Anthony’s Rage: Shayla’s Desperate Plea to Stop Him
A dramatic story of anger, trust, jealousy, and heartbreak
SCENE 1 — THE LIVING ROOM — EVENING
The room is quiet, but the tension between Anthony and Shayla is impossible to ignore. Shayla stands near the center of the room, watching Anthony closely. Her expression is filled with worry and suspicion.
Anthony walks toward her, his face tense.
“Why do you want me to go alone? What’s wrong with Kai coming with us to Turkey?”
Shayla takes a deep breath, trying to control her emotions.
“Because I don’t trust Denisha, Anthony.”
Anthony stares at her, clearly frustrated.
“You keep saying that. But you still haven’t given me a real reason.”
Shayla slowly shakes her head.
“I don’t need another reason. I know what I feel, and I don’t trust her.”
Anthony folds his arms. His patience is beginning to disappear.
“So that’s it? You just decide you don’t trust someone, and suddenly I can’t make my own decisions?”
Shayla steps closer. Her voice remains controlled, but the pain in her eyes is obvious.
“This isn’t about controlling you. It’s about protecting what we have.”
Anthony’s expression hardens.
“Protecting what we have? You don’t even trust me enough to let me make a simple decision.”
Shayla looks hurt. She lowers her eyes for a moment before looking back at him.
“That’s not fair.”
A tense silence fills the room.
Anthony looks away, trying to calm himself. For a moment, the anger on his face seems to disappear. But Shayla’s words continue to bother him.
THE ARGUMENT DEEPENS
Anthony turns back toward Shayla. His voice is louder now.
“I just want to go to Turkey. I want to enjoy the trip. I don’t understand why you’re making everything so difficult.”
Shayla’s voice becomes softer.
“Because I know Denisha. And I know what could happen if you go with her.”
Anthony’s eyes narrow.
“What exactly are you accusing her of?”
Shayla hesitates.
“I’m not accusing her of anything. I’m saying I don’t trust her.”
Anthony lets out a frustrated breath. His hands tighten at his sides.
“And you expect me to cancel everything because of that?”
Shayla shakes her head.
“I expect you to understand me.”
Anthony remains silent.
For a moment, neither of them moves. The atmosphere feels heavier than before.
KAI ENTERS THE CONFLICT
Then Kai appears nearby.
Anthony notices him. His expression changes, and he walks toward Kai.
Shayla immediately realizes what he is about to do.
“Anthony… wait.”
Anthony reaches for Kai.
“What are you doing?”
“I’m taking Kai with me.”
Shayla’s eyes widen.
“No. Anthony, please.”
Anthony takes Kai’s hand and begins walking.
Shayla follows immediately, her fear growing with every step.
SHAYLA’S DESPERATE PLEA
“Please listen to me.”
Anthony doesn’t stop.
“Anthony, please don’t do this.”
His frustration has turned completely into anger.
“I’ve heard enough.”
Shayla hurries after them.
“Anthony, please! For God’s sake, stop!”
Anthony finally stops near the doorway.
Shayla catches up with him, tears beginning to fill her eyes.
“You had your chance to talk.”
“And you didn’t listen!”
Anthony looks at her, his expression still filled with anger.
“Because every time I try to do something, you find a reason to stop me.”
Shayla’s eyes fill with tears.
“That’s not true. I just don’t want you to make a decision you’ll regret later.”
Anthony looks at her in silence.
A PAINFUL MOMENT
Shayla takes one final step toward Anthony.
“Please come back.”
Anthony doesn’t answer.
He stands there for a moment with his back toward her. The silence between them feels heavier than any argument.
Then he slowly walks away with Kai.
THE AFTERMATH
Shayla remains frozen in the doorway.
She watches Anthony disappear from sight with Kai. Her face is filled with helplessness and heartbreak.
The door slowly closes.
Shayla takes a shaky breath and wipes away her tears.
“Why didn’t you listen to me?”
Outside, Anthony continues walking.
His anger is still visible on his face, but his steps slowly become heavier.
He looks at Kai.
For the first time, doubt appears in his eyes.
Shayla’s desperate voice echoes in his mind.
“Please come back.”
Anthony looks ahead without saying a word.
Back inside, Shayla sits alone.
The room that was filled with arguments only moments ago is now completely silent.
THE END… FOR NOW
Shayla knows the situation has changed everything.
And somewhere in the distance, Anthony begins to wonder whether his anger has taken him too far.
Will Anthony return? Or will this journey create an even bigger distance between them?
