The moment Brooke finally told Larry the truth, he stopped breathing.
She stood in front of him with tears streaming down her face, knowing that once the words left her mouth, nothing between them would ever be the same again.
SCENE 1 — BROOKE TELLS LARRY THE TRUTH
Brooke wiped her tears, but they kept falling.
BROOKE
“I was with Isaiah… We had a relationship. But he left me. Now he’s with another girl like I meant nothing to him.”
Larry stared at her in disbelief.
LARRY
“Why didn’t you tell me before?”
Brooke lowered her eyes.
BROOKE
“Because I was scared. I didn’t know what you would think of me.”
Larry took a deep breath.
LARRY
“You should never have had to carry this by yourself.”
For a moment, Brooke thought Larry was going to walk away.
Instead, he grabbed his keys.
BROOKE
“Larry… where are you going?”
LARRY
“I need to talk to Isaiah.”
Brooke immediately became nervous.
BROOKE
“Please don’t do anything stupid.”
Larry looked back at her.
LARRY
“I just want an answer.”
SCENE 2 — ISAIAH’S HOUSE
Larry’s car stopped outside Isaiah’s house.
He stepped out and walked toward the front door.
After a few seconds, Isaiah opened it.
ISAIAH
“What are you doing here?”
LARRY
“You know exactly why I’m here.”
Isaiah frowned.
ISAIAH
“No, I don’t.”
Larry stepped closer.
LARRY
“Brooke told me everything.”
Isaiah’s expression changed for a second. Then, strangely, he smiled.
ISAIAH
“So?”
Larry’s voice became sharper.
LARRY
“You were with her. You made her believe you cared about her. Then you left her and started seeing another girl. Why did you do that?”
Isaiah shrugged.
ISAIAH
“Because I wanted to.”
Larry stared at him.
LARRY
“That’s your answer?”
Isaiah crossed his arms.
ISAIAH
“My life. My choice. I’ll do whatever I want with whoever I want.”
Larry stepped forward.
LARRY
“You don’t get to treat people like they’re disposable.”
Isaiah laughed.
ISAIAH
“That’s not your business.”
The tension between them suddenly became unbearable.
SCENE 3 — THE POLICE ARRIVE
Larry, furious and convinced that Brooke deserved justice, contacted the police and reported the allegations she had told him about.
A police car arrived minutes later.
Isaiah looked confused as the officers approached.
ISAIAH
“What’s going on?”
Larry remained serious.
LARRY
“I want him investigated for what happened to Brooke.”
Isaiah’s face went pale.
ISAIAH
“You can’t just accuse me of something!”
The officers separated everyone and began asking questions.
Then Brooke arrived.
She had followed Larry because she feared he would make things worse.
When she saw Isaiah surrounded by police officers, she immediately ran toward Larry.
BROOKE
“Larry!”
She grabbed his arm. Her hands were shaking.
BROOKE
“Please… don’t do this.”
Larry looked at her.
LARRY
“Brooke, he hurt you.”
BROOKE
“I know I’m hurting, but I don’t want you making a decision because you’re angry.”
Brooke’s eyes filled with tears.
BROOKE
“Please… let the police handle it. Don’t destroy your life because of what happened to me.”
Larry looked toward Isaiah.
For the first time that night, he hesitated.
SCENE 4 — THE MYSTERIOUS MESSAGE
The police continued speaking with everyone.
Brooke stood beside Larry, still crying.
Then her phone suddenly vibrated.
She looked at the screen.
Her entire expression changed.
LARRY
“What is it?”
Brooke didn’t answer.
She slowly turned the phone toward him.
“Brooke is not telling you the whole story.”
Larry looked at Brooke.
LARRY
“What does that mean?”
Brooke’s eyes filled with fear.
BROOKE
“I… I don’t know.”
Another message arrived.
This time, there was an attachment.
Brooke stared at it without opening it.
LARRY
“Open it.”
Brooke hesitated.
Then she tapped the screen.
Her eyes suddenly widened.
She covered her mouth.
Larry immediately noticed.
LARRY
“Brooke… what did you see?”
She slowly looked up at him.
Her face was completely pale.
⚠️ THE SUSPENSE
Across the street, Isaiah was watching them.
And when their eyes met…
Isaiah smiled.
Larry realized something terrifying.
Maybe this wasn’t simply a story about Brooke being abandoned.
