Pierry? What are you doing here?

Pierry walks inside and looks around the house.

I came to see you.

Anthony looks uncomfortable.

PIERRY
Where’s D’Nisha?

ANTHONY
She’s not here. Why?

Pierry gives him a small smile.

Pierry Reminds Anthony About Their Past

PIERRY
Anthony, where have you been? You used to care about me.

ANTHONY
Pierry, what are you talking about?

PIERRY
You used to look for me. You used to want to be around me. Now you’re divorced from Amber. Don’t you ever think about me?

Anthony takes a deep breath.

ANTHONY
I remember our past, but that relationship is over.

Pierry looks shocked.

PIERRY
Over? Anthony, I used to be your girlfriend too.

ANTHONY
I know. But you’re not my girlfriend anymore. That was in the past.

PIERRY
So what changed?

Anthony looks directly at her.

I fell in love with D’Nisha.

Anthony Makes His Boundary Clear

Pierry continues pressuring Anthony. He becomes increasingly uncomfortable and tries to create distance between them.

PIERRY

ANTHONY

Pierry moves closer again.

Anthony firmly moves her away from him and steps back.

I said no!

The room suddenly becomes silent.

You can’t force me to be with you.

Pierry looks stunned.

ANTHONY
I cared about you once, but that doesn’t give you the right to ignore my boundaries.

Pierry lowers her eyes.

ANTHONY
You need to leave.

Pierry Finally Leaves

Pierry looks toward the door. Her confidence has disappeared.

PIERRY
I just wanted you back.

ANTHONY
Wanting someone back doesn’t mean you can pressure them.

Pierry wipes away a tear.

PIERRY
So there’s really no chance?

ANTHONY
No.

PIERRY
Because of D’Nisha?

ANTHONY
Because of my choice. And my choice is D’Nisha.

Pierry slowly walks toward the door.

PIERRY
You really changed, Anthony.

ANTHONY
Maybe I finally learned what I want.

Pierry leaves and the door closes behind her.

Anthony Decides to Tell D’Nisha

Anthony sits alone in the living room. He looks troubled by everything that just happened.

His phone suddenly vibrates.

It is a message from D’Nisha.

D’NISHA’S MESSAGE
I’ll be home soon. Everything okay?

Anthony stares at the message.

He starts typing a reply, but stops.

Anthony knows he cannot hide what happened from D’Nisha.

ANTHONY
I can’t hide this from her.

He puts his phone down and waits for D’Nisha to return.

D’Nisha Comes Home

The front door opens.

D’Nisha walks inside and immediately notices that something is wrong with Anthony.

D’NISHA
Anthony? What’s wrong?

ANTHONY
We need to talk.

D’Nisha becomes concerned.

D’NISHA
About what?

Anthony takes a deep breath.

ANTHONY
Pierry came here today.

D’Nisha’s expression changes.

D’NISHA
Pierry?

ANTHONY
Yes. She came while you were away.

D’NISHA
Why?

ANTHONY
She wanted to get back together with me.

D’Nisha looks at him carefully.

D’NISHA
And what did you say?

ANTHONY
I told her no. I told her that I love you.

Anthony Tells D’Nisha the Truth

Anthony’s voice becomes emotional as he explains everything.

ANTHONY
But she kept pressuring me after I told her no.

D’Nisha looks shocked.

ANTHONY
I had to push her away and tell her to leave.

Anthony nods.

Pierry Has Not Given Up

Anthony and D’Nisha embrace inside the house.

Neither of them notices that Pierry is still outside near her car.

She watches the house from a distance, heartbroken and angry.

PIERRY
If Anthony thinks this is over…

Pierry wipes away a tear and looks toward the house.

PIERRY
He’s wrong.

Pierry gets into her car.

The engine starts.

She drives away into the night.

Inside the house, Anthony and D’Nisha remain together, unaware of what Pierry may do next.
