CAMERON STOPS HIS SISTER FROM KICKING BROOKE OUT — WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?
INT. CAMERON’S HOUSE — BROOKE’S ROOM — EVENING
The house is unusually quiet. Brooke sits on the edge of the bed, looking worried and emotionally exhausted. Suddenly, the bedroom door opens.
CAMERON’S SISTER walks into the room with a serious expression. She looks directly at Brooke.
CAMERON’S SISTER
Brooke, you need to pack your things and go back home.
Brooke looks up in surprise. She clearly was not expecting this conversation.
BROOKE
Why are you telling me to leave?
CAMERON’S SISTER
Because this is not your house. You’ve stayed here long enough, and I think it’s time for you to go home.
Brooke slowly stands up. She looks toward the door and then back at Cameron’s sister.
BROOKE
I’m not leaving.
Cameron’s sister stares at Brooke in disbelief. Her patience begins to disappear.
CAMERON’S SISTER
Excuse me? I just told you to go home.
BROOKE
You heard me. I’m not leaving.
THE ARGUMENT ESCALATES
The atmosphere in the room immediately becomes tense. Cameron’s sister takes a deep breath, trying to remain calm, but Brooke’s refusal makes her increasingly frustrated.
CAMERON’S SISTER
Brooke, I’m asking you nicely. Please don’t make this difficult.
BROOKE
I’m not trying to make anything difficult. I just don’t have anywhere I want to go right now.
CAMERON’S SISTER
Then you need to figure it out somewhere else.
Brooke’s eyes begin to fill with tears. She feels unwanted and confused by the sudden situation.
BROOKE
Why are you treating me like this?
CAMERON’S SISTER
Because I’ve already made my decision.
BROOKE
I’m still not going.
BROOKE IS FORCED TOWARD THE DOOR
Cameron’s sister becomes furious. She walks toward Brooke and grabs her arm, trying to make her leave the room.
BROOKE
Don’t touch me!
CAMERON’S SISTER
Get out of this room!
Brooke refuses to move. Cameron’s sister starts forcing her toward the hallway. Brooke tries to hold onto the doorframe.
BROOKE
Stop! Please! I can walk by myself!
CAMERON’S SISTER
Then walk!
The argument becomes louder. Brooke is visibly upset, and the situation is quickly getting out of control.
CAMERON ARRIVES
Suddenly, footsteps echo through the hallway. Cameron appears and immediately sees what is happening.
CAMERON
What are you doing?
Cameron’s sister stops. Brooke looks toward Cameron with tears in her eyes.
BROOKE
Cameron, please…
CAMERON
Stop. Leave her alone.
CAMERON’S SISTER
No. Brooke needs to leave this house.
CAMERON
You don’t have to push her out. Talk to her instead.
CAMERON’S SISTER
I already told her to go home, and she refused.
CAMERON
Then talk to her. Don’t force her.
Cameron steps between his sister and Brooke. Brooke remains behind him, trying to control her emotions.
CAMERON CONFRONTS HIS SISTER
CAMERON’S SISTER
Move, Cameron.
CAMERON
No.
His sister looks shocked that Cameron is standing up to her.
CAMERON’S SISTER
You’re really going to stand there and defend her?
CAMERON
I’m not defending anyone. I’m asking you to calm down.
CAMERON’S SISTER
I am calm!
CAMERON
You’re clearly not.
Silence fills the hallway. Brooke wipes the tears from her face.
CAMERON
Brooke, are you okay?
BROOKE
I’m okay.
A FAMILY CONFRONTATION
Cameron turns back toward his sister. His voice remains controlled, but he is clearly upset by what he has witnessed.
CAMERON
Why do you want her gone so badly?
CAMERON’S SISTER
Because I don’t trust this situation anymore.
CAMERON
What situation?
CAMERON’S SISTER
You know exactly what I mean.
CAMERON
No, I don’t. Explain it to me.
CAMERON’S SISTER
Brooke keeps bringing drama into this house. Every time something happens, everyone gets involved.
BROOKE
I never wanted any drama.
CAMERON’S SISTER
But it keeps happening!
CAMERON
That doesn’t mean you can just throw her out.
CAMERON TAKES A STAND
Cameron’s sister points toward the door, refusing to back down.
CAMERON’S SISTER
She was told to leave.
CAMERON
And I’m telling you to stop.
The two siblings stare at each other. Neither one wants to give in.
CAMERON’S SISTER
You’re making a big mistake, Cameron.
CAMERON
Maybe. But I’m not going to stand here and watch you force her outside.
Brooke looks at Cameron with surprise. She never expected him to take her side.
BROOKE

It’s okay.
Cameron’s sister shakes her head. Her anger slowly turns into concern.

CAMERON

CAMERON
Then protect it without hurting someone who is already struggling.
Brooke lowers her head. Tears roll down her cheeks.
BROOKE
I’m sorry.
CAMERON
You don’t have to apologize for everything.
Cameron’s sister remains firm. She still believes Brooke should leave the house.
CAMERON’S SISTER
I’m not changing my mind.
CAMERON
And I’m not letting you force her out.
Cameron’s sister finally walks away, but before leaving, she turns around with a serious expression.
CAMERON’S SISTER
Fine. But this conversation isn’t over.
BROOKE BREAKS DOWN
Cameron turns toward Brooke. Her emotions finally become too much to hide.
CAMERON
Are you sure you’re okay?
BROOKE
I don’t know what I’m supposed to do anymore.
CAMERON
First, calm down. Then we’ll figure everything out.
Brooke sits back down on the bed. Cameron remains near the doorway, watching her carefully.
Neither of them realizes that Cameron’s sister is standing quietly in the hallway, listening to their conversation.
A SHOCKING PHONE CALL
Later that night, Cameron’s sister sits alone in the living room. She keeps thinking about the confrontation and Cameron’s decision to protect Brooke.
Suddenly, her phone rings.
She looks at the screen before answering. The moment she hears the voice on the other end, her expression changes.
CAMERON’S SISTER
Hello?
She listens silently. Her eyes slowly widen.
CAMERON’S SISTER
Wait… what did you just say?
She stands up immediately. Whatever she has just heard appears to be extremely serious.
Upstairs, Cameron and Brooke have no idea that the phone call may completely change their situation.
