Some dreams are worth fighting for. Some offers reveal the darkest truth about the people we trust. And sometimes, the person calling you at the worst possible moment knows more than you think.
Dinisha is offered the dream job she has always wanted—but the price Wayne demands could destroy her dignity, her relationship, and everything she believes in.
Scene 01 — The Dream
The golden sunlight slipped through the curtains, spreading across Dinisha’s quiet living room. She sat on the sofa with a notebook resting on her lap.
Its pages were filled with television ideas, interview plans, and goals she had chased for years. At the top, one sentence stood out:
“One day, I will lead a broadcast network of my own.”
She smiled at the words, unaware that an unexpected visitor was about to test how much that dream meant to her.
Scene 02 — Wayne’s Visit
A knock interrupted her thoughts. When Dinisha opened the door, Wayne stood outside in an expensive suit, wearing the confident smile of a man used to getting what he wanted.
Wayne glanced at her notebook. A faint smile appeared on his face.
Scene 03 — The Offer
Wayne sat down and spoke as if he were offering her the most natural thing in the world.
Dinisha stared at him, unable to believe what she had heard. For years she had imagined this moment. Now the opportunity seemed close enough to touch.
Scene 04 — The Condition
Wayne’s smile widened, then he raised one finger. Before the appointment could become official, he said, there was one condition.
The words hung in the air. Dinisha searched his face for a sign that he was joking, but there was none.
Scene 05 — The Price
Wayne called it a personal arrangement: she would get the career she wanted, and he would get something in return. Dinisha’s excitement vanished, replaced by disbelief and anger.
Then Wayne made his demand even worse.
Scene 06 — Dinisha’s Choice
Anthony was the man Dinisha loved—the person she trusted with her hopes and her future. Wayne was asking her to betray both her principles and someone who had never deserved such treatment.
When Wayne insisted that everyone made compromises, Dinisha finally understood what kind of man he was. She slapped him across the face.
Scene 07 — A Threat at the Door
Wayne warned her that she would regret refusing him. Dinisha pointed to the door and told him never to return with an offer like that again.
After he left, she sat beside her notebook and held it against her chest.
Then her phone rang. Anthony’s name appeared on the screen, and for the first time since Wayne’s visit, she felt a small sense of relief.
Scene 08 — Anthony’s Call
Anthony stood by his office window, staring at a document he had received that afternoon. He sounded tense when Dinisha answered.
Dinisha froze. Anthony somehow knew about the visit—and then asked whether Wayne had offered her the position.
Scene 09 — The Document
Anthony asked whether Wayne had mentioned his name. Dinisha told him about the secrecy Wayne had demanded, and Anthony warned her not to contact Wayne until he understood what was happening.
Anthony hesitated. Then he revealed the detail that made her go still.
Scene 10 — The Shocking Twist
Before Anthony could explain what the document said, someone knocked at his office door. His assistant announced that an urgent visitor had arrived—someone Anthony would recognize.
The door opened. Anthony’s eyes widened as he saw who was standing there.
He stared at the unexpected visitor and whispered four words:
