Omni Gets a Painful Reality Check!
1. Dave’s Biggest Fear
Dave had started noticing that something was changing between him and Amber. He knew that Omni’s presence was creating unnecessary tension in their relationship. Although Amber had not always openly expressed her concerns, Dave could see that she was becoming uncomfortable whenever Omni came around. The following morning, Amber and Dave were spending some beautiful moments together before the workday became busy. They were standing close to each other, exchanging loving smiles and enjoying their romantic time. Dave appeared completely relaxed around Amber. He held her affectionately and made her laugh. 5. Amber Gets Angry at Omni
While enjoying her romantic moment with Dave, Amber suddenly noticed Omni standing nearby. Her smile disappeared immediately. Instead of asking Omni what the business issue was, he looked at her angrily. He told Omni that she was not understanding what Amber was saying. Dave made it clear that he wanted her to follow Amber’s instructions. “Do what Amber is telling you. I don’t have anything important to discuss with you right now. You can wait outside, and when I am free, I’ll listen to what you have to say,” Dave said firmly. Omni was shocked by his response. She had probably expected Dave to give her a little attention or at least ask about the business matter. Instead, he was openly supporting Amber and making it clear that Amber’s wishes came first. For Omni, this was a painful moment. She had seen Dave being affectionate with Amber, but hearing him defend Amber so strongly made the reality even clearer. Without arguing further, Omni quietly turned around and walked away.
