Amber arrives at Dave’s house looking frustrated and emotionally drained. Dave immediately notices that something is wrong.

Dave puts his phone down and looks at Amber carefully.

DAVE

What happened, Amber?

Amber takes a deep breath before telling Dave what Anthony said.

AMBER

I just came from talking to Anthony. He said he’s only willing to give me ten percent.

Dave’s expression suddenly changes. He sits up, clearly shocked by what he has heard.

Dave slowly stands up from the couch. His frustration is obvious.

DAVE

Ten percent? After everything that’s happened?

Amber looks down, unsure what to say.

AMBER

I don’t know what he’s thinking anymore.

Dave grabs his keys from the table.

DAVE

Come on. We’re going to Anthony. I’ll talk to him myself.

Amber hesitates for a moment before following Dave outside.

Dave and Amber arrive at Anthony’s house. Dave walks toward the door with determination.

Anthony opens the door and immediately looks surprised.

ANTHONY

What are you two doing here?

DAVE

We need to talk about the ten percent you offered Amber.

Anthony’s expression becomes serious.

ANTHONY

That’s between me and Amber.

Dave refuses to back down.

DAVE

Then explain why you think ten percent is fair.

Anthony steps closer, his patience beginning to disappear.

ANTHONY

This is a personal matter between me and Amber. Don’t get involved between the two of us.

Dave becomes visibly angry.

DAVE

I’m not coming between anybody. I’m standing here because Amber asked for help.

Amber tries to calm both men down.

AMBER

Guys, please. I came here because I wanted both of you to talk calmly.

But neither man seems willing to step back.

The argument becomes more intense. Dave and Anthony stand face-to-face, refusing to back down.

ANTHONY

You don’t know anything about our situation.

DAVE

I know enough to know that Amber deserves answers.

Anthony points toward Dave.

ANTHONY

Get off my property.

Dave looks directly at him.

DAVE

Make me.

Amber realizes that the situation is quickly getting out of control.

Anthony steps forward and the confrontation suddenly becomes physical. Dave reacts, and the two men struggle with each other.

Amber immediately steps back and calls out for them to stop.

AMBER

Stop! Both of you!

The heated confrontation continues for a moment before both men finally separate.

DAVE

This is exactly what I was trying to avoid!

ANTHONY

You came to my house looking for an argument!

The tension remains heavy as both men glare at each other.

Amber finally steps forward and looks at both men with disappointment.

AMBER

Look at what you two just did.

Dave lowers his eyes. Anthony remains silent.

AMBER

I came here because I wanted answers. I don’t want anybody fighting over me.

Dave takes a deep breath.

DAVE

I wasn’t trying to hurt anybody.

Amber looks toward Anthony.

AMBER

Then talk to me. Don’t fight Dave. Don’t fight anybody. Just give me the answers I deserve.

Anthony remains quiet as Amber turns away.

Dave and Amber slowly walk toward the car. Anthony watches them leave, knowing that the dispute over the ten percent is far from finished.
