BROOKE’S HEARTBREAK AFTER ISAIAH RETURNS! A NEW BEGINNING FOR BROOKE
Brooke’s life takes an unexpected turn when she discovers that Isaiah has returned to Atlanta. Later, Brooke approaches Bethany and tells her about her decision. She asks Bethany to prepare everything for her college enrollment. Bethany is surprised because their relationship has been difficult recently.
BROOKE ASKS BETHANY TO PREPARE FOR COLLEGE
BROOKE:
“Bethany, I need you to help me get everything ready. I’ve decided that I want to go to college. I’m serious about making this change.”
BETHANY:
“Brooke, are you really serious about this? Going to college is a big commitment. I don’t want you to change your mind again.”
BROOKE:
“I know, Bethany. This time I really mean it. I want to do something with my life, and I don’t want to keep making the same mistakes.”
Bethany notices that Brooke sounds more determined than before. However, Brooke knows that there is something else she needs to do before starting this new chapter. She wants to apologize for all the arguments and disagreements between them.
BROOKE APOLOGIZES TO BETHANY
Brooke looks directly at Bethany and begins speaking emotionally. She admits that their relationship has suffered because of her behavior.
BROOKE:
“Before we do anything else, I want to apologize to you. I know we’ve had so many arguments, and there were times when I didn’t respect your advice. I know you were trying to help me, even when I didn’t want to listen. I’m sorry for the way I’ve treated you.”
BETHANY:
“I just wanted you to understand that everything I said was because I care about you. I don’t want to see you making decisions that could hurt your future. I want the best for you.”
Bethany becomes emotional because she never expected Brooke to apologize so sincerely. Brooke also realizes that Bethany has been trying to support her despite their disagreements.
Brooke then turns her attention toward Larry. She knows that he has repeatedly tried to guide her in the right direction, but she has not always appreciated his advice.
BROOKE APOLOGIZES TO LARRY AND BREAKS DOWN IN TEARS
BROOKE:
“Larry, I want to apologize to you too. I know you’ve tried to help me, but I haven’t always listened. You’ve been telling me to focus on my future, and I should have taken your advice seriously. I’m sorry.”
LARRY:
“Brooke, I never wanted anything bad for you. I just want you to have a good future. Your life is bigger than what happened between you and Isaiah. You still have so many opportunities ahead of you.”
Brooke becomes overwhelmed with emotion. She steps forward and hugs Larry tightly. Tears begin falling as she finally expresses how much his support means to her.
BROOKE:
“Thank you for not giving up on me. I know I haven’t made things easy, but I’m going to try to do better. I really want to change.”
BETHANY ALSO STARTS CRYING AFTER SEEING BROOKE AND LARRY
Bethany watches Brooke hugging Larry and becomes emotional. Seeing Brooke finally apologize reminds her of all the difficult moments they have experienced as a family.

“I’m just happy that we’re finally getting somewhere. I don’t want us to keep fighting. I want this family to support each other.”
