1. A Pain That Anthony Could No Longer Ignore

The night was growing deeper and quieter as Anthony placed the antibiotic medication and a glass of water on the side table. D’Nisha was reclining on the bed in front of him; her eyes were swollen, and her forehead creased again and again from the intensity of the pain.

For the past few days, she had been suffering from such a severe headache that ordinary painkillers had stopped working. Anthony, who cared for D’Nisha beyond measure and would do anything just to see her smile, was now extremely restless seeing her in this condition.

He sat holding her hand, and when the pain became unbearable, he picked up the car keys without waiting any longer and took her to the best psychiatrist in the city.

2. The Doctor Reveals the Real Cause

The atmosphere in the clinic was very peaceful, but Anthony’s heart was beating fast. The doctor performed a detailed examination on D’Nisha, checked her blood pressure, and after asking a few questions, called Anthony into a separate cabin.

Taking off his glasses with a serious expression, the doctor said:

“If her stress isn’t reduced, this pain could worsen. Right now, she desperately needs complete rest, sleep, and mental peace away from all kinds of worry. Give her a break from all her routines for a few days.”

Hearing the doctor’s words, an unknown fear mixed with deep anxiety awoke in Anthony’s heart. He brought D’Nisha back home. He fed her warm soup, gave her the medication, and then gently took her hand in his while sitting beside her.

3. D’Nisha Finally Reveals Her Hidden Suffering

Anthony gazed into her eyes with deep concern.

D’Nisha initially avoided his gaze and tried to brush off the question, but seeing Anthony’s love and concern, her emotional restraint broke. Tears began to stream down her face.

“I thought I could bear it, but their words took such a toll on my mind that my head feels like it’s going to explode.”

Anthony listened silently, but every word made his heart heavier. The person he treasured so deeply had been carrying all this pain alone.

4. Anthony’s Anger Explodes Against the Injustice

As soon as he heard these words from D’Nisha, the color on Anthony’s face changed. The gentle warmth in his demeanor was instantly replaced by intense anger and fury.

His fists clenched, and a reddish tint flushed his eyes. The same D’Nisha whom he treasured like a delicate flower had been broken to this extent by a few rude girls. This was completely unbearable for Anthony.

He patted D’Nisha’s head, told her to lie down and rest, and paced out of the room in a fit of rage. Without wasting a single second, he pulled out his phone and dialed Wayne’s number.

Wayne was the head of the podcast office and the boss of all those employees.

Wayne, startled by Anthony’s harsh tone, asked:

Breaking all limits of restraint, Anthony said:

“They spoke ill of her, insulted her rudely, and pushed her to the point where she became sick. What kind of environment have you built in your office?”

5. Wayne Promises Justice While Anthony Stays Beside D’Nisha

Hearing Anthony’s words, all of Wayne’s peace vanished. He knew how sensitive Anthony was when it came to D’Nisha, and as a boss, letting such an environment breed in his office was a matter of extreme embarrassment for him as well.

Wayne’s tone turned intensely furious and stern.

“I will summon all of them first thing tomorrow morning and take strict action for this behavior. No one is allowed to ruin the peace of my team.”

Wayne assured Anthony that he would take strict action regarding this matter and ensure it never happened again in the future.

Anthony ended the call and took a deep breath. Although his anger had not entirely cooled down, he felt relieved knowing that the matter would finally be addressed.

He went back to the room to provide D’Nisha with the mental comfort and love she needed most at that moment.
