Anthony’s Secret Trip
The afternoon was calm when Shayla noticed Anthony preparing his luggage. His suitcase was already packed, and his phone was in his hand. Shayla immediately became curious about where he was going.
SHAYLA“Anthony, where are you going?”
Anthony looked at her for a moment before closing his suitcase. He tried to remain calm because he did not want Shayla to discover his real plan.
ANTHONY“I’m going to Turks and Caicos.”
Shayla became excited when she heard the name of the beautiful island. She immediately thought that she could travel with Anthony.
SHAYLA“Turks and Caicos? I want to come with you.”
Anthony’s expression suddenly changed. He knew that Shayla could not come because this trip was not simply a vacation. He had planned something very special for D’Nisha.
ANTHONY“No, Shayla. You can’t come with me.”
Shayla looked confused. She could not understand why Anthony was refusing to let her join him.
SHAYLA“Why not?”
ANTHONY“I just want to go alone. This is something I need to do.”
Shayla carefully watched his face. She felt that Anthony was hiding something from her.
SHAYLA“Something you need to do? What does that mean?”
Anthony avoided her eyes. He knew that if he revealed his secret, the surprise for D’Nisha would be ruined.
ANTHONY“It means exactly what I said. You’re not coming.”
Shayla became hurt. She slowly turned around and walked away while Anthony watched her disappear from the room.
Shayla Tells Angelina
Shayla returned home feeling upset. Angelina immediately noticed the sadness and frustration on her daughter’s face.
ANGELINA“Shayla, what happened?”
Shayla sat beside her mother and explained everything.
SHAYLA“Anthony told me I can’t go to Turks and Caicos with him.”
Angelina calmly asked Shayla whether Anthony had given her a reason.
SHAYLA“He just said no. He wouldn’t explain anything.”
Angelina tried to make her daughter understand that Anthony had the right to make his own travel plans.
ANGELINA“Shayla, if Anthony doesn’t want you to go, then let it go.”
But Shayla was not satisfied. She strongly believed that Anthony was hiding something.
SHAYLA“I feel like Anthony is planning something.”
Angelina sighed and tried once again to calm her daughter.
ANGELINA“Maybe he is. But if he doesn’t want you there, you should respect that.”
Shayla remained silent for a moment. Her mind was already made up. She wanted to discover what Anthony was hiding.
SHAYLA“No, Mom. Something isn’t right.”
Angelina realized that Shayla was not going to forget about Anthony’s trip.
The Secret Plan
Shayla stood up and looked determined. Angelina watched her carefully.
ANGELINA“What are you planning?”
SHAYLA“I’m going to find out why he is going to Turks and Caicos.”
Angelina did not want Shayla to make an impulsive decision. She knew that following Anthony could create a difficult situation.
ANGELINA“Shayla, don’t make this worse.”
SHAYLA“I need to know the truth.”
Angelina realized that Shayla would not change her mind. Finally, Angelina decided that if Shayla was going, she would go with her.
ANGELINA“Fine. If you are determined to go, then I’m coming with you.”
Shayla looked surprised.
SHAYLA“You’ll come with me?”
ANGELINA“Yes. I’m not going to let you handle this alone.”
Meanwhile, Anthony was preparing for the trip with D’Nisha. He still had no idea that Shayla and Angelina were planning to follow them.
Anthony checked the small ring box hidden inside his luggage. His secret proposal was ready.
The Journey Begins
Anthony and D’Nisha arrived at the airport. D’Nisha was excited about their trip and had no idea what Anthony had planned.
D’NISHA“I still can’t believe we’re actually going to Turks and Caicos.”
ANTHONY“You deserve a special trip.”
D’Nisha looked at Anthony suspiciously.
D’NISHA“You keep saying that. Is there something you’re not telling me?”
Anthony smiled mysteriously.
ANTHONY“You’ll find out soon.”
D’Nisha smiled, still unaware of the surprise waiting for her. Anthony secretly touched the ring box.
Shortly afterward, Shayla and Angelina arrived at the airport. Shayla spotted Anthony and D’Nisha from a distance.
SHAYLA“That’s Anthony.”
Angelina looked in the same direction and saw D’Nisha standing beside him.
ANGELINA“Shayla, stay calm.”
SHAYLA“He lied to me.”
Angelina gently placed a hand on Shayla’s arm.
ANGELINA“We don’t know what is happening yet.”
Shayla continued watching Anthony. Her suspicion was growing stronger.
Turks and Caicos
The beautiful turquoise water sparkled beneath the sunlight. Palm trees moved gently in the ocean breeze.
Anthony and D’Nisha arrived at a stunning location overlooking the ocean. D’Nisha looked around in amazement.
D’NISHA“Anthony, this place is beautiful.”
ANTHONY“I wanted you to see something unforgettable.”
D’Nisha looked at him curiously.
D’NISHA“You’re acting strange.”
ANTHONY“Just trust me.”
A short distance away, Shayla and Angelina arrived. Shayla immediately spotted Anthony and D’Nisha.
Shayla stopped walking.
ANGELINA“Shayla, please stay calm.”
Shayla did not answer. Her eyes remained fixed on Anthony.
Anthony and D’Nisha walked closer to the water. Anthony suddenly stopped.
D’Nisha turned toward him, confused.
D’NISHA“What happened?”
Anthony slowly reached into his jacket.
Then he got down on one knee.
D’Nisha’s eyes widened in complete surprise.
ANTHONY“D’Nisha, I brought you here because I wanted this moment to be special. I want to spend my future with you. Will you marry me?”
D’Nisha covered her mouth in shock. Tears filled her eyes.
D’NISHA“Anthony… yes.”
Anthony smiled and placed the ring on D’Nisha’s finger. D’Nisha looked at the ring emotionally.
But someone else had witnessed the entire proposal.
Shayla.
Shayla Loses Her Temper
Shayla stood frozen. She could not believe what she was seeing. Anthony, the man who had told her she could not come, was now proposing to D’Nisha.
SHAYLA“He brought her here to propose?”
ANGELINA“Shayla…”
SHAYLA“He lied to me.”
Angelina tried to calm her daughter.
ANGELINA“Please calm down.”
SHAYLA“He told me I couldn’t come because he had a secret plan with her.”
Shayla became increasingly angry and moved toward Anthony and D’Nisha to confront them.
Anthony noticed Shayla approaching.
ANTHONY“Shayla?”
D’Nisha turned around and looked shocked.
D’NISHA“What are you doing here?”
SHAYLA“So this is why you didn’t want me to come?”
ANTHONY“Shayla, this is not the place for this.”
SHAYLA“You lied to me!”
Shayla moved forward angrily, but Angelina immediately stepped between her and Anthony.
ANGELINA“Shayla! Stop!”
Angelina held Shayla back and prevented the situation from becoming physical.
ANGELINA“You are angry right now. You need to calm down.”
SHAYLA“Mom, let me go!”
ANGELINA“No. You are not going to do something in anger that you will regret.”
Shayla stopped struggling but continued staring angrily at Anthony.
The Emotional Ending
The beautiful island suddenly became filled with tension. Anthony stood beside D’Nisha while Shayla remained with Angelina.
ANTHONY“Shayla, I never wanted this to turn into a fight.”
SHAYLA“You could have told me the truth.”
ANTHONY“Maybe I should have. But this is my decision.”
Shayla looked at D’Nisha’s ring and became emotional. Angelina gently held her arm.
ANGELINA“Shayla, you came here because you wanted the truth. Now you know the truth.”
Shayla remained silent.
Angelina continued trying to make her understand that she could not control Anthony’s decision.
