When Shayla finally learned that the group was meeting to discuss their podcast contracts, her anger reached another level. She felt humiliated because nobody had invited her or even explained why she was being excluded. Of course, it is important when everybody gets invited except me!” she shouted. Amber exchanged a confused glance with Dave, while D’Nisha tried to understand what had triggered Shayla’s sudden outburst. Wayne attempted to explain that the meeting concerned specific business arrangements, but Shayla was no longer interested in hearing his explanation.

“You all think you can leave me behind and celebrate like nothing happened!” Shayla exclaimed. “You are making plans together, signing contracts, and building a podcast, but nobody even thought about me.” Dave calmly responded, “Shayla, this is a business decision. Nobody came here to attack you or make you feel unwanted.” His explanation only made her angrier. She believed that everyone was making excuses instead of acknowledging her feelings. Amber tried to intervene, saying, “If you are upset about not being invited, we can discuss it. But coming in here and shouting is not going to solve anything.” Shayla ignored her words and continued accusing the group of deliberately excluding her from their plans.

Then, in a shocking moment, Shayla grabbed a glass of water and threw the water over Wayne, Amber, Dave, and D’Nisha. The room erupted in confusion as everyone reacted to the unexpected splash. Amber jumped back in disbelief, Dave quickly stood up from the couch, and D’Nisha stared at Shayla, unable to believe what had just happened. Wayne wiped the water from his face and looked at Shayla with obvious anger. “Have you completely lost your mind?” he demanded. “Who gave you the right to come into this meeting and do something like this?” Nobody had expected their business discussion to turn into such a chaotic confrontation. What had started as a promising opportunity had suddenly become an embarrassing and deeply upsetting situation.

Everyone Tries to Stop Her

Shayla continued shouting, moving around the room and making increasingly dramatic gestures as the others tried to stop the confrontation from escalating. “Now you all know how it feels to leave somebody out!” she yelled. Amber firmly replied, “This is not how you get respect, Shayla. You cannot punish everyone because you did not get the invitation you wanted.” Dave tried to calm the situation, asking her to put down the glass and listen to what they were saying. D’Nisha also urged Shayla to take a breath and stop creating more problems. However, Shayla remained convinced that everyone was against her. Her behavior had turned a disagreement over a podcast opportunity into a serious conflict that nobody could ignore.

Finally, Wayne stepped forward and made it clear that he had reached his limit. “I understand that you are upset, but what you have done is unacceptable,” he said firmly. “We were having a business meeting, and you came in here and deliberately threw water on everyone. You cannot behave like this and expect us to pretend nothing happened.” Shayla tried to defend herself, insisting that the group had pushed her to this point by excluding her. Wayne shook his head and replied, “Nobody forced you to do this. You are responsible for your own actions.” He then told the others that, given the seriousness of the incident, they should contact the police and let the authorities handle the situation.

Amber, Dave, and D’Nisha remained stunned as the meeting came to an abrupt end.
