A Dramatic Story

Amber, Dave & Anthony

A story about trust, fear, courage, difficult choices, and the moment when someone finally finds the strength to stand up for herself.

Chapter 01

A Feeling That Something Was Wrong

Amber had been uneasy from the moment Anthony asked her to come over. He had called her earlier that evening, insisting that they needed to talk privately.

His voice sounded unusually serious. Although Amber did not completely trust the situation, she agreed to meet him. She told herself that maybe Anthony simply wanted to explain something that had been bothering him.

When Amber arrived, however, she immediately noticed that something felt wrong.

Anthony welcomed her inside and closed the door behind her. At first, he acted calm, but his behavior quickly became controlling.

He kept trying to convince Amber to stay even though she repeatedly made it clear that she was uncomfortable.

Amber: “I don’t think I should be here.”

Anthony stepped closer.

Anthony: “Just relax. You’re making this a bigger deal than it is.”

Amber shook her head and moved toward the door.

Amber: “No. I said I want to leave.”

Anthony’s expression changed.

For the first time, Amber realized that this was not the conversation she had expected. She reached for the door, but Anthony tried to stop her.

Amber: “Anthony, move.”
Chapter 02

Dave Starts to Worry

Across town, Dave had been trying to contact Amber.

He had called her several times, but she wasn’t answering. At first, Dave assumed she was simply busy. But as the minutes passed, his concern grew.

Something Didn’t Feel Right

Dave remembered that Amber had mentioned Anthony earlier. She had told him that Anthony wanted to speak with her, but she hadn’t expected to be gone this long.

Dave tried calling again.

Still nothing.

He grabbed his keys and decided to check on her.

When Dave arrived at Anthony’s place, he noticed Amber’s car outside.

His concern immediately turned into suspicion.

Dave knocked.

There was no answer.

He knocked again.

Dave: “Amber?”

Inside, Amber heard Dave’s voice.

Her eyes widened with relief.

Amber: “Dave!”
Chapter 03

The Confrontation

Anthony suddenly looked toward the door.

Anthony: “What is he doing here?”

Amber moved toward the entrance.

Amber: “Dave, please help me!”

Dave heard her clearly.

Dave: “Amber, are you okay?”

Anthony tried to prevent Amber from reaching the door, but Dave pushed his way inside after realizing that something was seriously wrong.

The moment Dave saw Amber’s frightened expression, he became furious.

Dave: “Anthony, what did you do?”

Anthony tried to act confident.

Anthony: “This isn’t your business.”

Dave stepped between Anthony and Amber.

Dave: “It became my business when she asked for help.”

Amber quickly moved behind Dave.

Anthony continued arguing, insisting that Dave had misunderstood the situation.

But Dave wasn’t interested in excuses.

Dave: “You need to back away from her.”

Anthony refused.

The argument became louder.

Dave: “You always think you can control everything. But you’re not going to control Amber.”

Anthony suddenly shoved Dave.

Dave stumbled backward, then regained his balance. For a moment, both men stared at each other.

Amber immediately stepped forward.

Amber: “Dave, don’t. Just get me out of here.”

Anthony moved toward Dave again. Dave defended himself, and the two men briefly struggled before Dave pushed Anthony away.

Dave: “Stay back.”

The Moment Everything Stopped

Amber’s voice suddenly cut through the room. Both men stopped and looked toward her.

Amber: “That’s enough!”
Chapter 04

Amber Makes Her Decision

Amber stood near the doorway, visibly shaken but determined.

Amber: “I’m leaving, and nobody is stopping me.”

Dave looked at Amber and nodded.

Dave: “Let’s go.”

Anthony tried one last time to argue.

Anthony: “Amber, you’re making a mistake!”

Amber turned around.

Amber: “No, Anthony. The mistake was trusting you.”

Those words silenced him.

Dave opened the door and allowed Amber to walk out first.

Once they were outside, Amber took a deep breath.

For several seconds, neither of them spoke.

Dave: “Are you okay?”
Amber: “I think so.”
Chapter 05

The Morning After

Dave looked back toward the house.

Dave: “I shouldn’t have let my anger take over in there.”

Amber understood why he had reacted so strongly, but she also knew the situation could have become much worse.

Amber: “You came when I needed help. That’s what matters.”

Dave nodded.

Dave: “I was scared something had happened to
