Purnell continues explaining what happened between him and Larry.

The call ends. Bethany slowly lowers her phone. Her hands begin to shake as the reality of Purnell’s words starts sinking in.

Bethany gets up from the bed and begins pacing around the room. Her mind is racing. She remembers everything she has done for Larry, especially the surgery she went through for him.
She stops walking and looks at herself in the mirror.
Her eyes fill with tears. She picks up her phone again, considering whether to call Larry and confront him. But she stops herself.

Bethany is found unconscious. Emergency services are called, and she is rushed to the hospital. The doctors immediately begin trying to save her life.
But the situation is far more serious than anyone expected. After a long attempt to save her, the doctor finally steps out to deliver heartbreaking news.

Larry arrives at the hospital, completely shaken. He stands outside Bethany’s room, staring through the doorway.
