Brooke Tells Larry About Dre and Sharra, Leaving Him in Critical Condition!
Brooke stood outside Larry’s house, struggling to find the courage to knock on the door. She had spent the entire afternoon trying to convince herself that telling him the truth was the right thing to do. But now that she was standing there, she feared what the news might do to him.
Larry had already been dealing with enough stress, and Brooke knew that his health had not been good lately. Still, she could not keep hiding what she had discovered about Dre and Sharra.
She finally knocked.
Larry opened the door a few moments later. He looked surprised to see her, but his expression quickly turned into concern when he noticed how upset she was.
LARRY: “Brooke? What’s wrong? Why do you look like that?”
BROOKE: “Larry, I need to talk to you about something. And I need you to promise me that you’re going to stay calm.”
Larry frowned.
LARRY: “You’re already making me nervous. Just tell me what’s going on.”
Brooke stepped inside and closed the door behind her. She hesitated before looking directly at him.
BROOKE: “It’s about Dre and Sharra.”
Larry’s expression changed immediately.
LARRY: “What about them?”
Brooke took a deep breath.
BROOKE: “I caught them together, Larry. At Sharra’s house. And when I walked in, they were acting like they had something to hide.”
Larry stared at her, trying to understand what she was saying.
LARRY: “What do you mean you caught them together?”
BROOKE: “I mean I walked into that house and found Dre standing right there with Sharra. They were talking, and the moment they saw me, everything changed. Sharra got nervous, and Dre looked like he wanted to run out of the house.”
Larry shook his head.
LARRY: “No. That doesn’t make any sense. Why would Dre be at Sharra’s house?”
BROOKE: “That’s exactly what I wanted to know. But neither one of them wanted to give me a straight answer.”
Larry slowly sat down on the couch. He rubbed his forehead, trying to process the information.
LARRY: “Brooke, are you sure you saw what you think you saw?”
BROOKE: “I’m sure, Larry. I wouldn’t come here and tell you something like this if I wasn’t.”
Larry looked toward the window, his mind racing. He had been worried about Sharra for a long time, but he never expected to hear that she was spending time with Dre behind everyone’s back.
LARRY: “Why would she do this? She knows everything that’s already happened. She knows how much trouble Dre has caused.”
BROOKE: “I don’t know, Larry. But I think you deserve to know the truth.”
Larry suddenly stood up.
LARRY: “I need to call her.”
Brooke reached for his arm.
BROOKE: “Larry, wait. Please don’t do anything until you’ve had a chance to calm down.”
LARRY: “Calm down? You’re telling me that Dre is at Sharra’s house, and you expect me to sit here like nothing happened?”
BROOKE: “I’m not asking you to ignore it. I’m asking you to think about your health.”
Larry pulled his arm away and reached for his phone.
LARRY: “I’m tired of people keeping things from me. I’m tired of finding out the truth after everybody else already knows.”
He called Sharra, but she did not answer.
Larry tried again.
Still nothing.
His frustration grew.
LARRY: “She’s not answering.”
BROOKE: “Maybe you should give her some time.”
LARRY: “No. She needs to explain this to me right now.”
Larry’s breathing became heavier. He placed his phone on the table and pressed a hand against his chest.
Brooke immediately noticed that something was wrong.
BROOKE: “Larry? What’s happening?”
LARRY: “I don’t know. I just need a minute.”
He tried to take a deep breath, but his expression suddenly tightened with discomfort.
Brooke rushed toward him.
BROOKE: “Larry, sit down. Right now.”
He lowered himself onto the couch, looking pale and confused.
LARRY: “I don’t feel right, Brooke.”
Brooke knelt beside him.
BROOKE: “I’m calling for help.”
LARRY: “No, wait. Maybe it’s just stress.”
BROOKE: “I’m not taking any chances with you.”
She quickly called emergency services and explained that Larry was experiencing serious symptoms. While waiting for help, she stayed beside him and tried to keep him calm.
Larry closed his eyes for a moment.
LARRY: “I can’t believe Sharra would do this.”
BROOKE: “Don’t think about that right now. Just focus on getting through this.”
When the paramedics arrived, they immediately began assessing Larry. Brooke answered their questions while trying to hold back her fear.
A few minutes later, Larry was taken to the hospital.
The entire ride, Brooke remained beside him, holding his hand.
BROOKE: “You’re going to be okay, Larry. Just stay with me.”
Larry opened his eyes briefly.
LARRY: “Don’t let them get away with this.”
Brooke swallowed hard.
BROOKE: “We’ll talk about everything later. Right now, you need to get better.”
At the hospital, doctors rushed Larry into an examination room. Brooke was left standing in the hallway, watching the medical staff move quickly around him.
She called Bethany, but the call went straight to voicemail.
BROOKE: “Bethany, it’s me. Something terrible has happened. Larry is in the hospital, and I need you to call me as soon as you get this.”
Brooke ended the call and sat down, her hands trembling.
She could not stop thinking about how quickly everything had happened. One moment, she had been telling Larry about Dre and Sharra. The next, she was watching him being rushed into emergency care.
After what felt like an eternity, a doctor finally approached her.
DOCTOR: “Are you Larry’s family member?”
BROOKE: “I’m his wife. How is he?”
The doctor looked serious.
DOCTOR: “Larry’s condition is critical. We’re doing everything we can to stabilize him, but the next few hours are very important.”
Brooke covered her mouth in shock.
BROOKE: “Critical? But he was talking to me just a little while ago.”
DOCTOR: “I understand this is difficult, but we need to monitor him closely.”
Brooke struggled to hold herself together.
BROOKE: “Can I see him?”
DOCTOR: “Not yet. We’ll let you know as soon as it’s safe.”
Brooke sat back down, tears filling her eyes. She blamed herself for bringing the news to Larry, even though she knew he deserved to know the truth.
A few minutes later, her phone rang.
It was Sharra.
Brooke stared at the screen before answering.
BROOKE: “What do you want?”
SHARRA: “Brooke, I’ve been trying to reach Larry. Is he there?”
BROOKE: “No, Sharra. Larry is in the hospital.”
There was a long silence.
SHARRA: “What? Why?”
BROOKE: “Because I told him about you and Dre.”
Sharra’s voice became shaky.
SHARRA: “What did you tell him?”
BROOKE: “I told him the truth. I told him I caught you and Dre together at your house.”
SHARRA: “Brooke, you don’t understand what happened.”
BROOKE: “Then explain it to me. Because right now, Larry is fighting for his life, and I need to know why you were with Dre.”
Before Sharra could respond, Brooke heard another voice in the background.
It was Dre.
DRE: “Sharra, who are you talking to?”
Brooke froze.
BROOKE: “You’re with him right now?”
Sharra did not answer.
BROOKE: “Sharra, answer me!”
The call suddenly ended.
Brooke stared at her phone, her heart pounding.
Then the doctor came rushing toward her.
DOCTOR: “Mrs. Brooke, we need you to come with me. Larry has just regained consciousness, and he’s asking for you.”
Brooke jumped to her feet and followed him.
When she entered the room, Larry was lying in the hospital bed, looking weak and exhausted. His eyes slowly opened when he saw her.
LARRY: “Brooke…”
She rushed to his side and held his hand.
BROOKE: “I’m here, Larry. I’m right here.”
Larry struggled to speak.
LARRY: “Did you… hear from Sharra?”
Brooke hesitated.
BROOKE: “Yes. She called me.”
Larry looked at her with concern.
LARRY: “And Dre?”
Brooke’s eyes filled with tears.
BROOKE: “He was with her, Larry.”
Larry’s face suddenly changed.
LARRY: “What?”
Before Brooke could explain, the heart monitor began beeping rapidly.
The doctor rushed into the room.
DOCTOR: “Everyone, step back!”
Brooke was forced away from the bed as the medical team surrounded Larry.
BROOKE: “Larry! Please, stay with me!”
Larry looked toward her one last time before closing his eyes.
Brooke stood frozen in the corner as the doctors worked to stabilize him.
Then her phone began ringing again.
It was Sharra.
Brooke answered, her voice trembling with anger.
BROOKE: “What do you want now?”
Sharra’s voice was barely audible.
SHARRA: “Brooke, please. You need to tell Larry something for me.”
Brooke looked toward Larry’s hospital bed.
BROOKE: “What could possibly be so important right now?”
Sharra took a shaky breath.
SHARRA: “Dre wasn’t the only person I was hiding something from Larry…”
Brooke’s heart sank.
BROOKE: “What are you talking about?”
Sharra paused.
SHARRA: “There’s something else Larry needs to know. And if he finds out, I don’t know what will happen.”
Brooke stared at the phone, realizing that the truth about Dre and Sharra might only be the beginning.
