Scene 1: Amber Starts Another Argument
Amber stands in the living room with Dev when the conversation suddenly turns into an argument about Evelyn. Frustrated and angry, she begins questioning the way men treat women.
Amber: You know what, Dev? I’m tired of all of you men. Every single one of you is exactly the same!
Dev: Amber, what are you talking about? Why are you bringing this up again?
Amber: Because I’m finally starting to understand the truth about men like you!
Scene 2: Amber Brings Up Evelyn
Amber mentions Evelyn and accuses Dev of being no different from the men who have disappointed the women around them.
Amber: Look at Evelyn! Look at Wayne! Look at Anthony! They all have their excuses, and now you’re standing here pretending you’re different!
Dev: Amber, please calm down. You cannot compare every situation. I’m not Wayne, and I’m certainly not Anthony.
Amber: That’s exactly what every man says before he disappoints you!
Scene 3: Amber Loses Faith in Men
Amber folds her arms and shakes her head, convinced that every promise of love eventually leads to disappointment.
Amber: I’ve completely lost my trust in men. They promise love, they talk about commitment, and then they do whatever they want!
Dev: You know I’ve been honest with you. Why are you treating me as if I’ve already betrayed you?
Amber: Because I know how this story ends, Dev. I’ve seen it happen too many times!
Scene 4: Dev Tries to Calm Her Down
Dev takes a deep breath and speaks gently, hoping to prevent another argument from destroying their relationship.
Dev: Amber, look at me. I’m here with you because I want to be here. I’m not pretending to care about you.
Amber: Words are easy, Dev. Anyone can say those things!
Dev: Then judge me by my actions. Give me a chance to show you who I really am instead of punishing me for what someone else has done.
Amber becomes quiet for a moment, but her frustration soon returns.
Scene 5: Amber Secretly Expects a Proposal
What Dev doesn’t realize is that Amber has been imagining their future together. She keeps wondering when he will finally propose and ask her to become his wife.
Amber: You keep telling me that you’re serious about me, but what does that actually mean?
Dev: It means I care about you, Amber. It means I want us to have a good relationship.
Amber: And that’s all? You expect me to be satisfied with that?
Dev looks confused. Amber wants a commitment, but she refuses to explain exactly what she expects from him.
Scene 6: The Marriage Question
Amber’s frustration grows because she wants Dev to discuss marriage. However, Dev has no immediate plan to propose and doesn’t want to make promises under pressure.
Amber: How long do you expect me to wait? How long are we supposed to keep doing this without knowing where we’re going?
Dev: Amber, we’ve never agreed on a timeline for marriage. I don’t want to make a promise just because we’re arguing.
Amber: So now you’re telling me that you don’t know what you want?
Dev: I’m telling you that I want an honest conversation, not another fight.
Scene 7: Amber Compares Him to Anthony and Wayne
Amber brings up Anthony and Wayne again, refusing to accept Dev’s explanation.
Amber: You’re just like Anthony! And you’re no better than Wayne! You all know how to make a woman believe she’s special until she starts asking for something real!
Dev: Stop comparing me to other people. If you have a problem with me, talk to me about me!
Amber: Why? So you can give me another excuse?
Dev: No, Amber! So we can actually solve something instead of tearing each other apart!
Scene 8: Dev Explains His Feelings
Dev tries one more time to explain that being sincere doesn’t mean he can agree to every expectation without discussing it.
Dev: I care about you, but I cannot read your mind. If you want marriage, tell me honestly. If you need reassurance, tell me that too. But don’t turn every conversation into an accusation.
Amber: I’ve told you what I want! I want a man who knows my worth and isn’t afraid to commit!
Dev: And I want a relationship where we can talk without attacking each other.
Neither of them is willing to back down, and the tension in the room continues to rise.
Scene 9: Amber Pushes Dev Too Far
Amber continues shouting, accusing Dev of wasting her time and refusing to give her the future she imagined.
Amber: Maybe you’re just like the rest of them! Maybe you never intended to marry me in the first place!
Dev: You cannot keep accusing me of things I’ve never promised or done!
Amber: Then prove me wrong! Tell me when you’re going to marry me!
Dev falls silent. His silence only makes Amber more upset, and he realizes that their argument has reached a breaking point.
Scene 10: Dev Finally Loses His Temper
After repeated attempts to calm the situation, Dev loses his temper. During the heated argument, he suddenly slaps Amber once. She freezes, shocked by what has happened.
Amber: Dev… did you really just do that?
Dev immediately steps away. The room falls silent as Amber looks at him in disbelief. The argument has crossed a line neither of them can simply ignore.
Dev: I can’t do this anymore, Amber. Every conversation turns into another fight, and I’m done with this relationship.
Scene 11: Dev Walks Out
Dev heads toward the front door. Amber follows him, still struggling to process what has happened.
Amber: Where are you going? You’re just going to leave me here?
Dev: I’m leaving because I cannot continue like this. I need you to understand that this relationship is over.
Amber: Dev, wait! You can’t just walk away!
Dev: I’ve made my decision. Don’t expect me to come back this time.
Dev walks out and closes the door behind him. Amber stands motionless, staring at the door as the reality of his departure begins to sink in.
Scene 12: Amber Breaks Down in Tears
The moment Dev leaves, Amber’s anger gives way to shock and sadness. She sits down on the sofa and begins crying, unable to believe that their relationship has ended so suddenly.
Amber: I never thought he would actually leave me. I thought he would understand what I wanted. I never thought things would end like this!
She looks at her phone, hoping Dev will call or send a message, but the screen remains silent.
Amber finally realizes that the future she imagined with Dev may never happen. Yet beneath her tears, one question remains: will Dev ever return, or has she lost him forever?
