Lynette Slaps Larry — Bethany Warns Her to Stay Away From Her Husband!

Larry barely had time to react before Lynette’s hand struck his cheek. The sound echoed through the living room, leaving Bethany frozen in the doorway with a shopping bag hanging from her fingers.

LARRY: “Lynette! What is wrong with you?”

Lynette stood in front of him, her eyes burning with anger. She looked at Larry as if he had betrayed her, even though he had done nothing except refuse to give her what she wanted.

LYNETTE: “You think you can keep playing with my feelings? You think you can just ignore me whenever Bethany is around?”

Larry touched his cheek, struggling to understand what had just happened.

LARRY: “I told you that I don’t want any problems with you. Why are you doing this?”

Bethany dropped the shopping bag onto the floor.

BETHANY: “Lynette, what is wrong with you? Why would you slap my husband?”

Lynette turned toward Bethany, her expression changing from anger to a cold, challenging smile.

LYNETTE: “Your husband? You act like you own him. Larry is a grown man, and he can make his own decisions.”

Bethany stepped closer to Larry, placing herself between him and Lynette.

BETHANY: “I know Larry can make his own decisions. But that doesn’t give you the right to put your hands on him.”

LYNETTE: “You should be more worried about what your husband is doing when you’re not around.”

Larry shook his head.

LARRY: “Don’t bring Bethany into this. Whatever problem you have with me, you need to deal with me directly.”

LYNETTE: “Fine! Then tell her why you keep answering my calls. Tell her why you keep letting me come around.”

Bethany looked at Larry, waiting for him to respond.

LARRY: “Because I was trying to be respectful. I never wanted to embarrass her or make things worse. But I’m done with this.”

Lynette laughed bitterly.

LYNETTE: “You’re done? You don’t get to decide that after everything we’ve been through.”

Bethany’s patience finally snapped.

BETHANY: “Lynette, I want you to listen to me carefully. Stay away from Larry. Stop calling him, stop coming around him, and stop trying to interfere in our marriage.”

Lynette folded her arms.

LYNETTE: “And what are you going to do if I don’t?”

Bethany stared directly into her eyes.

BETHANY: “I will do whatever it takes to protect my marriage.”

Lynette stepped closer, refusing to back down.

LYNETTE: “You think you’re the only woman who can make Larry happy? You think you’re the only one who can give him everything he needs?”

BETHANY: “I never said that. But I am his wife, and I will not stand here while you disrespect our marriage.”

Lynette’s face twisted with anger.

LYNETTE: “You better get used to disappointment, Bethany. Because I am not going anywhere.”

Larry stepped between them.

LARRY: “Enough! Both of you need to calm down.”

Bethany turned toward him.

BETHANY: “Larry, she just slapped you. And now she’s standing here threatening our marriage. How much more are you going to let her get away with?”

Larry lowered his eyes.

LARRY: “I’m not letting her get away with anything. I just want this situation to end.”

BETHANY: “Then you need to make it clear that you don’t want her in your life.”

Lynette shook her head.

LYNETTE: “You see? This is exactly why Larry can’t be happy with you. You want to control everything he does.”

Bethany took a deep breath.

BETHANY: “No, Lynette. I want my husband to be treated with respect. And I want you to understand that you cannot keep coming into our lives and creating problems.”

Lynette looked at Larry.

LYNETTE: “Tell her the truth, Larry. Tell her you still care about me.”

Larry remained silent.

Bethany’s eyes filled with tears.

BETHANY: “Larry?”

He looked at her, his expression full of regret.

LARRY: “Bethany, I don’t want to hurt you. I never wanted any of this to happen.”

BETHANY: “Then tell her to leave.”

Larry turned toward Lynette.

LARRY: “Lynette, I need you to go. I don’t want you coming here anymore. I don’t want you calling me, and I don’t want you interfering in my marriage.”

For a moment, Lynette looked as though she might cry. Then her expression hardened.

LYNETTE: “You really want me to leave?”

LARRY: “Yes.”

Lynette grabbed her purse and walked toward the door. Before leaving, she turned back toward Bethany.

LYNETTE: “Enjoy your marriage while you can. You have no idea what you’re getting yourself into.”

Bethany refused to respond.

Lynette slammed the door behind her.

For several seconds, neither Larry nor Bethany spoke. The silence felt heavier than the argument itself.

Bethany finally turned toward her husband.

BETHANY: “Why didn’t you tell me she was coming here?”

LARRY: “I didn’t know she was going to show up.”

BETHANY: “And why did she think she had the right to slap you?”

Larry rubbed his face.

LARRY: “I don’t know. She’s been angry with me for a while, and I thought if I kept my distance, she would eventually stop.”

BETHANY: “Well, she hasn’t stopped. And I need to know that you’re serious about keeping her away.”

Larry reached for Bethany’s hand.

LARRY: “I am serious. I don’t want her coming between us.”

Bethany pulled her hand away gently.

BETHANY: “Then I need you to prove it.”

Larry nodded, but before he could respond, his phone began ringing.

Both of them looked down at the screen.

Lynette’s name appeared.

Larry immediately rejected the call.

A second later, a message appeared.

Bethany watched as Larry opened it.

The message read:

“You can tell Bethany whatever you want, but she doesn’t know everything. If you don’t want me to tell her the truth, you better call me back.”

Bethany’s face changed.

BETHANY: “What truth?”

Larry stared at the screen, his jaw tightening.

LARRY: “Bethany, I can explain.”

BETHANY: “Explain what, Larry? What is she talking about?”

Before Larry could answer, another message arrived.

This time, it contained a photograph.

Bethany leaned closer to the phone. Her heart began pounding as she saw Larry standing beside Lynette in front of a restaurant.

But it wasn’t the photograph that frightened her.

It was the date.

The picture had been taken only three days earlier.

Bethany slowly looked up at her husband.

BETHANY: “Larry, you told me you hadn’t seen her in weeks.”

Larry opened his mouth, but no words came out.

Bethany took a step backward.

BETHANY: “Please tell me there’s a reason for this.”

Larry looked at the photograph again, then at his wife.

LARRY: “There is something I need to tell you.”

Bethany’s eyes filled with tears.

BETHANY: “Then tell me now.”

Larry took a deep breath.

LARRY: “Lynette came to see me because she wanted to talk about something that happened before you and I got married.”

Bethany stared at him.

BETHANY: “What happened?”

Larry looked toward the door Lynette had just slammed.

His phone rang again.

This time, it wasn’t Lynette.

It was an unknown number.

Larry answered cautiously.

LARRY: “Hello?”

A woman’s voice came through the speaker.

WOMAN: “Larry, this is Lynette’s sister. You need to come to the hospital immediately.”

Larry’s face went pale.

LARRY: “What happened?”

The woman began crying.

WOMAN: “It’s Lynette. She was in an accident, and before she lost consciousness, she kept asking for you.”

Bethany covered her mouth.

Larry looked at his wife, then at the phone.

LARRY: “I’m on my way.”

Bethany stepped in front of him.

BETHANY: “Larry, wait. What exactly happened between you and Lynette three days ago?”

Larry hesitated.

And in that moment, Bethany realized that the accident was not the only thing her husband was hiding.

BETHANY: “Larry, if you walk out of this house without telling me the truth, I don’t know if our marriage will survive this.”

Larry stood motionless, the phone still pressed against his ear.

Then the voice on the other end spoke again.

WOMAN: “Larry, there’s one more thing. Lynette was carrying something with her. The police found it, and they said you need to see it immediately.”

Larry slowly lowered the phone.

Bethany stared at him, waiting.

BETHANY: “What did they find?”

Larry looked at his wife, his face filled with fear.

LARRY: “Bethany… I think Lynette has been trying to tell you something about me.”

And before Bethany could ask another question, Larry’s phone rang again.
