01 SCENE 1 — THE PODCAST STUDIO
The studio is buzzing with excitement. Cameras are rolling, lights are glowing, and Wayne sits confidently in his chair, ready to introduce someone special. A beautiful young woman with long pink hair walks into the room. Her name is Queen. She smiles nervously as everyone turns to look at her.
“Everybody, we’ve got something special today! Let me introduce you to the newest addition to the podcast. From this moment on, she’s officially the new queen of the podcast!”
Queen laughs softly, trying to hide her excitement. Wayne gestures toward an empty chair beside him, inviting her to sit down.
“Thank you, Wayne. I’m excited to be here. I honestly didn’t expect such a big welcome.”
“You better get used to it! Around here, we know how to make our queens feel special.”
Everyone laughs. Queen relaxes a little, unaware that this introduction is about to change her life in ways she could never imagine.
Just then, Wayne looks toward the studio entrance.
“Hold on, though. We can’t officially welcome the new queen without introducing her to somebody. Dave, come on in here!”
Dave walks into the studio wearing a confident smile. His calm expression changes slightly when his eyes land on Queen. For a moment, he forgets why he came into the room.
Queen looks up at him. Their eyes meet. Something shifts between them, and neither seems able to look away.
02 SCENE 2 — LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT
Dave approaches Queen, extending his hand. She takes it, smiling warmly. Their handshake lasts a second longer than necessary.
“Dave, meet Queen. And Queen, this is Dave. I figured you two should know each other.”
“Queen? That’s a beautiful name.”
“Thank you. Dave is a nice name, too.”
“Just a nice name? I was hoping for something better than that.”
Queen laughs, and Dave grins. Wayne watches their interaction with amusement, noticing the chemistry between them.
“Hold on! You two just met, and already you’re smiling like you’ve known each other for years.”
“No, Wayne! We’re just being friendly.”
“Exactly. We’re just being friendly.”
Dave says it with a smile, but his eyes remain fixed on Queen. He finds her incredibly attractive. Her smile, her confidence, and the way she looks at him have already caught his attention.
Queen feels something unfamiliar stirring inside her. She tries to focus on Wayne’s conversation, but every time Dave speaks, she finds herself listening more closely.
She knows she has only just met him. Still, she cannot deny the attraction. Dave, meanwhile, is already imagining how he might see her again.
03 SCENE 3 — AN UNEXPECTED OPPORTUNITY
The podcast continues for a while. Wayne jokes with Queen, asks her questions, and explains what being the new queen of the podcast will involve. Dave joins the conversation, but his attention keeps drifting toward Queen.
Then Kountry’s phone begins ringing. He checks the screen and notices that he needs to take the call privately.
“Excuse me, everybody. I need to take this call. I’ll be right back.”
Kountry gets up and walks away from the recording area. The studio suddenly feels quieter.
Queen adjusts her position in her chair. Dave turns toward her, recognizing that this might be his chance to speak to her without everyone listening.
“So, Queen, tell me something. Are you always this quiet around new people?”
“I’m not quiet. I just don’t talk too much when I’ve only just met someone.”
“Then I guess I’ll have to give you a reason to talk to me more.”
Queen smiles and looks down for a moment.
“You seem very confident.”
“Only when I know what I want.”
His words make Queen look up again. For a brief moment, neither speaks. Dave reaches for his phone.
“Give me your number. I want to talk to you when we’re not surrounded by cameras.”
Queen hesitates briefly, then shares her number with him.
“Fine, but don’t call me just to tell me how beautiful I am.”
“What if that’s the first thing I want to tell you?”
Queen laughs again. Dave saves her number, satisfied that he has found a way to stay connected with her.
When Kountry returns, they both act as though nothing unusual has happened. But the exchange has already planted the seed for something much bigger.
04 SCENE 4 — THE MIDNIGHT PHONE CALL
Later that night, Queen sits in her room, scrolling through her phone. She keeps remembering the way Dave looked at her in the studio. She tells herself not to get carried away. After all, they have only just met.
Then her phone lights up. Dave’s name appears on the screen.
Queen immediately sits up, her heart beating faster. She waits a moment before answering, trying to sound casual.
“Hello?”
“Hey, Queen. Did I catch you at a bad time?”
“No. I was just relaxing. What’s up?”
“I’ve been thinking about you since we met today.”
Queen smiles, unable to hide her happiness.
“Really? We barely even talked.”
“Sometimes you don’t need a long conversation to know when someone catches your attention.”
Queen becomes quiet, listening carefully.
“Listen, I want to see you. Come over, and let’s talk properly. No cameras, no audience, and no Wayne making jokes about us.”
Queen laughs.
“You really don’t waste any time, do you?”
“Not when I know what I want.”
She pauses, considering his invitation. Her curiosity wins, and she agrees to meet him.
A little later, Queen arrives at Dave’s place. He welcomes her inside, and the two settle down to talk. The atmosphere is intimate, and Queen feels both nervous and excited.
05 SCENE 5 — A PROPOSAL THAT CHANGES EVERYTHING
Dave looks directly into Queen’s eyes. His playful expression disappears, replaced by a surprising seriousness.
“Queen, I need to tell you something.”
“What is it?”
“I like you. And I don’t mean that I just think you’re attractive. There’s something about you that makes me want to take this seriously.”
Queen stares at him, trying to understand where the conversation is going.
“Dave, we literally met today. How can you be so sure about something like this?”
“I know it sounds crazy, but I don’t want to waste time pretending I don’t feel what I feel.”
He takes a breath before delivering his next words.
“I want to marry you.”
Queen freezes. For a moment, she wonders whether he is joking. But Dave continues, looking completely serious.
“I want us to get married tomorrow morning. I know it’s sudden, but I can’t stop thinking about you. I want you to be my wife.”
Queen covers her mouth in disbelief. Her mind races between excitement and uncertainty.
“Tomorrow morning? Dave, that’s so fast. We just met each other!”
“I know. But sometimes you meet someone and feel like you’ve been waiting for them your whole life.”
His words reach the part of Queen that wants to believe in an extraordinary love story. She imagines standing beside him, becoming his wife, and beginning a new chapter together.
“You really mean this?”
“I do. If you say yes, I’ll be there tomorrow morning.”
Queen looks into his eyes. Her smile slowly returns.
“Okay, Dave. I’ll marry you.”
Dave smiles with relief and excitement. He reaches for her hands, and she squeezes his fingers.
Neither of them considers how much their decision might change the lives of the people around them. For Queen, it feels like the beginning of a dream.
