1. Early Morning
The house was unusually quiet when Larry woke up. Expecting to hear the familiar sounds of morning, he instead found silence. He walked to Brooke’s room and gently pushed the door open, only to find it empty. Her bed was untouched, and her phone was missing from its usual spot. Worry crept into his chest as he checked every room, but Brooke was nowhere in the house.
2. Searching the House
Larry checked the front door — it was unlocked, and the driveway sat empty. He grabbed his phone and called Brooke, but the ring went unanswered. He tried again. Still nothing. Standing alone in the quiet house, Larry whispered to himself, wondering where she could have gone. With no answers in sight, he picked up the phone once more and called his friend Purnell.
3. Larry Calls Purnell
Purnell answered, confused by the early call. Larry explained quickly: Brooke was gone, her room untouched, her phone silent. Purnell sat up immediately, alarmed. He asked if Larry had checked everywhere, and Larry confirmed he had searched every corner of the house. Purnell told him to stay calm — they would find her together — before grabbing his things and heading out the door.
4. Purnell Arrives
When Purnell reached the house, Larry met him outside and repeated everything that had happened. Purnell asked if Brooke had said anything unusual the night before. Larry hesitated, then admitted that Brooke had been struggling because of Isaiah. Purnell understood immediately and asked if Isaiah might know something. Larry agreed — it was time to find him and get answers.
5. Looking for Isaiah
The two men tracked down Isaiah, who sensed something was wrong the moment he saw their faces. Larry asked bluntly where Brooke was, but Isaiah claimed he didn’t know and hadn’t seen her. Purnell explained that Brooke was missing and they needed answers. Though nervous, Isaiah agreed to come along, and the three of them left together to talk somewhere private.
6. The Old Mansion
They arrived at an abandoned mansion, silent and surrounded by overgrown grass. Larry assured Isaiah they weren’t there to hurt him — only to find the truth. Isaiah repeated that he didn’t know where Brooke was, but Purnell pressed further, demanding to know everything that had happened between him and Brooke. Isaiah looked down, aware the conversation was about to get serious.
7. The Truth About Brooke
Larry revealed the reason Brooke had left: Isaiah had cheated on her. Isaiah admitted he had made mistakes, but Larry insisted it was more than that — Brooke had trusted him completely, and the betrayal had pushed her past her limit. Purnell agreed that people under enough pressure can make decisions without thinking of the consequences, and that finding Brooke quickly was now essential.
8. Larry Confronts Isaiah
Larry told Isaiah plainly that he was responsible for his part in what happened, and that treating Brooke differently might have changed everything. Purnell reminded them both that blame wouldn’t bring Brooke home. Larry agreed, then turned back to Isaiah and told him he would stay with them until Brooke was found, since he might remember details that could help. Isaiah, surprised but willing, agreed to help.
9. The Search Continues
Larry checked his phone for clues while Purnell paced, thinking. The weight of the situation settled over all three of them. Purnell suggested thinking about places Brooke might go to be alone — friends, familiar spots, anywhere she felt safe. Suddenly, Isaiah remembered something: a place Brooke had once mentioned, somewhere she used to go whenever she needed time to think.
10. Determined to Find Brooke
The three men left the mansion with new purpose. Larry stared down the road ahead, worry still heavy on his mind, while Purnell walked beside him and Isaiah followed quietly. Larry vowed they would bring Brooke home, no matter how long it took. Isaiah, weighed down by guilt, hoped she was safe. Together, they moved forward — the search for Brooke had only just begun.
