SCENE 1 — THE BIG SURPRISE
The room is filled with excitement.
Everyone is gathered together, talking and laughing. Anthony stands in the middle of the room, looking unusually nervous.
D’Nisha has no idea what is about to happen.
Anthony takes a deep breath and slowly walks toward D’Nisha while everyone watches.
Anthony smiles nervously. He reaches into his pocket and pulls out a small ring box.
Everyone immediately realizes what is happening. The room becomes quiet.
Anthony slowly gets down on one knee.
Everyone looks at D’Nisha. For a moment, nobody says anything.
People begin smiling and whispering excitedly. Everyone assumes D’Nisha is going to say yes.
SCENE 2 — THE SHOCKING REJECTION
D’Nisha’s expression suddenly changes. Her smile disappears.
She takes a few steps toward Anthony.
The excitement in the room slowly disappears.
D’Nisha stops directly in front of Anthony and reacts angrily, leaving everyone stunned.
Anthony remains frozen. He looks at D’Nisha, completely confused.
Everyone looks at each other in shock.
Anthony looks down at the ring. His hand slowly drops to his side.
SCENE 3 — AMBER’S REACTION
Across the room, Amber has been watching everything.
At first, she looks surprised. Then a small smile appears on her face.
Amber is quietly happy to see D’Nisha reject Anthony.
Shayla looks toward Anthony. He is still standing there, staring at the ring.
Amber and Shayla exchange a look. Both are relieved by what just happened.
SCENE 4 — ANTHONY DEMANDS AN ANSWER
Anthony finally looks back at D’Nisha.
D’Nisha immediately shakes her head.
Everyone listens carefully.
D’Nisha turns around and walks away.
SCENE 5 — THE RING AND THE NEW TWIST
D’Nisha reaches the doorway. She stops for a brief moment but doesn’t turn around.
Anthony remains in the middle of the room.
He slowly looks at the ring.
Anthony closes the ring box.
Nobody responds.
Amber looks at Shayla. Shayla quietly shakes her head.
Anthony looks toward the doorway where D’Nisha disappeared.
His sadness begins turning into determination.
Anthony walks toward the doorway.
But before he can leave, his phone begins ringing.
Anthony looks at the screen. His expression suddenly changes.
He listens quietly.
Amber looks confused.
Anthony ends the call and slowly looks at Amber.
Amber’s smile disappears. Shayla watches Anthony carefully.
Anthony puts the rejected engagement ring back into his pocket.
D’Nisha has walked away, but now a completely different mystery has begun.
