The house is quiet. D’Nisha sits on the couch, scrolling through her phone. She looks relaxed, completely unaware that someone is about to walk into her life and change the way she sees everything.
A knock comes from the front door.
D’Nisha looks up and slowly gets off the couch. She walks toward the door and opens it.
Amber is standing outside.
D’Nisha immediately notices the serious expression on Amber’s face.

Amber? What are you doing here?
Amber steps inside without saying much. She looks around the room before turning back toward D’Nisha.
