Brooke Confronts Isaiah After Mariah Reveals the Truth
A shocking secret finally comes to light
SCENE 1 — CAMERON TELLS MARIAH THE TRUTH MUST COME OUT
The room is quiet. Mariah sits across from Cameron, looking nervous. She knows there is something she has been avoiding, but Cameron refuses to let her keep running from the truth.
CAMERON
“You need to tell Brooke everything that happened.”
Mariah looks down at the floor. She knows Cameron is right, but telling Brooke the truth could completely change Brooke’s relationship with Isaiah.
MARIAH
“What if she gets angry with me?”
Cameron looks at her seriously.
CAMERON
“She has a right to know. Keeping this secret will only make things worse.”
Mariah takes a deep breath. After a long moment, she finally nods.
MARIAH
“Okay. I’ll tell her.”
Mariah gets up, grabs her things, and walks toward the door. She knows there is no turning back now.
SCENE 2 — MARIAH ARRIVES AT BROOKE’S HOUSE
Later that day, Mariah arrives at Brooke’s house. She stands outside the door for several seconds before finally knocking.
The door opens.
Brooke immediately freezes when she sees Mariah standing there. Her expression quickly changes from surprise to irritation.
BROOKE
“What are you doing here?”
Mariah remains calm. She knows Brooke is already upset, but she also knows that the conversation cannot wait.
MARIAH
“I need to talk to you.”
BROOKE
“About what?”
Mariah looks directly at her.
MARIAH
“About Isaiah.”
Brooke’s expression changes. For a moment, she says nothing. Then she steps aside.
BROOKE
“Come in.”
Mariah walks inside. Brooke closes the door behind her.
SCENE 3 — MARIAH REVEALS THE SECRET
Brooke and Mariah sit across from each other. The room becomes completely silent.
Brooke waits for Mariah to speak.
BROOKE
“Okay. Tell me what’s going on.”
Mariah takes a deep breath.
MARIAH
“I came here because I want to tell you the truth about Isaiah.”
Brooke looks confused.
BROOKE
“What truth?”
Mariah carefully begins explaining what happened when Brooke went to Philly.
MARIAH
“The day you came to Philly, Isaiah found out that you were coming. As soon as he realized you were on your way, he told me to go back home.”
Brooke’s eyes widen.
BROOKE
“Wait. He told you to leave?”
Mariah nods.
MARIAH
“Yes. And there’s more.”
Mariah hesitates before revealing the most painful part.
MARIAH
“Isaiah has been playing games with both of us. He has been flirting with both of us and making each of us feel like we were special to him.”
Brooke stands up, visibly upset.
BROOKE
“So he’s been talking to both of us this whole time?”
Mariah slowly nods.
MARIAH
“That’s what I believe. I didn’t want you to find out from someone else. You deserved to hear the truth from me.”
Brooke looks away, trying to control her emotions.
BROOKE
“I trusted him.”
Mariah looks at her sympathetically.
MARIAH
“I know. That’s why I came here.”
SCENE 4 — BROOKE AND MARIAH MAKE A PLAN
Brooke takes a deep breath and looks at Mariah.
BROOKE
“We need to hear it from Isaiah himself.”
Mariah agrees.
MARIAH
“Then let’s go to Philly.”
Brooke pauses before answering.
BROOKE
“Fine. We’ll go together.”
The two women prepare to leave. Neither knows exactly how the confrontation will end, but both know that the truth can no longer remain hidden.
SCENE 5 — THE CONFRONTATION IN PHILLY
Brooke and Mariah arrive in Philly and find Isaiah.
Isaiah immediately looks surprised when he sees them together.
ISAIAH
“Brooke? Mariah? What are you both doing here?”
Brooke walks toward him, her face filled with anger and disappointment.
BROOKE
“You know exactly why we’re here.”
Isaiah looks confused.
ISAIAH
“What are you talking about?”
Brooke looks directly into his eyes.
BROOKE
“Mariah told me everything.”
Isaiah’s expression changes. He realizes that the secret is no longer a secret.
ISAIAH
“Brooke, let me explain.”
BROOKE
“You betrayed me. I trusted you, and you were playing games behind my back.”
Isaiah tries to defend himself.
ISAIAH
“That’s not what happened.”
MARIAH
“Then tell us what really happened.”
Isaiah becomes silent.
Brooke looks at him with disappointment.
BROOKE
“You made both of us believe that we mattered to you.”
SCENE 6 — BROOKE LOSES HER TEMPER
The confrontation becomes heated.
Isaiah continues trying to defend himself, but Brooke is overwhelmed by anger and disappointment.
ISAIAH
“You don’t understand the whole situation.”
BROOKE
“I understand enough.”
In the heat of the argument, Brooke angrily slaps Isaiah.
Mariah immediately steps forward to calm the situation.
MARIAH
“Brooke, stop. Let’s just get the answers we came for.”
Brooke takes a step back.
The room becomes quiet again.

Brooke looks at Isaiah one final time.
BROOKE
“All I ever wanted from you was the truth.”
Isaiah remains silent.
Mariah stands beside Brooke. For the first time, Brooke realizes that she does not have to accept excuses simply because she once trusted someone.
BROOKE
“You should have told me the truth from the beginning.”
Isaiah looks down.

Brooke turns away, and Mariah follows her.
