Larry Slaps Bethany

Larry Slaps Bethany After She Confronts Brooke About Money!

Bethany Questions Brooke’s Intentions

Bethany stands in the living room, watching Brooke prepare to leave. She has been thinking about Brooke’s future and the reasons behind her sudden interest in going to school. Bethany decides to speak honestly, but her words quickly create tension.

Bethany:
“Brooke, it seems like you only want to go to school because you want to make money. You don’t seem interested in anything else.”

Brooke’s expression changes immediately. She cannot believe Bethany would question her intentions. Her face fills with anger, and she turns away without wanting to continue the conversation.

Brooke:
“I don’t need you telling me what I want or what I should do!”

Brooke storms away and heads straight to her bedroom. She closes the door angrily, leaving Bethany standing alone in the living room.

Larry Witnesses the Argument

Larry has witnessed the entire situation. He is already upset with Bethany, and seeing Brooke walk away makes him even angrier. He immediately turns toward Bethany and begins confronting her.

Larry:
“Brooke is my daughter. She can do whatever she wants. You shouldn’t talk to her like that!”

Bethany looks at Larry in disbelief. She feels that he is blaming her without even trying to understand what happened. She takes a deep breath and tries to explain herself.

Bethany:
“What did I say wrong? Brooke only wants to make money. She doesn’t seem interested in anything else.”

Bethany believes she has the right to express her concerns. She wants Larry to understand that she is worried about Brooke’s future, not trying to hurt her.

Larry Loses Control

Larry refuses to listen. His anger grows as Bethany continues defending herself. Suddenly, he raises his hand and slaps her across the face.

Bethany freezes. She slowly turns her face back toward Larry, shocked by what he has just done. Her eyes fill with tears as she struggles to understand how their argument has gone this far.

Larry:
“What business do you have with Brooke, Bethany? Stay away from my daughter!”

Bethany touches her cheek, unable to believe that Larry has physically hurt her over a disagreement about Brooke. The room becomes completely silent.

Bethany Refuses to Stay Silent

Bethany looks directly at Larry. Her sadness slowly turns into disappointment. She realizes that Larry is willing to defend Brooke at any cost, even if it means humiliating and hurting his own wife.

Bethany:
“How could you do this to me, Larry? I was only trying to talk about Brooke’s future. Does that mean I have no right to speak in this house?”

Larry remains angry, but Bethany’s words make him pause for a moment. He does not apologize. Instead, he looks away, refusing to accept responsibility for his actions.

Brooke Hears Everything

Inside her bedroom, Brooke hears the loud argument. She opens the door slightly and sees Bethany standing with tears in her eyes. She realizes that Larry has taken her side once again.

Brooke:
“Dad, what’s going on? Why are you both arguing?”

Larry:
“Don’t worry about it, Brooke. Just stay in your room. Nobody has the right to question your decisions.”

Bethany looks at Brooke, hoping she might understand how painful the situation has become. But Brooke remains silent and slowly closes the bedroom door.

Bethany Makes a Difficult Decision

Bethany realizes that this is no longer just an argument about Brooke’s education or money. Larry has crossed a serious boundary by slapping her and ordering her to stay away from his daughter.

Bethany:
“I cannot keep living like this, Larry. You never listen to me, and now you’ve started putting your hands on me. I deserve respect.”

Larry says nothing. Bethany walks away, trying to control her tears. For the first time, she seriously considers whether remaining in this marriage is worth all the pain.

She enters the bedroom, sits quietly, and begins thinking about what she should do next. She knows that whatever decision she makes could change her entire future.

What Will Happen Next?

Will Bethany finally stand up to Larry and refuse to tolerate his behavior? Will she leave the house and seek support from her family? And will Brooke ever understand how much damage her conflict with Bethany has caused?
