors close behind the medical team.

Larry stands in the hallway, staring at the doors.

Bethany arrives beside him.

BETHANY

“Is she going to be okay?”

Larry looks at her.

His voice is filled with fear.

LARRY

“I don’t know.”

“I just found her unconscious.”

Bethany becomes emotional.

BETHANY

“She’s been under so much stress because of everything that happened with Isaiah.”

Larry lowers his head.

LARRY

“I know. I should have realized how badly she was struggling.”

BETHANY

“This isn’t your fault. Right now, we just need the doctors to help her.”

Larry nods silently.

SCENE 4 — HOSPITAL — EXAMINATION AREA — NIGHT

Inside the emergency area, the doctor carefully examines Brooke.

The medical team checks her condition and monitors her closely.

The doctor looks concerned.

DOCTOR

“Let’s continue monitoring her. We need to determine why she lost consciousness.”

A nurse checks the medical equipment.

The doctor looks toward Brooke.

DOCTOR

“She still hasn’t regained consciousness.”

The medical team continues working quickly.

Outside, Larry waits anxiously.

Every second feels longer than the last.

SCENE 5 — HOSPITAL HALLWAY — LATER

The emergency room doors finally open.

The doctor walks toward Larry.

Larry immediately stands.

LARRY

“Doctor!”

“What happened to my daughter?”

The doctor remains calm and serious.

DOCTOR

“She is still unconscious.”

Larry’s face falls.

LARRY

“When will she wake up?”

The doctor pauses before answering.

DOCTOR

“I can’t say yet.”

Larry looks frightened.

LARRY

“But she’s going to wake up, right?”

DOCTOR

“We’re doing everything we can. Right now, we need to move her into the emergency department for closer monitoring and urgent care.”

Larry looks toward the emergency area.

LARRY

“Why? Is something seriously wrong?”

DOCTOR

“We need more information before we can tell you exactly what is happening. Her condition requires immediate medical attention, so we’re taking every necessary step.”

Larry nods, trying to remain calm.

LARRY

“Please… do whatever you can.”

DOCTOR

“We will.”

The doctor turns back toward the medical team.

SCENE 6 — EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT — CONTINUOUS

The medical team carefully moves Brooke into the emergency area.

Larry watches from the hallway.

Bethany stands beside him.

Larry’s eyes remain fixed on Brooke.

LARRY

“Come on, Brooke.”

“Please wake up.”

Bethany places a hand on Larry’s shoulder.

BETHANY

“She’s strong, Larry.”

Larry takes a deep breath.

LARRY

“She has been hurting for so long because of Isaiah. I never thought it would get this bad.”

Bethany looks toward the emergency room.

BETHANY

“She needs us now.”

Larry nods.

LARRY

“I’m not leaving.”

The emergency doors close.

Larry and Bethany remain in the hallway, waiting.

Larry looks at the clock.

Then back at the doors.

The hospital hallway is quiet except for the distant sounds of the medical team working.

Larry takes a seat but immediately stands again, unable to sit still.

LARRY

“Please let my daughter be okay.”

Bethany looks at him with concern.

Neither of them knows what the next few minutes will bring.

Inside the emergency department, the doctors continue caring for Brooke.

Outside, Larry waits for the one thing he desperately wants to hear:

That Brooke is awake.
