D’Nisha Confronts Anthony About Amber’s 30%
The Conversation With Amber
D’Nisha had no idea that a simple meeting with Amber would completely
change her mood. She had agreed to meet Amber at a quiet restaurant,
expecting nothing more than a normal conversation. When Amber arrived,
D’Nisha greeted her warmly.
For the first few minutes, everything felt completely normal.
They talked casually, laughed a little, and caught up on what had been
happening in their lives. Amber seemed relaxed, and D’Nisha was
surprisingly comfortable around her.
After a while, however, D’Nisha decided there was something she needed
to ask.
She looked directly at Amber.
D’Nisha:
“Amber, can I ask you something?”
Amber:
“Of course. What’s on your mind?”
D’Nisha took a breath before asking the question that had been
bothering her.
D’Nisha:
“Why did you take thirty percent from Anthony? I thought you told
everyone you didn’t want anything from him. You said you weren’t
asking Anthony for money or anything else. So why did you accept
thirty percent?”
Amber Reveals The Truth
Amber stared at her for a moment before suddenly laughing softly.
Amber:
“D’Nisha, I didn’t ask Anthony for anything.”
D’Nisha:
“What do you mean?”
Amber:
“Anthony gave it to me himself. I never demanded thirty percent.
I never told him that I wanted part of his business or his money.”
D’Nisha remained silent.
Amber:
“Anthony made that decision on his own. He told me he wanted me to
have thirty percent, and he specifically told me that I should be
happy and move forward with my life. He said he didn’t want anything
from me either.”
D’Nisha:
“So you’re telling me Anthony gave you thirty percent because he
wanted to?”
Amber:
“Exactly.”
Amber gave a small shrug.
Amber:
“I didn’t ask for it. He gave it to me because he wanted to put
everything behind us.”
D’Nisha suddenly became quiet. The conversation she had just heard
was completely different from what she believed had happened.
Her frustration began turning into anger.
D’Nisha realized she needed answers directly from Anthony.
D’Nisha Leaves To Confront Anthony
Without saying much more, D’Nisha stood up from the table.
Amber:
“D’Nisha, where are you going?”
D’Nisha:
“Home.”
Amber:
“Are you okay?”
D’Nisha grabbed her purse.
D’Nisha:
“I need to talk to Anthony.”
She walked out of the restaurant, leaving Amber sitting there.
On the drive home, D’Nisha called Anthony.
D’Nisha:
“Anthony, where are you?”
Anthony:
“I’m out right now. Why?”
D’Nisha:
“Come home. We need to talk.”
Anthony immediately noticed the seriousness in her voice.
Anthony:
“Did something happen?”
D’Nisha:
“Just come home, Anthony.”
She ended the call.
Anthony Comes Home With Flowers
By the time D’Nisha reached home, Anthony still hadn’t arrived.
She paced around the house, trying to control her anger.
Several minutes passed.
Then she heard the front door open.
Anthony walked inside with a huge smile on his face. In his hand
was a beautiful bouquet of flowers.
He looked genuinely happy.
Anthony:
“D’Nisha, I have something for you.”
He stepped forward and held out the bouquet.
But D’Nisha didn’t even look at the flowers.
She grabbed them from his hand and threw them aside.
Anthony’s smile disappeared immediately.
Anthony:
“What happened?”
D’Nisha Demands Answers
D’Nisha stared at him.
D’Nisha:
“You told me you didn’t give Amber anything.”
Anthony:
“What are you talking about?”
D’Nisha:
“You told me Amber asked for nothing, and you gave her thirty
percent because you wanted to get away from the situation.”
Anthony looked confused.
Anthony:
“Yes. That’s what happened.”
D’Nisha stepped closer.
D’Nisha:
“Then why did you make it sound like something completely different?”
Anthony looked at her carefully.
Anthony:
“I never said Amber demanded anything from me.”
D’Nisha:
“Don’t lie to me!”
Anthony immediately became silent.
D’Nisha:
“I just came from seeing Amber. She told me everything.”
Anthony:
“D’Nisha…”
D’Nisha:
“She said you gave her thirty percent yourself. She said you told
her to be happy and that you didn’t want anything from her.”
Anthony:
“That’s true.”
Anthony Explains His Decision
D’Nisha stared at him in disbelief.
D’Nisha:
“Then why didn’t you tell me that?”
Anthony tried to explain.
Anthony:
“Because I wanted the situation to end. I thought giving Amber
something would help me move forward and leave everything behind.”
D’Nisha:
“You should have been honest with me.”
Anthony:
“I know.”
D’Nisha:
“You made me believe Amber was asking you for something when she wasn’t.”
Anthony:
“I’m sorry. I should have told you the truth from the beginning.”
The Confrontation Escalates
But D’Nisha was too angry to accept the apology.
In the heat of the argument, D’Nisha slapped Anthony across the face.
Anthony stood completely stunned.
D’Nisha:
“Don’t lie to me again.”
Anthony:
“D’Nisha, please. I’m sorry.”
But D’Nisha’s anger only grew.
D’Nisha:
“You keep saying you’re sorry after everything is already done!”
Anthony:
“I wasn’t trying to hurt you. I made a decision because I wanted
to move on.”
D’Nisha:
“And you thought hiding the truth from me was the way to do it?”
Anthony had no immediate answer.
D’Nisha continued confronting him, demanding answers about why he
had kept the truth from her.
Anthony repeatedly apologized and tried to explain himself, but
D’Nisha was still furious.
The flowers remained scattered on the floor between them.
The Question D’Nisha Couldn’t Let Go
What had started as Anthony coming home happily with a bouquet
had suddenly turned into a painful confrontation.
And now D’Nisha had one question that she couldn’t let go:
