Purnell: “I heard you’ve been getting a little too comfortable around Jade. What’s that about?”
Larry: “Hold on. Who told you that?”
Purnell: “Does it matter who told me? The question is why you’re developing feelings for somebody you know I care about.”
Larry stared at him for a moment before laughing sarcastically.
Larry: “You care about Jade? Since when did you become the relationship police?”
Purnell: “Don’t try to make this funny, Larry. I’m serious.”
Larry: “Well, maybe you should be asking Jade what’s going on instead of coming over here trying to intimidate me.”

😳 Bethany Walks Into the Drama
At that moment, Bethany walked into the room. She immediately sensed that something was wrong.
Bethany: “Wait a minute! What’s happening in here? Why are both of you standing around looking like you’re about to fight?”
Purnell: “Ask your husband why he thinks he can go after Jade when he knows I have feelings for her.”
Bethany turned toward Larry in complete disbelief.
Bethany: “Excuse me? What did you just say?”
Larry: “Here we go. Now everybody wants to make this my fault.”
Bethany: “Larry, don’t start with me. What does Jade have to do with all of this?”
Purnell: “Apparently, your husband has been developing feelings for her. And Jade already told me everything.”
Bethany: “Larry, please tell me this isn’t what I think it is.”
Larry: “Bethany, listen. This man came in here accusing me of something, and I’m not about to let him disrespect me.”
💥 The Argument Turns Into a Showdown
Purnell moved closer again. Larry wasn’t backing down either. Their voices became louder, and the tension in the room reached another level.
Purnell: “You keep talking like you don’t know what I’m talking about. But I know exactly what’s going on.”
Larry: “Then why don’t you do something about it instead of running your mouth?”
Suddenly, both men were face-to-face. Bethany quickly stepped between them.
Bethany: “HEY! Both of you need to back up! This is not happening in front of me!”
Purnell: “Move out of the way, Bethany. I need to settle something with him.”
Bethany: “You’re not settling anything! You’re two grown men acting like children over a woman!”

Bethany pushed her hands against their chests, desperately trying to create some distance.
Bethany: “Oh my goodness! Can somebody please tell me why this is turning into a fight?”

But there was someone else in the room who was enjoying every second of it.
Jade.
She was standing a few steps behind them, watching the entire confrontation unfold. Unlike Bethany, who was becoming increasingly frustrated, Jade had a huge smile on her face.
She covered her mouth with one hand, trying to hide her laughter. She couldn’t believe how quickly her little secret had turned into a full-blown confrontation.
Jade: “Oh my goodness. I cannot believe they’re actually arguing about me.”
Jade: “I knew this was going to happen. I just didn’t think it would happen this fast.”
She watched Larry point his finger at Purnell while Bethany continued trying to separate them.

Meanwhile, Bethany finally noticed Jade standing behind them.
Bethany: “JADE! Are you seriously standing back there laughing? Do you understand what’s happening right now?”

Bethany: “You’re just standing there? These two men are about to tear this whole room apart, and you’re standing there smiling?”
Jade: “Well, I didn’t tell anybody to fight.”
Purnell turned around, his frustration now directed toward Jade.
Purnell: “Jade, you need to explain something to me. Did you tell Larry that I have feelings for you?”
Jade paused. Larry immediately looked at her.
Larry: “Wait. You told him that I have feelings for you?”
Jade: “I mean, I wasn’t trying to start anything. I was just being honest with both of you.”
Purnell: “Honest? You told me Larry was catching feelings for you, and then you told him I was interested in you. What exactly were you expecting to happen?”
Jade: “I didn’t know y’all were going to take it this seriously.”

Larry stepped forward again, but Bethany immediately blocked him.

Jade: “That’s not true. Maybe they both need to figure out what they actually want.”

Purnell looked at Jade, clearly frustrated.
Purnell: “So you’re saying you want both of us?”
The room suddenly went quiet. Larry stopped talking. Bethany slowly turned toward Jade.

Purnell: “You really want to keep testing me?”
Bethany: “Larry! Enough! You’re making this situation ten times worse!”

Jade stood behind them, watching the argument intensify. Her smile slowly returned as she realized neither man was willing to back down.
But suddenly, Purnell said something that nobody in the room expected.
Purnell: “You know what? I’m done arguing. Jade, I’m going to ask you one question, and I want an honest answer. If Larry wasn’t in the picture, would you give me a chance?”
Larry immediately turned toward Jade. Bethany stopped moving. Jade’s expression changed as she realized that this time she couldn’t simply laugh, change the subject, or walk away.

Jade: “Well… since you both want the truth, there’s something else I haven’t told either of you.”
