Cameron Confronts Mariah — Over Brooke and Isaiah

Cameron Confronts Mariah

Over Brooke and Isaiah

Scene 1 — JB Tells Cameron the Truth

A quiet afternoon. Cameron scrolls his phone until JB walks in, visibly troubled.

JB

Cameron, man… I need to tell you something. Isaiah broke things off with Brooke because Mariah got involved.

CAMERON

Wait — what? So Brooke’s hurting because of this?

JB

Yeah. She’s been dealing with enough already.

Cameron shakes his head, frustrated. He says he’s going to talk to Mariah. JB warns him to keep his cool, and Cameron heads outside.

Scene 2 — Cameron Calls Mariah

CAMERON

Mariah, I need you to come over. We need to talk — about Brooke and Isaiah.

MARIAH

Why do you care?

Cameron insists he isn’t trying to argue. Mariah reluctantly agrees to come.

Scene 3 — Mariah Arrives

Cameron waits near the driveway as Mariah pulls up, arms already crossed.

CAMERON

Whatever happened between Isaiah and Brooke should’ve stayed between them. Your involvement made it worse.

MARIAH

So now everything’s my fault?

CAMERON

I’m saying your choices affected Brooke.

MARIAH

Brooke needs to worry about herself.

Cameron accuses her of only caring about getting what she wants. Mariah laughs it off, refusing to admit anything was wrong.

Scene 4 — The Argument Escalates

Cameron presses harder — Brooke is the one paying the price for choices that weren’t hers. Mariah shrugs it off again and again: “That’s not my problem.” When Cameron pushes back, she snaps that she’ll do whatever she wants and doesn’t care what anyone thinks.

Cameron’s patience finally breaks. The argument turns physical — he strikes her.

Mariah steps back, stunned. The moment goes silent. Cameron realizes, too late, how far things have gone.

MARIAH

You really just did that?

Cameron says nothing.

Scene 5 — Isaiah Sees Everything

Isaiah arrives across the street and sees enough to know something happened.

ISAIAH

What did you do?! You had no right!

CAMERON

And you had no right to hurt Brooke!

The two men square off, shouting over each other about loyalty and blame, until JB arrives, alarmed by the noise.

JB

Everybody stop! This is exactly what I was afraid of.

JB orders Cameron to own his temper and tells Isaiah to step back. Isaiah reluctantly obeys.

Scene 6 — The Consequences

With the anger settling but the tension still thick, JB lays it out for everyone:

Cameron’s anger over Brooke didn’t excuse losing his temper. Mariah’s choices carried consequences whether she asked for them or not. And Isaiah needed to decide what kind of man he wanted to be — one who handles his relationship honestly, not one who lets everyone else become part of it.

ISAIAH

I know I messed up.

CAMERON

Then fix what you can.

ISAIAH

You don’t get to tell me what to do.

Scene 7 — Final Moment

Mariah walks away, still upset. Isaiah watches her go, then turns back to Cameron.

ISAIAH

This isn’t over. Stay away from Mariah.

CAMERON

You need to worry about Brooke.

JB

That’s enough!

The three stand in silence. What began as a conversation about Brooke has become a far bigger conflict — and somewhere else, Brooke still has no idea how far it’s gone.

JB

Everybody go home. We’ll deal with this when everyone’s cooled down.

Cameron walks away. Isaiah lingers, staring in the direction Mariah went. The tension is far from over.

FADE OUT.
