Brooke’s Heartbreak — Hope and Faith Reveal the Truth
A Story of Betrayal & Strength

Brooke’s Heartbreak

Hope and Faith reveal Mariah’s pregnancy, expose Isaiah’s betrayal, and push Brooke to her emotional breaking point.

1. A Quiet Afternoon at Brooke’s House

The afternoon was quiet at Brooke’s house, but beneath that silence, Brooke was struggling with emotions she could barely understand. She had been trying to move forward with her life, hoping that the problems surrounding her relationship with Isaiah would eventually disappear. Despite the doubts, arguments, and painful misunderstandings, a part of her still wanted to believe that Isaiah had been honest with her.

Brooke had invested her heart in the relationship. She had defended Isaiah when others questioned his intentions, and she had tried to convince herself that their love was strong enough to overcome every obstacle. She knew their relationship was far from perfect, but she had never imagined that the person she trusted most could betray her in such a devastating way.

“Brooke, you don’t have to pretend that everything is fine,” Destiny said gently. “I know something is bothering you. You can talk to me about anything.”

Brooke forced a small smile. “I’m tired of all the drama. Every time I think things are finally getting better, something else happens. I want peace. I want to trust someone without constantly wondering whether they’re telling me the truth.”

Destiny moved closer. “You deserve honesty, respect, and someone who doesn’t make you question your worth.”

Brooke lowered her eyes. “Sometimes I wonder if I’m asking for too much. All I ever wanted was a relationship where I didn’t have to compete with other people for someone’s attention.”

A knock interrupted their conversation. Neither woman knew that the visitors standing outside were about to turn Brooke’s world upside down.

2. Hope and Faith Arrive With Devastating News

When Brooke opened the door, she found Hope and Faith standing on the porch. Both women wore serious expressions. They exchanged a quick glance before looking directly at Brooke.

“Hey, Brooke,” Hope said. “Can we come inside? We have something to tell you.”

Brooke let them in. Destiny watched as the twins exchanged another glance.

“What’s going on?” Destiny asked. “You both look like you’ve come here to deliver bad news.”

Hope took a breath. “Brooke, there’s something you need to know, and we think it’s time someone finally told you the truth.”

Brooke’s expression tightened. “Then please tell me what’s happening. You’re making me nervous.”

Faith looked directly at her. “Mariah is pregnant, Brooke.”

For a moment, the entire room seemed to fall silent. Brooke stared at Faith, unable to process the words she had just heard.

“What did you just say?” Brooke whispered.

Hope answered without hesitation. “Mariah is pregnant. And the father is Isaiah.”

Brooke’s face went pale. “No. That can’t be true.”

Faith shook her head. “I’m sorry, but it is. Isaiah got Mariah pregnant, and while all of this was happening, he was still dealing with you as if nothing was wrong.”

Brooke slowly stepped backward. “You’re lying. Both of you are lying. Isaiah would never do that to me.”

Hope raised her eyebrows. “Why are you so determined to defend him? What makes you think he could never betray you?”

“Because I know him!” Brooke replied, her voice trembling. “I know what we’ve been through. I know what he told me. He promised me that he was serious about our relationship.”

Faith let out a bitter laugh. “Apparently, his promises didn’t mean very much.”

Brooke shook her head. “Please stop. I don’t want to hear this.”

Hope continued, “You need to understand what happened, Brooke. Mariah is pregnant with his child. How much more evidence do you need before you accept that he cheated on you?”

Brooke’s eyes filled with tears. She wanted to ask a hundred questions, but the words became trapped in her throat.

3. Hope and Faith Mock Brooke’s Heartbreak

Destiny stepped forward. “That’s enough. If you came here to tell Brooke the truth, you’ve told her. You don’t need to keep pushing her while she’s trying to understand what you’re saying.”

Hope turned toward Destiny. “We’re not the ones who caused this situation. Isaiah did.”

“Then hold Isaiah responsible for his actions,” Destiny replied. “Don’t stand here and act like Brooke deserves to be humiliated.”

Faith looked at Brooke, who was wiping tears from her cheeks. “Maybe if you had paid attention to the warning signs, you wouldn’t be so surprised.”

Brooke looked up at her. “What warning signs? I trusted someone I loved. Is that a crime?”

Neither woman answered immediately. Then Hope began laughing, and Faith joined her.

“Honestly, Brooke, I never thought you would be this easy to fool,” Hope said. “You really believed Isaiah was going to choose you?”

Brooke stared at her in disbelief. “What is wrong with you? I’m standing here trying to understand that the man I love may have betrayed me, and you’re laughing at me.”

Faith shrugged. “You kept defending Isaiah, even when people questioned him. Now look at what happened.”

Hope crossed her arms. “You thought you were special to him, but Mariah is pregnant with his baby. Maybe you should finally admit that you lost.”

“Lost?” Brooke repeated quietly. “You think this is some kind of competition?”

Faith laughed again. “Well, it certainly looks like you didn’t win.”

Destiny’s expression hardened. “Both of you need to stop right now.”

Hope ignored her. “Brooke, you need to accept reality. Isaiah cheated on you, Mariah is pregnant, and you’re still standing here acting as if your relationship can be saved. You’re embarrassing yourself.”

Brooke covered her mouth as tears streamed down her face. She had expected difficult questions, but she had not expected two people to stand in her living room and laugh at her suffering.

“Please,” Brooke whispered. “I can’t do this right now.”

Faith shook her head. “You’re always asking people to leave you alone whenever you hear something you don’t like.”

Brooke looked at her through tear-filled eyes. “This isn’t about hearing something I don’t like. This is about hearing that my entire relationship may have been built on lies.”

4. Destiny Tries to Defend Her Friend

Destiny finally lost patience with their behavior. “Get out of her face! Can’t you see she’s crying?”

Hope turned toward Destiny. “Why are you getting so upset? This has nothing to do with you.”

“It has everything to do with me when you come into my friend’s home and humiliate her,” Destiny replied. “You could have told her what happened without laughing at her.”

Faith rolled her eyes. “We’re just telling the truth.”

“No,” Destiny said firmly. “You’re using the truth to hurt someone who is already hurting.”

When Hope laughed once more, Destiny’s anger surged. She moved toward Hope as if she were about to strike her. Faith immediately stepped between them, startled by how quickly the situation had escalated.

“Destiny, don’t!” Faith exclaimed.

Hope backed away slightly, but continued speaking. “See? This is exactly what I mean. You people can’t handle the truth.”

Destiny tried to move around Faith, determined to confront Hope. “You want to keep laughing? Keep talking about Brooke like she’s nothing? You can’t walk into someone’s home and treat them however you want!”

Brooke rose from the sofa and hurried toward her friend. Despite her own heartbreak, she recognized that the situation was about to become much worse.

“Destiny, please! Stop!” Brooke cried, grabbing her arm.

Destiny tried to turn back toward Hope. “Brooke, let me go. They don’t get to treat you like this!”

Brooke held on to her. “I said stop! Please, Destiny!”

Destiny finally noticed the tears covering Brooke’s face. Her expression softened, though her anger had not entirely disappeared.

“Brooke, look at what they’re doing to you. They’re standing here laughing while you’re crying. I can’t just watch them do this.”

Brooke tightened her grip on Destiny’s arm. “I know you’re trying to defend me, and I love you for that. But I don’t want this. I don’t want anyone fighting in my house because of me.”

Destiny looked at Hope and Faith one more time. “They should be ashamed of themselves.”

5. Brooke Finally Speaks Up

Hope scoffed. “We’re not the ones who cheated.”

Destiny immediately started to turn toward her again, but Brooke stepped directly in front of her.

“Enough!” Brooke cried.

Her voice was so full of pain that everyone finally fell silent. Brooke stood between Destiny and the twins, struggling to hold herself together. Her face was wet with tears, and her hands trembled as she tried to speak.

She looked at Hope. “Why would you come into my house and do this to me?”

Hope became defensive. “We thought you deserved to know the truth.”

“Then why are you laughing? Why are you calling me a loser? Why are you acting like the worst moment of my life is something you should celebrate?”

Faith looked away briefly. “We’re just trying to make you move on.”

Brooke shook her head. “You don’t get to decide how quickly I move on. You don’t know what Isaiah meant to me. You don’t know the conversations we had, the promises he made, or how much I trusted him.”

Hope replied, “And yet he got Mariah pregnant.”

Brooke closed her eyes as fresh tears rolled down her cheeks. “Do you think I don’t understand what you’re saying? Every word has gone through my head a hundred times already. I keep asking myself how this happened. I keep wondering what was real and what was a lie.”

Destiny placed a comforting hand on Brooke’s shoulder. “You don’t have to explain yourself to them.”

But Brooke needed to speak. “I trusted Isaiah. I believed him when he told me that I mattered to him. If he betrayed me, then he is responsible for that betrayal. It doesn’t mean I deserve to be laughed at.”

Faith tried to interrupt. “Brooke, listen—”

“No!” Brooke shouted. “You have said enough. You came here, delivered your news, and made sure I understood how little respect you have for my feelings. What more do you want from me?”

For the first time since they arrived, Brooke was no longer trying to defend Isaiah. She was defending herself.

6. “Get Out of My House!”

Brooke looked at Hope and Faith with a mixture of sadness and anger. She had hoped they would understand that she was already struggling to process the news. Instead, their behavior had made an unbearable situation even more painful.

She pointed toward the front door. “Get out of my house.”

Hope stared at her. “Excuse me?”

“You heard me,” Brooke replied. “Get out.”

Faith shook her head. “You’re seriously throwing us out because we told you the truth?”

Brooke answered, “No. I’m asking you to leave because of how you treated me after telling me the truth. There is a difference.”

Hope stepped closer. “So now we’re the bad people?”

Brooke’s eyes filled with tears again. “I don’t have the energy to argue with you anymore. I don’t want to hear another insult. I don’t want to hear you laugh. I don’t want to explain why this hurts me. You should already understand that.”

Faith glanced at Destiny. “Are you really going to let Destiny turn this into a bigger problem?”

Brooke shook her head. “Don’t bring Destiny into this. She tried to stop herself because I asked her to. She was angry because she watched you humiliate me. But I don’t want any more arguments, and I don’t want anyone getting hurt.”

Hope looked offended. “Fine. But don’t come looking for us when you finally realize we were right.”

Brooke replied, “I don’t know what I’ll need tomorrow. But right now, I need you to leave me alone.”

Faith picked up her belongings and headed toward the door. Hope followed, still shaking her head in frustration. At the entrance, Hope turned around.

“Remember what we told you, Brooke. Mariah is pregnant, and Isaiah is the father. You can’t ignore that forever.”

Brooke’s lips trembled, but she refused to respond. Destiny opened the door and waited until both women stepped outside.

“Goodbye,” Destiny said coldly.

The twins left, and the door closed behind them. For several seconds, nobody moved. The silence they left behind felt heavier than the argument itself.

7. Brooke Finally Lets Her Emotions Out

The moment the door closed, Brooke’s strength disappeared. She covered her face and began crying again, no longer trying to hide her emotions. Destiny immediately wrapped her arms around her and held her close.

“It’s okay, Brooke,” Destiny whispered. “You don’t have to be strong every second. Let it out.”

Brooke shook her head against Destiny’s shoulder. “Why would he do this to me? Why would Isaiah tell me that he cared about me if he was going to have a child with Mariah?”

Destiny held her tighter. “I don’t have those answers. And I won’t pretend that I do. But whatever Isaiah has done, it doesn’t determine your worth.”

Brooke pulled away slightly, wiping her cheeks. “I feel so stupid. I defended him so many times. Whenever someone questioned him, I told them they didn’t understand our relationship. I thought I knew him.”

“Trusting someone doesn’t make you stupid,” Destiny replied. “You made decisions based on what you believed at the time. If he lied to you, that was his choice.”

Brooke looked toward the closed door. “And now Hope and Faith think I’m a loser.”

“Who cares what they think?” Destiny asked gently. “Their opinion doesn’t define you. You’re dealing with something painful, and you deserve time to process it without anyone making you feel ashamed.”

Brooke sat down slowly. “What am I supposed to do now? Should I call Isaiah? Should I ask him about Mariah? What if he denies everything?”

Destiny sat beside her. “You don’t have to make every decision today. First, take a breath. When you’re ready, decide what questions you need answered and what boundaries you want to set.”

Brooke stared at her hands. “I want the truth. Even if it hurts, I want to hear it from Isaiah himself. I don’t want to spend the rest of my life wondering whether I was the only person who didn’t know what was happening.”

Destiny nodded. “Then ask for the truth when you’re ready. But don’t let him pressure you into accepting an explanation that doesn’t make sense to you.”

Brooke wiped away another tear. “I thought we were building something together. I imagined a future with him. Now I don’t even know whether the future I imagined ever existed.”

Destiny gently held her hand. “Whatever happens with Isaiah, you still have a future, Brooke. This moment is painful, but it doesn’t erase everything else that makes you who you are.”

8. An Uncertain Future With Isaiah

As the evening approached, Brooke remained on the sofa while Destiny brought her a glass of water.

“Drink a little,” Destiny encouraged. “You haven’t had anything since they arrived.”

Brooke accepted the glass but barely touched it. “I keep thinking about Mariah. She’s pregnant, Destiny. If Isaiah is the father, that means this situation is much bigger than I ever imagined.”

Destiny nodded thoughtfully. “Yes, and that’s why you need answers before deciding what comes next.”

“What if he tells me he still loves me?”

“Then you’ll have to decide whether his words match his actions,” Destiny replied. “Love isn’t just something people say when they’re afraid of losing someone. It
