Scene 1 — Larry’s House — Evening

The evening sky is darkening outside. Inside Larry’s house, everything is unusually quiet. Larry is standing near the living room window, lost in thought.

Suddenly, there is a knock at the door.

Larry turns toward it.

Another knock.

He walks over and opens the door.

Sharra is standing outside. Her face is tense, and her eyes are filled with worry.

Sharra? What happened?

Sharra takes a breath before answering.

Larry, I need you to come with me.

Come with you? Where?

Sharra steps inside.

I need to find my mom. And I can’t do this alone.

Larry’s expression becomes serious.

What happened to your mom?

Sharra looks down for a moment, trying to control her emotions.

She’s missing, Larry. I don’t know where she is, and I need your help.

Okay. Tell me what you need me to do.

Sharra looks directly into his eyes.

You have to come with me to find my mom. And you have to go to the police station with me.

Larry remains silent for a moment.

Before he can respond, Bethany enters the room. She has heard everything.

Bethany stops when she sees Sharra standing there. Her expression immediately changes.

Scene 2 — The Confrontation

Bethany walks toward them. Her voice is calm at first, but there is anger underneath it.

Seriously, Sharra?

Sharra turns toward her.

What?

Bethany folds her arms.

You come here whenever you need something from Larry.

Sharra’s expression hardens.

My mom is missing. This isn’t some game.

Bethany takes a step closer.

And this is your problem. So what exactly can Larry do about it?

Because I need his help!

You always need his help.

Bethany takes another step forward.

Because of you, Larry can’t even spend time with me.

Bethany, this isn’t the right time.

Our relationship keeps getting worse because of you, Sharra.

The room suddenly becomes silent.

Sharra’s eyes widen. Her face turns red with anger.

Don’t you dare blame me for your relationship problems.

I’m not blaming you for everything. I’m telling you what I’ve been watching happen again and again.

You don’t know anything about what I’m going through.

And you don’t know anything about what Larry and I are going through.

Larry steps between them.

Enough. Both of you.

Scene 3 — The Argument Explodes

For a moment, neither woman says anything.

Then Sharra looks past Larry toward Bethany.

If you really cared about Larry, you would understand that someone needs help right now.

And if you really cared about Larry, you wouldn’t keep pulling him into every crisis in your life.

My mother is missing!

And Larry isn’t responsible for finding her!

Larry looks between them.

Stop!

Neither of them listens.

You only care about yourself!

And you only care about getting Larry whenever you need him!

Take that back!

Why? Because it’s true?

Sharra moves forward. Bethany doesn’t move.

The tension between them reaches its breaking point.

Suddenly, the argument turns into a physical struggle.

Larry quickly steps between them and tries to separate them.

Stop! Stop it!

Both of you, calm down!

Move, Larry!

No! I’m not letting this turn into something worse.

Scene 4 — Larry’s Decision

The room becomes completely silent.

Larry takes a deep breath.

Sharra, I will help you.

Bethany looks at him in disbelief.

Larry…

But I’m not doing this because you two are fighting.

He looks at both women.

I’m doing it because someone needs help.

Sharra slowly nods.

Bethany remains silent.

Larry walks toward the table and picks up his keys.

Sharra, let’s go to the police station.

Thank you, Larry.

Larry turns toward Bethany.

Bethany, I’m sorry.

She doesn’t answer.

Larry pauses at the door.

We’ll talk when I get back.

Bethany finally looks at him.

Just be careful.

Larry nods.

Sharra walks toward the door. Before leaving, she looks back at Bethany.

For a moment, the two women stare at each other.

Neither says a word.

Larry opens the door. Sharra walks outside, and Larry follows.

The door slowly closes behind them.

Bethany remains alone in the living room.

She looks toward the closed door, fighting back her emotions.

Outside, Larry and Sharra walk toward the car. Sharra looks worried.

Larry starts the engine. The headlights illuminate the dark street.

The car pulls away.

Back inside the house, Bethany stands silently by the window. She watches the car disappear into the distance.

Her face shows a mixture of anger, sadness, and uncertainty.

The camera slowly pulls back.

The room becomes quiet again.
