Bethany’s Dangerous Plan

1. Bethany Calls Brooke’s College

Bethany finally puts her plan into action. She calls Brooke’s college and asks to speak with the principal. Without revealing her real intentions, she pretends to be Brooke’s mother.

“I’m Brooke’s mother. Brooke won’t be able to attend college anymore. I want you to remove her from the college,” Bethany tells the principal.

The principal is shocked and asks why Brooke has to leave. Bethany immediately gives an excuse, saying that she can no longer afford Brooke’s expensive college fees. She makes her voice sound worried so that the principal will believe her story.

2. Larry Hears Everything

What Bethany doesn’t realize is that Larry is nearby. He hears the entire conversation from beginning to end. As soon as the call ends, Larry becomes furious.

Larry looks at Bethany angrily and says, “Today I finally realized how much you are against my daughter Brooke!”

Bethany is stunned for a moment, but she quickly hides her fear. She knows Larry is angry, but she also knows that her real plan has not yet been revealed.

3. Bethany’s Secret Plan

Deep inside, Bethany starts thinking about what will happen next. She believes Larry will eventually suspect Sharra. She wants Larry to believe that Sharra was the person who called Brooke’s college.

Bethany thinks to herself, “Larry will start doubting Sharra. Then they will fight, and their relationship will finally fall apart.”

This is exactly what Bethany wants. She hopes that Larry will become so angry with Sharra that he will stop talking to her completely.

4. Bethany Wants Larry Back

Bethany’s ultimate goal is much bigger than Brooke’s college. She wants Larry to abandon his decision to divorce her.

She believes that if Larry and Sharra start fighting, Larry may reconsider the divorce. Bethany imagines Larry returning to her and becoming hers again.

But Bethany’s feelings are not based on love alone. She is still carrying resentment and anger toward Larry. In her mind, she plans to take revenge on him for everything she believes he has done to her.

Bethany quietly thinks, “Once Larry is back under my control, I’ll make him pay for every single thing.”

5. Will Bethany’s Plan Work?

Larry remains furious after hearing the phone call. Bethany watches him carefully, hoping he will soon turn his anger toward Sharra.

However, Bethany doesn’t know that Larry has already noticed something unusual about the situation. One small detail in her story has made him suspicious.

Larry suddenly turns toward Bethany and says, “Bethany, there’s something I don’t understand.”

Bethany’s face changes instantly. For the first time, she wonders whether Larry has discovered the truth.
