Scene 1 — Wayne’s Invitation
Warm sunlight fills the room. Wayne sits comfortably, holding his phone as he looks at Dave and Amber. There is a relaxed, excited energy in the air.
WAYNE: I got something special planned, and I want both of y’all to come with me.
Dave looks curious. Amber smiles, waiting to hear more.
AMBER: Where are we going?

Amber’s eyes begin to fill with tears.

Anthony smiles.

Scene 8 — Celebrating Love
Wayne walks toward the newly engaged couple. Amber is still holding Dave’s hand. The ring sparkles beneath the sunset. Wayne looks at Amber’s hand. His face breaks into a huge smile.
WAYNE: Well, look at that!
Amber laughs through her tears.
AMBER: He surprised me.
Wayne hugs Dave.
WAYNE: Congratulations, man.
Anthony and Dnisha join them. Dnisha hugs Amber tightly.
DNISHA: Congratulations! I’m so happy for you.
Amber smiles.
AMBER: Thank you.
Anthony shakes Dave’s hand.
ANTHONY: You really knew how to make this trip unforgettable.
Dave laughs.
DAVE: That was the plan.
