SCENE 1 — ISAIAH’S HOUSE — LIVING ROOM — EVENING
The evening is quiet.
ISAIAH stands near the window, holding his phone tightly in his hand.
His expression is tense.
He looks angry, as if something has been bothering him for a long time.
He scrolls through his contacts and stops on CAMERON’S name.
Isaiah stares at the screen for a moment.
Then he presses CALL.
The phone rings.
Across town, CAMERON is sitting on his couch.
His phone begins to vibrate.
He looks at the screen.
His expression immediately changes when he sees Isaiah’s name.
Cameron hesitates.
Then he answers.
CAMERON
Hello?
There is silence for a moment.
Isaiah takes a slow breath.
His voice is cold.
ISAIAH
Cameron, you need to listen to me.
Cameron sits up straight.
He already senses that something is wrong.
CAMERON
What do you want, Isaiah?
Isaiah walks across the room.
His anger grows.
ISAIAH
You know exactly what you did.
Cameron looks confused.
CAMERON
I don’t know what you’re talking about.
Isaiah stops walking.
His eyes narrow.
ISAIAH
Don’t pretend you don’t know.
Cameron remains silent.
ISAIAH
You haven’t treated me right.
You went behind my back, and now you’re acting like nothing happened.
Cameron shakes his head.
CAMERON
Isaiah, whatever problem you have with me, we can talk about it.
Isaiah’s voice becomes harsher.
ISAIAH
No. You should have thought about that before you crossed me.
Cameron slowly looks toward the door.
He feels uncomfortable.
CAMERON
Are you threatening me?
Isaiah doesn’t answer directly.
ISAIAH
You better watch yourself.
Cameron’s expression becomes serious.
CAMERON
What does that mean?
Isaiah lowers his voice.
ISAIAH
It means you should stay away from me.
And you’d better be careful about what you do next.

Cameron nods.

Yes. I need to report a threat.
The officer becomes more attentive.
OFFICER
Tell me what happened.
Cameron takes out his phone.
CAMERON
Isaiah called me.
He threatened me and told me to watch myself.
The officer listens carefully.
OFFICER
Do you have any evidence?
Cameron immediately shows him the recording.
CAMERON
I recorded the conversation.
The officer listens to part of it.
His expression becomes serious.
Another officer approaches the desk.
SECOND OFFICER

The first officer explains the situation.
Cameron shows the recording again.
The officers exchange a concerned look.

Cameron nods.

Cameron sits across from the officers.
He explains what happened from the beginning.
The officers take notes.

I wasn’t trying to start a fight with him.
I just wanted him to leave me alone.
The officer nods.
OFFICER
And then he called you?
CAMERON
Yes.
He told me I should be careful and that I had better stay away from him.
Cameron looks down at his phone.

Cameron looks relieved.

Who is it?
A voice answers from outside.
OFFICER
Police. Open the door.
Isaiah freezes.
He slowly stands.

Police?
He walks toward the door.
When he opens it, several officers are standing outside.
Cameron is with them.
Isaiah’s eyes widen.

Cameron?
Cameron doesn’t say anything.
He simply looks at Isaiah.
The officer steps forward.
OFFICER
Isaiah, we need to speak with you regarding a threatening phone call.
Isaiah becomes defensive.

What are you talking about?
The officer remains calm.
OFFICER
We have received a complaint and evidence concerning the conversation you had with Cameron.
Isaiah looks directly at Cameron.
ISAIAH
You recorded me?
Cameron finally speaks.
CAMERON
I had no choice.
Isaiah shakes his head.
ISAIAH
You went to the police?
CAMERON
Yes.
Because I didn’t feel safe.
Isaiah’s anger grows.
ISAIAH
I wasn’t going to hurt you.
The officer interrupts.
OFFICER
You can explain everything at the station.
Isaiah looks at the officers.
For the first time, his confidence disappears.
SCENE 6 — ISAIAH’S HOUSE — CONTINUOUS
The officers step inside.
Isaiah remains near the doorway.
Cameron watches silently.
Isaiah looks at him one last time.
ISAIAH
You really did this to me?
Cameron takes a breath.
CAMERON
You did this to yourself when you threatened me.
Isaiah has no response.
The officer speaks firmly.

Isaiah, you’re being taken in for questioning.
Isaiah slowly puts his hands down.
The officers escort him outside.
Cameron follows behind them.

The police vehicle waits outside.

I warned you that I didn’t want trouble.
Isaiah says nothing.
The door closes.

Cameron stands on the sidewalk, watching it disappear into the darkness.
