Wayne was laughing with Piarry, sitting unusually close to her, while sharing memories that seemed far too personal.
But when YaYa discovered a mysterious message on Wayne’s phone, she realized there might be something he wasn’t telling her.
Wayne and Piarry Share a Special Moment
Wayne sat comfortably on the office couch beside Piarry. They had been talking for quite some time, remembering funny moments from the past. Piarry laughed so hard that she leaned toward Wayne, playfully touching his arm as she reminded him of something embarrassing he had done years earlier.
PIARRY: “Wayne, I still cannot believe you actually thought that outfit looked good on you! I remember everybody trying not to laugh when you walked into the room.”
Wayne burst into laughter, shaking his head.
WAYNE: “You always bring up the embarrassing stories! Why can’t you remember something good about me?”
PIARRY: “Because the embarrassing stories are the best ones!”
They continued laughing, completely comfortable with each other. Wayne looked at Piarry with a warm smile, and she returned the same expression. Neither of them noticed that YaYa had just entered the office.
YaYa Walks In and Notices Their Closeness
YaYa stopped near the doorway. Her smile slowly disappeared as she watched them sitting together. She looked at Piarry’s hand resting near Wayne’s arm, then at the way Wayne was looking at her.
For several seconds, YaYa remained silent.
YAYA: “Well, it looks like somebody is having a really good time in here.”
Wayne immediately turned toward the doorway.
WAYNE: “YaYa! Hey, baby. I didn’t know you were coming by.”
Piarry straightened herself on the couch and offered YaYa a polite smile.
PIARRY: “Hey, YaYa. We were just catching up and remembering some old stories.”
YaYa forced a small smile, but her eyes remained fixed on Wayne.
YAYA: “I can see that. You two seem to have a lot to talk about.”
Wayne noticed the change in her voice.
WAYNE: “What’s wrong? You look like something is bothering you.”
YAYA: “Nothing. Why would anything be wrong? I just walked into your office and found you sitting here enjoying yourself with Piarry.”
Piarry Finds Herself in an Uncomfortable Situation
Wayne slowly stood up, trying to understand YaYa’s reaction.
WAYNE: “Baby, there’s nothing going on. Piarry stopped by, and we started talking. That’s all.”
YAYA: “Oh, she doesn’t have to leave? That’s interesting.”
Piarry immediately sensed the tension.
PIARRY: “I don’t want to interrupt anything. I was actually getting ready to leave.”
Wayne looked at her.
WAYNE: “You don’t have to leave. We were just talking.”
YaYa’s expression changed.
YAYA: “It means exactly what I said. I came here expecting to spend a little time with my man, but apparently, somebody else already has his attention.”
Piarry looked uncomfortable. She picked up her handbag and stood beside the couch.
PIARRY: “YaYa, please don’t misunderstand what you’re seeing. Wayne and I were only having a conversation.”
YAYA: “I didn’t ask you to explain anything to me, Piarry. I need to hear it from Wayne.”
Wayne sighed, realizing that the situation was becoming more serious than he expected.
WAYNE: “I’m not acting like that. I’m trying to explain.”
YaYa folded her arms.
YAYA: “Then I guess you two can discuss them another time.”
Piarry quietly left the office.
YaYa Demands Answers About Their Relationship
As soon as the door closed, Wayne turned toward YaYa.
WAYNE: “Now, can we please talk without making this bigger than it needs to be?”
YaYa shook her head.
YAYA: “You keep saying that, but you don’t understand how this looks from my side. I walked in and saw two people acting like they were the only ones in the room. You didn’t even notice me standing there.”
WAYNE: “We were laughing. That’s all.”
YAYA: “And what about the way you looked at her?”
Wayne stared at her.
WAYNE: “What way did I look at her?”
YAYA: “Like somebody who still has feelings for her.”
Wayne’s expression became serious.
WAYNE: “YaYa, don’t put words in my mouth. I care about Piarry, but that doesn’t mean I’m cheating on you.”
YAYA: “So you admit you still care about her?”
WAYNE: “Of course I care about her. We’ve known each other for a long time. But caring about somebody doesn’t mean I’m trying to be with them.”
YaYa looked away, struggling to control her emotions.
YAYA: “Sometimes I wonder whether I’m the only person taking our relationship seriously. I don’t want to spend my time competing with someone from your past.”
Wayne Tries to Reassure YaYa
Wayne moved closer, speaking more gently.
WAYNE: “You’re not competing with anybody. You’re the woman I’m with. I don’t want you questioning your place in my life.”
YAYA: “Then give me a reason to feel secure. Because right now, I’m not feeling it.”
Wayne reached for her hand, but YaYa stepped back.
YAYA: “No, Wayne. I need answers, not another sweet speech.”
He lowered his hand.
WAYNE: “What exactly do you want to know?”
YaYa took a deep breath and looked straight into his eyes.
YAYA: “I want to know if there’s something between you and Piarry that you haven’t told me. Are you two still communicating behind my back? Have you been spending time together without telling me? And most importantly, are you still emotionally connected to her?”
Wayne remained silent for a moment.
WAYNE: “We’ve talked before, yes. But I never thought I needed permission to have a conversation with somebody I already know.”
YAYA: “That’s not what I’m asking, Wayne. I’m asking whether there’s something you’re hiding.”
A Mysterious Message Changes Everything
Before Wayne could respond, his phone vibrated on the desk.
Both of them looked toward it.
A message from Piarry appeared on the screen.
PIARRY: “I hope YaYa doesn’t misunderstand what happened today. There’s something important I still need to tell you about us.”
YaYa’s eyes immediately caught the notification.
Wayne quickly picked up his phone, but YaYa had already read the message.
YAYA: “About us?”
Wayne looked uncomfortable.
YAYA: “Wayne, what does she mean by ‘about us’? What exactly is she supposed to tell you?”
WAYNE: “YaYa, let me explain.”
YAYA: “Then explain! Because five minutes ago, you told me there was nothing going on. Now she’s sending you messages about something important between the two of you!”
Wayne stared at the message, his expression becoming increasingly uncomfortable.
WAYNE: “I think there’s something you need to understand before you make any decisions about what you saw today.”
Piarry Returns With a Truth Wayne Doesn’t Want Revealed
YaYa’s eyes filled with frustration.
YAYA: “Then stop protecting everybody else’s feelings and start protecting mine. Tell me the truth, Wayne!”
Wayne looked toward the office door, then back at YaYa. He knew that whatever he said next could change their relationship forever.
WAYNE: “Piarry and I have been keeping something from you, but it’s not what you think…”
YaYa froze.
YAYA: “What do you mean you’ve been keeping something from me?”
Wayne opened his mouth to continue, but suddenly another knock came from the office door.
It was Piarry.
She stepped inside, looking directly at Wayne before turning toward YaYa.
PIARRY: “Wayne, I can’t keep waiting. If you’re going to tell her, you need to tell her everything now.”
YaYa’s heart sank as she looked between them.
YAYA: “Everything about what?”
Piarry took a deep breath.
PIARRY: “YaYa, there’s something about Wayne and me that you deserve to know. And I don’t think he’s going to tell you unless I say it myself…”
Wayne immediately interrupted her.
WAYNE: “Piarry, don’t!”
YaYa stepped forward, her eyes locked on Wayne.
YAYA: “No! Let her finish. Whatever the truth is, I want to hear every single word.”
Piarry looked at Wayne one final time before preparing to reveal the truth that could destroy YaYa’s trust in him.
