Anthony’s Living Room
The afternoon light falls softly through the large windows of Anthony’s house. The living room is quiet, elegant, and spacious. Anthony stands near the center of the room, holding a thick folder of property documents. Amber stands opposite him, her eyes fixed on the papers. Anthony slowly opens the folder. His expression is serious and controlled. Amber watches carefully as he takes out the documents, barely hiding her excitement.
ANTHONY: These are the property papers. Everything has been prepared.
Amber looks at the documents in disbelief. She slowly reaches forward.
AMBER: I really received all of this?
Anthony gives a small nod.
ANTHONY: Yes. The amount has already been settled, and these documents confirm the property arrangement.
Amber takes the papers from him. Her expression immediately brightens. She looks down at the documents and then back at Anthony. A huge sense of relief washes over her.
AMBER: I honestly didn’t expect it to be this much.
Anthony remains quiet. Amber carefully looks through the pages. Her happiness grows with every page she sees. For the first time in a long while, she feels that everything might finally be going in her favor. She holds the documents close to herself.

ANESHA: Anthony, why does Amber have those papers?
Anthony doesn’t immediately respond. Anesha moves closer. Her eyes remain fixed on the folder. She recognizes the property details. Her anger begins to rise.
ANESHA: Those are my property papers.
Amber looks surprised. She glances down at the documents, then looks at Anthony. For a moment, she seems unsure about what to say.
AMBER: Anthony gave these to me.
Anesha’s expression hardens. She looks at Anthony in disbelief.
ANESHA: You gave them to her?
Anthony takes a breath. He remains calm despite Anesha’s anger.
ANTHONY: Anesha, listen to me.
But Anesha interrupts him. She raises her hand and points directly at Anthony.
ANESHA: No! You listen to me!
The room suddenly becomes tense. Amber takes a small step backward. Anesha’s voice trembles with anger.
ANESHA: Those papers belong to me. How could you just hand them over to Amber?
Anthony looks at her seriously.
ANTHONY: There is a reason I gave them to her.
Anesha shakes her head. She refuses to accept his explanation.
ANESHA: I don’t care what reason you have! Those papers are mine!
The Confrontation
Anthony places his hands calmly at his sides. He looks between Anesha and Amber. Amber holds the property documents tightly, appearing uncomfortable with the sudden confrontation. Anesha turns toward Amber. Her expression is filled with disbelief.
ANESHA: Amber, why are you accepting something that doesn’t belong to you?
Amber looks at her.
AMBER: I didn’t know there was a problem.
Anesha immediately looks back at Anthony.
ANESHA: She didn’t know? Then why didn’t you tell her?
Anthony remains silent for a moment. The tension in the room becomes heavier. Finally, he speaks.
ANTHONY: I made a decision.
Anesha stares at him.
ANESHA: A decision about my property?
Anthony doesn’t answer immediately. That silence tells Anesha enough. Her eyes widen.
ANESHA: I can’t believe you’re doing this.
She takes another step toward him. Her anger is mixed with disappointment.
ANESHA: You knew exactly what those papers meant to me.
Anthony’s expression softens slightly.
ANTHONY: Anesha, I understand why you’re upset.
Anesha shakes her head.
ANESHA: No, you don’t. If you understood, you wouldn’t have given them to her.
Amber looks down at the documents. Her earlier excitement has faded. She realizes that the situation is much more complicated than she first thought.
Amber’s Realization
Amber slowly lowers the papers. She looks at Anthony.
AMBER: Anthony… are you sure these are supposed to be mine?
Anthony looks at her. Before he can answer, Anesha speaks again.
ANESHA: They aren’t. They belong to me.
Amber looks uncomfortable. She takes a deep breath.
AMBER: I didn’t know.
Anesha’s anger pauses for a moment. She looks at Amber and realizes that Amber may not have known the full story. Her attention returns to Anthony.
ANESHA: This isn’t just about money. This is about trust.
The words hang heavily in the room. Anthony looks away for a moment. Amber remains silent. The documents are still in her hands.
The Final Warning
Anesha steps closer to Anthony. Her voice is quieter now, but her anger is still obvious.
ANESHA: Anthony, I want you to tell me the truth. Why are you giving my property papers to Amber?
Anthony pauses. He knows that whatever he says next could change everything. Amber waits silently. Anesha doesn’t move. The room falls completely silent. Anthony finally looks toward the documents.
ANTHONY: I thought this was the right thing to do.
Anesha’s eyes fill with disbelief.
ANESHA: The right thing?
She gives a short, bitter laugh.
ANESHA: You call taking my property away from me the right thing?
Anthony remains silent. Anesha points toward the papers one final time.
ANESHA: Stop this right now. Those papers are mine, and you have no right to simply give them to Amber.
Amber slowly looks at Anthony. Her excitement has completely disappeared. Now, all three stand in silence. The property documents remain at the center of the conflict.
