Isaiah Comes to Brooke’s House to Apologize
🚗 Isaiah Makes His Decision
Isaiah had been restless all evening. The moment he found out that Larry had gone to the hospital with Bethany, he immediately started thinking about Brooke.
He knew Brooke was home alone, and for the first time in a long time, he realized that avoiding the situation wasn’t going to make anything better.
He grabbed his keys and headed straight to Brooke’s house. 🚗💨
As he approached the front door, Isaiah took a deep breath.
Isaiah: “I need to fix this. I can’t keep running away from what I did.”
He knocked.
A few seconds later, Brooke opened the door. The moment she saw Isaiah standing there, her expression changed. 😠
Brooke: “What are you doing here?”
Isaiah: “Brooke, please. Just let me explain.”
Brooke: “Explain what? You’ve already said enough.”
Isaiah stepped back, realizing how angry she was.
Isaiah: “I know you’re upset, and you have every right to be. I came here because I need to apologize.”
Brooke: “An apology doesn’t erase everything, Isaiah.”
Isaiah: “I know.”
His voice became quieter.
Isaiah: “I made choices that hurt you. I broke your trust, and I should’ve listened when you told me how you felt.”
Brooke stared at him, clearly struggling to control her emotions.
Brooke: “That’s the problem! You knew exactly what you were doing.”
Isaiah: “You’re right.”
That answer seemed to make Brooke even more frustrated. She stepped closer and grabbed the front of his shirt. 😡
Brooke: “You told me you cared about me. You told me I mattered to you. But then you made choices that made me feel like none of that was true.”
Isaiah gently raised his hands, trying to calm the situation.
Isaiah: “Brooke, I’m not here to argue with you. I’m here to take responsibility.”
Brooke finally released his shirt but remained furious.
Brooke: “You don’t get to come here and expect everything to go back to normal.”
Isaiah: “I’m not asking for that.”
Isaiah: “I just want you to know that I’m sorry.”
💔 The Truth Comes Out
Brooke looked away. For a few seconds, neither of them said anything. The silence inside the house felt heavier than any argument.
Brooke: “You know what hurts the most?”
Brooke: “I trusted you.”
Her voice softened, but the disappointment was obvious.
Brooke: “I thought you understood me. I thought you respected my boundaries. But instead, you made decisions without thinking about how they would affect me.”
Isaiah: “I understand that now.”
Brooke: “Now?”
She gave a frustrated laugh.
Brooke: “Why does it always take losing someone for you to understand what you had?”
Isaiah didn’t have an answer. He looked toward the floor.
Isaiah: “I don’t know.”
Isaiah: “But I know I don’t want to keep making the same mistakes.”
Brooke: “And what exactly do you expect me to do with that?”
Isaiah: “Nothing.”
He took a step back.
Isaiah: “You don’t owe me forgiveness. You don’t owe me another chance. If you need space, I’ll give you space.”
That response caught Brooke off guard. She had expected Isaiah to defend himself, make excuses, or blame someone else.
Instead, he simply stood there and accepted responsibility.
😔 One Last Apology
Brooke: “So why did you really come here?”
Isaiah took a deep breath.
Isaiah: “Because when I heard you were here alone, I realized I couldn’t keep pretending everything was fine. I needed to tell you face-to-face that I’m sorry.”
Brooke remained silent.
Isaiah: “I should have treated you with more respect. I should have listened to you. And I should have thought about the consequences of my choices.”
Brooke wiped away a tear before Isaiah could notice. 💔
Brooke: “I’m still angry.”
Isaiah: “I know.”
Brooke: “And I don’t trust you right now.”
Isaiah: “I understand.”
Brooke looked at him for a long moment.
“If you really mean what you’re saying, then don’t just apologize. Change.”
Isaiah took those words seriously.
Isaiah: “I will.”
Brooke stepped toward the doorway.
Brooke: “You should go.”
Isaiah hesitated, then nodded.
Isaiah: “Okay.”
He walked toward the door, but before leaving, he turned around one last time.
“Brooke… I’m truly sorry.”
Brooke didn’t answer immediately.
Brooke: “I heard you.”
Isaiah walked away, leaving Brooke standing in the doorway.
She closed the door and leaned against it, overwhelmed by everything that had happened. 😔
She knew an apology couldn’t instantly repair broken trust.
But for the first time, Isaiah had finally stopped making excuses.
And now, the choice of whether he deserved another chance belonged entirely to Brooke. 💔
