DISCOVERY
Sharra scrolls her phone. Her eyes widen, anger and disbelief mixing.
SHARRA: Bethany… she actually said it?
Her fingers tremble as she grabs her jacket and keys, storming out.
ARRIVAL AT BETHANY’S
Sharra marches to Bethany’s door, knocking sharply. Her anger is palpable.
SHARRA: Don’t lie, Bethany. I know what you said to Brooke.
CONFRONTATION
Bethany opens the door, defensive, trying to mask guilt.
BETHANY: I don’t know what you’re talking about.
SHARRA: Don’t lie! You called her a hoe… in front of Larry!
Bethany’s jaw tightens, shuffling slightly.
BETHANY: That’s… that’s not how it happened.
SHARRA: Not thinking? She felt humiliated, and you stood there like nothing happened!
FLASHBACK
Brooke on her bed, phone trembling. She calls Sharra, trying to hold back tears.
BROOKE: Sharra… she called me a hoe… right in front of Larry.
SHARRA (V.O.): What?! Are you serious?
BROOKE: I’m not lying! She looked me in the eye and said it!
ACCOUNTABILITY
Bethany shrinks slightly, guilt creeping in.
BETHANY: I… I wasn’t thinking.
SHARRA: You better start making things right before it gets worse.
Sharra turns to leave, glancing back to make her point.
REFLECTION
Brooke sits by her window, phone beside her. A small smile appears as Sharra’s message arrives: “I handled it. She knows now.”
BROOKE: Finally… someone stood up for me.
Larry paces in his living room, replaying the moment, guilt washing over him.
LARRY: I should have stopped it…
An insult spoken carelessly… but the reckoning has only just begun.
