SCENE 1 — THE BEACH
EXT. BEACH — LATE AFTERNOON
Golden sunlight shines across the ocean as Omini walks peacefully along the beach. The sound of the waves fills the air while a gentle breeze moves through her hair.
Anthony is nearby when he suddenly notices Omini for the first time. He stops walking and stares at her, completely captivated.
ANTHONY
Who is she?
Anthony watches Omini smile. Something about her immediately catches his attention. He cannot explain the feeling, but his heart begins racing.
Omini walks away from the beach, unaware that Anthony has already fallen for her.
SCENE 2 — OMINI’S ROOM
INT. OMINI’S ROOM — MOMENTS LATER
Omini enters her room and places her belongings down. A moment later, Anthony appears at the doorway.
Omini turns around, surprised.
OMINI
Anthony? What are you doing here?
ANTHONY
I just wanted to talk to you.
Omini looks at him curiously.
OMINI
About what?
Anthony takes a small step closer.
ANTHONY
I don’t know how to explain it. The moment I saw you at the beach, something felt different.
Omini smiles softly.
OMINI
You barely know me.
ANTHONY
Maybe. But sometimes you don’t need to know someone for your heart to notice them.
The words touch Omini. The two share a quiet, emotional moment. Their hands meet, and they smile at each other.
For a moment, everything feels perfect.
SCENE 3 — D’NISHA FOLLOWS
INT. HALLWAY — SAME TIME
D’Nisha has been following Anthony. She walks through the hallway, wondering where he is going.
She suddenly sees Anthony entering Omini’s room.
Her expression changes.
D’NISHA
Anthony… why did you come here?
D’Nisha slowly approaches the door. She hesitates before placing her hand on the handle.
After a long pause, she opens the door.
SCENE 4 — THE HEARTBREAK
INT. OMINI’S ROOM — CONTINUOUS
The door suddenly opens.
Anthony and Omini immediately turn toward the doorway.
D’Nisha stands frozen.
Her eyes move from Anthony to Omini. She sees them together, and the happiness disappears from her face.
D’NISHA
Anthony…
Anthony quickly stands up.
ANTHONY
D’Nisha?!
Omini looks shocked.
OMINI
D’Nisha, wait…
D’Nisha takes a step backward. Tears begin filling her eyes.
D’NISHA
What… what is this?
Anthony struggles to find the right words.
ANTHONY
It’s not what you think.
D’Nisha shakes her head as a tear rolls down her cheek.
D’NISHA
Then what am I supposed to think?
The room becomes completely silent.
D’NISHA
I trusted you.
Her voice breaks.
Omini looks deeply uncomfortable and emotional.
OMINI
D’Nisha, nothing was meant to hurt you.
D’NISHA
But it does hurt.
SCENE 5 — ANTHONY’S REGRET
Anthony steps toward D’Nisha, but she immediately moves away.
ANTHONY
D’Nisha, please listen to me.
D’NISHA
I can’t do this right now.
D’Nisha turns around and walks away.
Anthony remains frozen near the doorway. He watches her disappear down the hallway, realizing how badly she has been hurt.
Omini looks at Anthony.
OMINI
You should go after her.
Anthony looks toward the hallway.
ANTHONY
I know. But I don’t even know what to say.
OMINI
Then tell her the truth.
SCENE 6 — D’NISHA BREAKS DOWN
INT. HALLWAY — MOMENTS LATER
D’Nisha walks quickly, trying desperately to control her emotions.
But the tears keep coming.
She stops against the wall and covers her face.
D’NISHA
Why, Anthony?
Her voice echoes through the quiet hallway.
Anthony comes looking for her.
ANTHONY
D’Nisha! Please!
D’Nisha hears him but refuses to turn around.
Anthony finally stops.
He realizes she needs time.
FINAL SCENE — A PAINFUL NIGHT
INT. D’NISHA’S ROOM — NIGHT
D’Nisha sits alone on her bed, staring at her phone.
Anthony’s name appears on the screen.
The phone keeps ringing.
D’Nisha watches it through tear-filled eyes.
After a long moment, she turns the phone face down.
D’NISHA
I need to know the truth…
She looks toward the window.
In the distance, the sound of the ocean can still be heard.
