Anthony & D’Nisha – Cinematic Story

When Anthony Tells D’Nisha He’s Spending the Night at Amber’s!

SCENE 1 – ANTHONY REVEALS HIS PLANS

The evening is peaceful, but D’Nisha has no idea that Anthony is about to tell her something that will completely change her mood. Anthony is getting ready to leave, checking his phone and gathering his belongings. D’Nisha notices that he seems unusually busy.

She watches him for a moment before finally deciding to ask where he is going.

D’Nisha:
“Where are you going? You’ve been getting ready for a while, and you haven’t even told me what’s going on.”

Anthony briefly looks at her while checking his phone. He doesn’t seem particularly concerned about her reaction.

Anthony:
“I’m going to Amber’s place today. I’ll be staying over there tonight.”

D’Nisha immediately looks surprised. She wasn’t expecting him to say something like that so casually.

D’Nisha:
“Wait, what? You’re going to Amber’s house, and you’re staying there for the night?”
Anthony:
“Yeah. That’s exactly what I said. I have some things to take care of with Amber, so I’ll be spending the night there.”
D’Nisha:
“But why do you need to stay there the entire night? Can’t you just go, handle whatever you have to do, and come back home?”
Anthony:
“It’s not that simple. We have things scheduled, and I need to be there. I’ll explain everything, but I don’t want to turn this into a big argument.”

D’Nisha shakes her head, clearly unhappy with his answer.

SCENE 2 – D’NISHA QUESTIONS ANTHONY ABOUT AMBER

D’Nisha takes a step closer, trying to understand why Anthony needs to spend so much time with Amber.

D’Nisha:
“Okay, but what exactly are you going to do at Amber’s place? Why are you making such a big deal about staying there?”
Anthony:
“We have a podcast, and there’s also a meeting that we need to attend. We have to discuss a few things, and it makes more sense for me to stay there instead of going back and forth.”
D’Nisha:
“A podcast? A meeting? So now you’re telling me that you’re going to Amber’s house for all of that?”
Anthony:
“Yes, D’Nisha. That’s what I’m telling you. We have plans, and I already know what I need to do.”
D’Nisha:
“I’m not saying you can’t have meetings or work on a podcast. I’m asking why you need to spend the entire night there. You could have told me about this earlier.”
Anthony:
“I don’t understand why you’re making this so complicated. It’s a podcast and a meeting. We’re going to take care of business.”
D’Nisha:
“And you expect me to believe that there’s nothing else going on?”
Anthony:
“You’re already making assumptions, and I haven’t even finished explaining myself.”

SCENE 3 – D’NISHA WANTS TO COME ALONG

For a few seconds, neither of them says anything. D’Nisha takes a deep breath and decides that if Anthony is so determined to go, perhaps she should simply accompany him.

D’Nisha:
“Fine. If it’s just a podcast and a meeting, then I’ll come with you.”

Anthony immediately looks up. His expression changes, and he doesn’t seem particularly happy with her suggestion.

Anthony:
“No. You’re not coming with me.”
D’Nisha:
“Excuse me? Why can’t I come? If there’s nothing wrong with your plans, then what is the problem with me going along?”
Anthony:
“Because I have things to do there, and I don’t need you coming with me. This is something between me and Amber. I’ll handle it.”
D’Nisha:
“So you’re telling me that you’re going to spend the night at Amber’s house, but I can’t even come with you?”
Anthony:
“That’s exactly what I’m telling you. I’m not taking you along.”
D’Nisha:
“Anthony, listen to yourself. You’re making plans to stay at another woman’s house overnight, and when I ask to come with you, you’re refusing.”
Anthony:
“D’Nisha, please don’t start this again. I already told you what we’re doing.”

SCENE 4 – ANTHONY DRAWS A LINE

The conversation becomes more uncomfortable. D’Nisha moves closer, hoping Anthony will reconsider his decision.

D’Nisha:
“At least explain why you don’t want me there. I wouldn’t have a problem coming along if everything is exactly as you’re saying.”
Anthony:
“You’re not understanding me. I don’t want you following me there. I’m going by myself, and that’s final.”
D’Nisha:
“Following you? I’m not following you! I’m your partner, and I’m simply asking to come with you.”
Anthony:
“Whatever you want to call it, I’m still not taking you. I have my own plans, and I don’t want this becoming another argument.”
D’Nisha:
“You know what? Sometimes you make me feel like I’m the last person you want around. You can make all these arrangements with Amber, but when it comes to me, suddenly there’s a problem.”
Anthony:
“That’s not what I’m saying. Don’t change my words into something else.”
D’Nisha:
“Then explain it properly!”

Anthony pauses. For a moment, he seems to realize that his tone has made the situation worse. However, he still refuses to change his decision.

SCENE 5 – D’NISHA GETS UPSET

D’Nisha turns away, visibly upset. She walks a few steps across the room and takes a moment to collect herself.

Anthony watches her, but instead of immediately comforting her, he checks his phone again. That small action makes D’Nisha even more irritated.

D’Nisha:
“Wow. You’re actually checking your phone while I’m standing here trying to talk to you?”
Anthony:
“What do you want me to do? We’ve already discussed this.”
D’Nisha:
“No, we haven’t. You’ve told me what you’re doing, but you haven’t considered how I feel about it.”
Anthony:
“D’Nisha, I don’t want to fight with you. I have a podcast and a meeting to attend. That’s all I’m trying to explain.”
D’Nisha:
“And I’m trying to explain that the way you’re handling this is upsetting me.”
Anthony:
“I understand that you’re upset, but I can’t change every plan just because you don’t like it.”
D’Nisha:
“I never asked you to change everything. I just wanted you to understand why this doesn’t feel right to me.”

SCENE 6 – ANTHONY REFUSES TO CHANGE HIS MIND

Anthony takes a breath and moves toward the door. D’Nisha immediately turns back toward him.

D’Nisha:
“So that’s it? You’re just going to leave after having this conversation with me?”
Anthony:
“What else do you want me to say? I told you where I’m going, why I’m going, and what we’re doing. I don’t know what more you expect from me.”
D’Nisha:
“I expected you to at least ask me how I feel.”
Anthony:
“You’re making this much bigger than it needs to be.”
D’Nisha:
“Maybe because you’re not taking me seriously.”

A brief silence follows. Anthony looks down at his phone once more. D’Nisha watches him, waiting for him to say something that might make her feel better.

Anthony:
“Look, I’m leaving. I’ll talk to you later.”

D’Nisha takes a deep breath and looks away.

SCENE 7 – D’NISHA FINALLY GIVES IN

After several minutes of going back and forth, D’Nisha realizes that Anthony isn’t going to change his plans.

D’Nisha:
“Fine, Anthony. Go ahead. If you’ve already made up your mind, then there’s no point in me repeating myself.”
Anthony:
“See? That’s all I wanted. I don’t want us arguing over something so simple.”
D’Nisha:
“Simple for you, maybe. Not for me.”
Anthony:
“I’ll see you later. Don’t sit there getting upset over this.”
D’Nisha:
“You really think it’s that easy? You say something, I get upset, and then you expect everything to be fine?”
Anthony:
“We’ll talk later, okay?”
D’Nisha:
“Whatever, Anthony. Just go.”

Anthony turns toward the door, but the tension between them remains.

SCENE 8 – ANTHONY GETS HYPER OVER D’NISHA

Just when it seems like the conversation is finally over, Anthony suddenly becomes worked up again.

Anthony:
“Wait a minute. Why are you acting like this? Every time I tell you something, you get upset, and then you start looking at me like I’ve done something terrible.”
D’Nisha:
“Anthony, what are you talking about now? I already said you could go.”
Anthony:
“Yeah, but look at your face! You’re still upset. You say it’s fine, but clearly it’s not.”
D’Nisha:
“Because I’m not happy about the situation! Do you want me to pretend that I am?”
Anthony:
“I’m trying to tell you that there’s nothing to argue about. Amber and I have things to work on. There’s a podcast, there’s a meeting, and I have responsibilities. Why can’t you just understand that?”
D’Nisha:
“I understand the podcast, Anthony! I understand the meeting! What I don’t understand is why you’re so determined to make sure I don’t come with you.”
Anthony:
“Because I said I’m going alone! Why does that have to become such a big discussion?”
D’Nisha:
“You’re the one who keeps bringing it up now!”

Anthony stops for a second. He realizes that his own reaction is making the situation even more confusing.

SCENE 9 – THE ARGUMENT TAKES ANOTHER TURN

D’Nisha moves toward the sofa and sits down. She looks tired of the entire conversation. Anthony, however, is still full of energy and clearly wants to have the final word.

Anthony:
“Listen, I don’t want you thinking that I’m doing something behind your back. I’m telling you everything directly. I’m not hiding where I’m going.”
D’Nisha:
“Then why are you getting so defensive?”
Anthony:
“Because you keep questioning everything I say!”
D’Nisha:
“Maybe because you don’t give me a reason to feel comfortable about this situation.”
Anthony:
“So what am I supposed to do? Cancel my plans? Forget about the podcast? Tell Amber I can’t attend the meeting?”
D’Nisha:
“I never told you to cancel anything. You’re putting words in my mouth.”

Anthony pauses and looks at her. For a brief moment, the room becomes quiet again.

SCENE 10 – ANTHONY PREPARES TO LEAVE

After everything that has been said, Anthony finally picks up his belongings. He looks toward D’Nisha one last time.

Anthony:
“I’m going now. I’ll call you when I get there.”

D’Nisha doesn’t immediately answer. She remains seated, looking away from him.

Anthony:
“D’Nisha?”
D’Nisha:
“What?”
Anthony:
“I said I’ll call you when I get there.”
D’Nisha:
“Okay. Do whatever you have to do.”
Anthony:
“I don’t want you sitting here thinking the worst. It’s just a night of work and meetings.”
D’Nisha:
“Then let your actions show me that. I don’t need another explanation.”

Anthony doesn’t have an immediate answer. He looks at her for a moment before finally heading toward the door.

SCENE 11 – D’NISHA IS LEFT WITH QUESTIONS

Once Anthony is gone, D’Nisha sits quietly. She thinks about everything he told her.

She understands that people can have professional commitments, meetings, and projects with friends. She also knows that communication matters in a relationship.

What bothers her most isn’t simply that Anthony is going to Amber’s house. It’s the way he dismissed her questions and refused to co
