Amber: I’m not here to argue with you. I only want you to listen to me.

Anthony turns away, hoping she will understand that he wants to be left alone. Amber, however, has already decided what she intends to do. She believes that getting close to him may help her discover something important.

Without warning, Amber moves forward and wraps her arms around Anthony. He is completely surprised by her behavior. His expression immediately changes as he raises his hands and tries to create distance between them.

Anthony: Amber! What are you doing? Let me go!

Amber continues holding him for a moment, pretending that she cannot bear to let him go. Anthony is uncomfortable and frustrated because she is ignoring his request.

Amber: Anthony, please. Just listen to me. You don’t have to treat me like this.

Anthony tries to move away without hurting her. He looks directly at her, making it clear that he does not welcome the unexpected hug.

Anthony: I said let go of me! I don’t want you hugging me. Whatever you want to say, you can say it without doing this.

Amber refuses to respond immediately. She continues pretending that she is acting out of affection, even though her real objective is to obtain evidence against him.

Amber: Why are you so angry with me? I’m only trying to talk to you.

Anthony takes a deep breath, attempting to control his temper. He does not understand why Amber is behaving this way when she knows that he wants to maintain his distance.

Amber: You always think the worst of me, Anthony. No matter what I do, you assume I have some hidden reason.

Amber: I wanted you to listen to me, but you have already made up your mind about me.

Amber: Fine. If you don’t want me close to you, I won’t force you to talk. But don’t think that I came here just to create a scene.

Anthony remains unconvinced.

Anthony: Then why did you come here?

Amber: I wanted to see how you would react when I tried to speak to you. Now I have my answer.

Anthony frowns, confused by her response.

Anthony: What is that supposed to mean?

Amber: It means that sometimes people reveal more through their actions than through their words.
