Amber’s Jealous Confrontation
Scene 1 — Early Morning
Soft morning light enters through the curtains.
Amber slowly wakes up, still half-asleep. She looks around the room, confused for a moment.
Then she notices something that immediately changes her expression.
Dave and Imani are standing unusually close to each other nearby.
Amber freezes. Her eyes remain fixed on them.
A wave of jealousy and anger crosses her face.
She slowly gets out of bed. Her expression becomes tense as she watches them.
Amber
Dave…
Dave turns toward her. Imani also looks at Amber, immediately sensing the tension.
Amber says nothing for a moment. Instead, she walks toward Imani.
Scene 2 — The Confrontation
Amber approaches Imani with determined steps.
Dave notices Amber’s expression and becomes concerned.
Dave
Amber, wait.
Amber ignores him. She angrily grabs Imani by the collar and pulls her toward the living room.
Imani
Amber, what are you doing?
Dave immediately follows them.
Dave
Amber, stop!
Amber continues walking. Her jealousy has completely taken over her emotions.
Scene 3 — Living Room
Amber brings Imani into the living room and releases her with an angry shove, causing Imani to fall to the floor.
Dave rushes forward.
Amber stands between them, breathing heavily.
Imani
Why are you doing this?
Amber stares at her. Her voice is filled with anger.
Amber
You need to leave this house.
Imani slowly gets herself up.
Imani
Amber, you don’t understand what happened.
Amber
I don’t want to hear it.
A tense silence fills the room.
Dave steps forward.
Dave
Amber, please calm down.
Amber turns toward Dave. Her eyes show that she feels betrayed.
Scene 4 — Amber’s Accusation
Amber points toward the doorway.
Amber
You need to get out of here.
Imani looks toward Dave, unsure what to say.
Amber
If Wayne sent you here, then go back to him.
Imani
That’s not why I’m here.
Amber
I don’t care. You have no reason to come into my house and get this close to my husband.
Dave immediately steps between them.
Dave
Amber, that’s enough.
Amber
You’re defending her?
Dave
I’m trying to stop this from getting worse.
Amber’s anger begins mixing with hurt. She looks away for a moment.
Scene 5 — Dave Steps In
Dave moves toward Imani. Amber watches him carefully.
Dave
Amber, please.
He looks directly at her.
Dave
Let Imani go.
Amber remains silent.
Dave
Amber, Imani ko chhor do, please.
The room falls silent.
Imani looks between them. Amber’s breathing slowly begins to calm.
Scene 6 — Emotions Collide
Amber looks at Dave with disappointment.
Amber
Then tell me the truth.
Dave pauses.
Amber
Why was she here?
Dave looks toward Imani. Imani remains quiet.
Dave
Amber, there’s something you need to understand.
Amber
Then explain it.
Dave
Nothing happened the way you think it did.
Amber
Then why did I find you two together?
Dave struggles to find the right words.
Imani
Amber, I never came here to hurt you.
Amber
But you did.
Imani lowers her eyes.
Scene 7 — The Argument
Amber walks toward the window. She looks outside, trying to control her emotions.
Dave stays beside Imani.
Amber notices and turns around.
Amber
Dave, I trusted you.
Dave looks hurt by her words.
Dave
And I don’t want to lose that trust.
Amber’s expression softens slightly, but the jealousy is still there.
Amber
Then don’t give me a reason to doubt you.
Dave
You’re right.
Imani quietly steps toward the doorway.
Imani
Maybe I should leave.
Dave looks at her. Amber says nothing.
Imani reaches the door and looks back at Amber.
Imani
I’m sorry this happened.
Imani exits.
Scene 8 — Aftermath
The living room becomes completely quiet.
Dave turns toward Amber. Amber stands alone near the window.
Her anger has faded, replaced by sadness and uncertainty.
Dave
Amber…
She doesn’t respond immediately.
Dave
I never wanted you to feel this way.
Amber finally looks at him.
Amber
Then help me understand what happened.
Dave nods slowly.
Dave
I will.
A long silence follows.
Amber looks toward the doorway where Imani disappeared. Then she looks back at Dave.
The tension hasn’t disappeared completely. But for the first time, both of them seem ready to talk rather than fight.
The camera slowly pulls back. The quiet living room remains in frame.
