Wayne Walks In and Calls the Police After Seeing Dan Harassing Lauren

Wayne Arrives at Lauren’s House

The afternoon is quiet outside Lauren’s house. Wayne pulls up in his car and steps out, expecting to have a simple conversation with Lauren.

But as he approaches the front door, he suddenly hears raised voices coming from inside.

Wayne stops and listens for a moment. His expression immediately changes.

He quickly walks toward the house and sees Lauren standing across the room, visibly upset, while Dan is arguing with her.

Wayne immediately steps inside.

WAYNE

“What are you doing? Aren’t you ashamed of the way you’re treating Lauren?”

Wayne looks directly at Dan, clearly shocked by what he is seeing.

Dan turns around and stares at Wayne. For a moment, the room becomes completely silent.

Dan Blames Wayne

DAN

“Wayne, stay out of this. You have no idea what’s been happening between us.”

WAYNE

“I know enough. I walked in and saw how you were treating her.”

Dan shakes his head angrily and points toward Lauren.

DAN

“Wayne, you ruined her.”

DAN

“Ever since you left Lauren, she hasn’t treated me the same. She barely talks to me anymore.”

Wayne looks confused by Dan’s accusation.

DAN

“And now you show up acting like you’re her hero?”

Lauren Finally Speaks Her Heart

Lauren looks toward Wayne. Her eyes are filled with frustration and hurt.

WAYNE

“Lauren, are you okay?”

Lauren slowly looks up. Her voice trembles as she finally responds.

LAUREN

“Wayne…”

LAUREN

“You didn’t treat me right either.”

Wayne becomes silent.

LAUREN

“You left me.”

LAUREN

“And after you left, I was left dealing with everything on my own.”

Wayne’s expression changes. He realizes that Lauren has been carrying a lot of pain.

WAYNE

“Lauren, I know I made mistakes.”

LAUREN

“You don’t understand. You walked away from me and left me to deal with Dan.”

Wayne Confronts Dan

Wayne looks directly at Dan. His expression becomes serious.

WAYNE

“That still doesn’t give you the right to treat her badly.”

DAN

“You think you can just come here and tell me what to do?”

WAYNE

“I’m not here to fight with you.”

Wayne looks toward Lauren.

WAYNE

“I’m here because I can see that something is wrong.”

DAN

“She’s the one who changed everything.”

LAUREN

“No, Dan.”

Lauren finally speaks with confidence.

LAUREN

“I changed because I was tired of being treated like my feelings didn’t matter.”

Wayne Calls the Police

Wayne takes out his phone. Dan immediately notices.

DAN

“What are you doing?”

WAYNE

“I’m calling the police.”

Dan’s expression immediately changes.

DAN

“Wayne, don’t do this.”

Wayne doesn’t respond. He makes the call and explains that there is a serious conflict at the house and that Lauren needs help.

WAYNE

“This isn’t about winning an argument. It’s about making sure Lauren is safe.”

Dan looks away. For the first time, he seems to realize that the situation has gone too far.

The Police Arrive

A few moments later, the sound of a police vehicle can be heard approaching the house.

Dan looks toward the window while Wayne remains beside Lauren.

Officers arrive and begin speaking with everyone separately. Wayne explains what he witnessed, while Lauren gives her side of the story.

The officers make it clear that everyone needs to remain calm and that Lauren’s safety comes first.

Later, Wayne steps outside with Lauren. The tension has finally started to settle.

“I’m sorry.”

LAUREN

“For what?”

“For leaving when I should have handled things differently.”

Lauren looks at him quietly.

LAUREN

“I don’t know if things can ever go back to the way they were.”

WAYNE

“I understand.”

LAUREN

“But today, you came back.”

WAYNE

“And I won’t ignore what I saw.”

Dan Reveals a Shocking Secret

Neither Wayne nor Lauren realizes that the situation is far from over.

Dan watches them from inside the house. His expression is filled with anger and frustration.

As the police continue speaking with him, Dan suddenly says something that catches everyone’s attention.

“There’s something Wayne doesn’t know about Lauren.”

Wayne immediately turns around.

“What are you talking about?”
