HOPE AND FAITH EXPOSE MARYA’S PREGNANCY — LARRY ATTACKS ISAIAH IN A SHOCKING FAMILY CONFRONTATION!
Hope and Faith stood in front of Marya, watching her nervously as she tried to avoid their questions. They had noticed her unusual behavior for days, and now they were determined to make her face the truth. Marya looked frightened, clutching her hands together as Hope stepped closer.
HOPE: Marya, how long are you going to keep pretending that everything is fine? We know something is going on with you.
MARYA: I don’t know what you’re talking about. Please, just leave me alone.
FAITH: Stop avoiding the question. You’re pregnant, aren’t you?
Marya’s face changed instantly. She looked from Hope to Faith, unable to find the words to defend herself. Her silence gave them the answer they had been waiting for.
HOPE: Oh my God, Marya. It’s true!
MARYA: Please don’t shout! I haven’t figured out what I’m going to do yet.
FAITH: Then you need to tell Isaiah and Brooke. They deserve to know what’s happening, especially if this pregnancy is going to affect their lives.
Marya shook her head, her eyes filling with tears.
MARYA: You don’t understand. Everything is already complicated enough. If I tell Isaiah, he’ll want answers, and if Larry finds out, he’ll make this situation worse.
HOPE: Larry is going to find out eventually. You can’t hide something this important forever.
FAITH: Hope is right. You need to be honest with Isaiah and Brooke before somebody else tells them.
Marya lowered her eyes. She knew Hope and Faith were right, but the thought of Larry discovering her pregnancy terrified her. She could already imagine his anger and the accusations he would make. Instead of confronting the situation herself, she reached for her phone and stared at Larry’s contact.
MARYA: Maybe I should talk to Larry first.
HOPE: Marya, think carefully before you do that. You don’t know how he’ll react.
MARYA: I can’t keep living like this. Someone has to do something.
Before either sister could stop her, Marya called Larry.
Across town, Larry was sitting in his living room when his phone began ringing. He answered immediately, irritated by the unexpected call.
LARRY: Marya? What is it? I’m busy.
MARYA: Larry, I need to talk to you about something important. It’s about Isaiah and Brooke.
Larry’s expression hardened as soon as he heard their names.
LARRY: What has Isaiah done now?
MARYA: You need to keep Isaiah away from Brooke. Their relationship is becoming a problem, and I don’t want them getting any closer.
LARRY: I’ve already told Isaiah to stay away from her. Apparently, he hasn’t learned to listen.
MARYA: Larry, please. You need to handle this before things get out of control.
Larry stood up, his anger growing.
LARRY: Don’t worry. I’ll deal with Isaiah myself. He seems to think he can do whatever he wants, but he’s about to learn that he cannot disrespect my family.
Marya hesitated, wanting to tell him about the pregnancy. But before she could gather her courage, Larry ended the call.
She stared at her phone, feeling a wave of regret.
FAITH: Did you tell him?
MARYA: No. I told him to keep Isaiah away from Brooke, but I couldn’t tell him about the pregnancy.
HOPE: Marya, you can’t keep running away from this.
MARYA: I know. But now Larry is angry, and I have a terrible feeling that something bad is going to happen.
At Larry’s house, his frustration had reached its limit. He paced across the living room, replaying Marya’s words in his mind. He believed Isaiah was ignoring his warnings and pulling Brooke deeper into a relationship Larry did not approve of.
Larry grabbed his phone and called Isaiah.
LARRY: I want you and Brooke at my house. Both of you. Now.
ISAIAH: Why? What’s going on?
LARRY: Don’t question me. Get here if you know what’s good for you.
ISAIAH: Larry, I’m not going to come over just because you’re angry. If there’s something you want to discuss, you can tell me over the phone.
LARRY: You have five minutes to get here.
Larry disconnected the call before Isaiah could respond.
When Isaiah told Brooke what had happened, she immediately became concerned.
BROOKE: What does he want now? You haven’t done anything wrong.
ISAIAH: I don’t know. Marya called him earlier, and now he suddenly wants to see both of us.
Brooke’s eyes widened.
BROOKE: Marya called Larry? Why would she do that?
ISAIAH: That’s what I’m trying to figure out. Something isn’t right.
BROOKE: Then I’m coming with you. Whatever happens, I won’t let him blame everything on you.
Isaiah looked at her with concern.
ISAIAH: Brooke, I don’t want you caught in the middle of another argument with Larry.
BROOKE: And I don’t want you facing him alone. We’re going together.
They arrived at Larry’s house a short time later. Larry was waiting in the living room, his expression cold and his arms folded across his chest.
LARRY: Sit down.
Neither Isaiah nor Brooke moved.
ISAIAH: You called us here. Tell us what this is about.
Larry stepped toward him.
LARRY: I’ll tell you what it’s about. It’s about you refusing to stay away from Brooke after I’ve warned you repeatedly.
BROOKE: Larry, stop treating Isaiah like he’s the only person who makes decisions. I’m here because I want to be with him.
LARRY: Nobody asked you to speak!
BROOKE: You called both of us here. You don’t get to demand that I stay silent.
Larry turned toward Isaiah, his face tightening with anger.
LARRY: You think you’re going to walk into my family and do whatever you want? You think my warnings mean nothing?
ISAIAH: I respect you, but you can’t control every decision Brooke makes. She has feelings, and so do I.
LARRY: You have no idea what you’re getting yourself into!
ISAIAH: Then explain it to me instead of threatening me every time you see us together.
For a moment, the room fell silent. Larry’s jaw tightened. He had expected Isaiah to back down, not challenge him in his own home.
Then Larry suddenly shoved Isaiah backward.
Brooke gasped as Isaiah stumbled and caught himself against the edge of a chair.
BROOKE: Larry! What are you doing?
ISAIAH: Don’t touch me again. I’m here to talk, not fight.
Larry ignored him and lunged forward, striking him. Isaiah tried to protect himself as Larry continued attacking him, while Brooke rushed between them, desperately trying to stop the confrontation.
BROOKE: STOP IT! Larry, please! You’re going too far!
LARRY: Get out of the way, Brooke! This is between me and him!
BROOKE: No! You invited us here, and now you’re attacking him! How can you expect me to respect you when you behave like this?
Isaiah finally managed to step away, breathing heavily as Brooke stood in front of him.
ISAIAH: Brooke, move back. I don’t want you getting hurt.
BROOKE: I’m not leaving you here with him.
Larry pointed angrily at Isaiah.
LARRY: You will stay away from Brooke. If I ever see you with her again, you’ll regret ignoring me!
ISAIAH: You can threaten me all you want, but you cannot force Brooke to stop caring about me.
Larry raised his hand again, but Brooke grabbed his arm before he could strike.
BROOKE: That’s enough! If you want to blame someone, blame me. I’m the one choosing to be with Isaiah.
Larry stared at her in disbelief.
LARRY: After everything I’ve done for you, you’re choosing him over your own family?
BROOKE: I’m asking you to stop hurting people who haven’t done anything to deserve this.
Before Larry could respond, his phone rang. He glanced at the screen and answered with an impatient expression.
It was Marya.
LARRY: What now, Marya? I’m dealing with Isaiah.
Marya’s trembling voice came through the phone.
MARYA: Larry, there’s something I need to tell you. Something I should have told you earlier.
LARRY: Not now!
MARYA: You have to listen to me. I’m pregnant.
Larry froze.
Brooke slowly turned toward him, while Isaiah stared in confusion. For several seconds, Larry didn’t speak. The anger on his face gave way to shock, and then his eyes narrowed as he processed Marya’s words.
LARRY: What did you just say?
MARYA: I’m pregnant, Larry. Hope and Faith found out, and I couldn’t keep it a secret anymore.
Larry lowered the phone slightly, looking at Isaiah as if he had suddenly discovered another reason to blame him.
LARRY: You’re pregnant?
MARYA: Yes. Please, Larry, I need you to calm down and listen to me.
But Larry was no longer listening. He ended the call and turned toward Isaiah.
LARRY: So this is what you’ve all been hiding from me?
ISAIAH: What are you talking about? I just found out about this!
BROOKE: Larry, Marya’s pregnancy has nothing to do with Isaiah being here. Stop looking for someone to blame!
Larry stepped closer to Isaiah, his voice shaking with rage.
LARRY: You expect me to believe that? First, you refuse to stay away from Brooke, and now Marya is pregnant!
ISAIAH: I don’t know anything about Marya’s pregnancy. You need to ask her what happened instead of attacking me!
Larry clenched his fists as Brooke reached for Isaiah’s hand.
BROOKE: We’re leaving. I won’t stand here while you keep threatening him.
She pulled Isaiah toward the door, but Larry’s next words stopped them both.
LARRY: If you walk out of this house with him, Brooke, don’t expect me to welcome either of you back!
Brooke turned around, tears gathering in her eyes.
BROOKE: Maybe you should ask yourself why your own family is afraid to tell you the truth.
She opened the door, but before she and Isaiah could leave, Larry’s phone rang again. This time, the caller was Marya.
Larry answered, and her desperate voice filled the room.
MARYA: Larry, please don’t do anything to Isaiah. There’s something else you need to know about this pregnancy, and you must hear it from me before you make another mistake.
Larry stared at Isaiah, then at Brooke, his expression darkening.
LARRY: What else haven’t you told me, Marya?
The line went silent for a moment. Then Marya whispered four words that made Larry’s entire expression change.
MARYA: Isaiah already knows the truth.
Larry slowly lowered the phone and looked directly at Isaiah.
LARRY: You’d better start talking. Right now.
