SCENE 1 — JADE’S JOURNEY TO ATLANTA
The evening was getting darker as Jade drove along the highway toward Atlanta. Heavy clouds covered the sky, and the roads were becoming increasingly slippery.
“Atlanta, here I come. I just hope everything goes the way I planned.”
Rain began hitting the windshield. Jade tried to remain calm and focused on the road. Suddenly, another vehicle appeared dangerously close. Before she could react, a terrible collision occurred.
A loud crash shattered the silence. Her car swerved off the highway, and everything turned into chaos.
SCENE 2 — THE DEVASTATING PHONE CALL
Back home, Purnell and Larry were going about their evening. Neither man expected anything unusual until Larry’s phone suddenly rang.
“Hello? What’s going on?”
The person on the other end delivered heartbreaking news. Larry’s expression changed instantly. His eyes widened, and his hands began trembling.

“Larry, what’s happening? Why do you look so worried?”
“It’s Jade. She’s been in a terrible accident.”
Purnell immediately grabbed his things. Both men rushed toward the accident location, hoping they would receive better news.

The drive felt endless. Larry kept checking his phone, hoping someone would call with good news. Purnell sat beside him, visibly shaken.
“Please, Jade. Please be okay. We can’t lose you.”
“I don’t understand how something like this could happen. She was just going to Atlanta.”
They remembered their happy moments with Jade. Every passing minute made their fear stronger. Neither man was prepared for what they were about to see.

When they finally arrived, flashing emergency lights illuminated the wet highway. A damaged vehicle stood nearby, surrounded by broken glass and debris.
Larry stepped out and desperately searched the area. Then he saw Jade lying motionless on the road. Her face was uncovered, and she was completely still.
“No! Jade! Please!”
Purnell dropped to his knees, holding his head in disbelief. Larry covered his mouth with both hands as tears began rolling down his face.

Larry began hitting the top of his own head with his hands in grief. Purnell continued crying beside him. Their voices echoed across the rainy highway.
They embraced each other, trying to find comfort, but nothing could take away their pain.

As the rain continued falling, Purnell remembered all the happy days they had shared. He wished he could return to those moments and enjoy just one more conversation.
“Remember how we used to laugh about the smallest things? I never thought those memories would become so painful.”
“Those moments meant more than we realized.”
Purnell wiped his tears and looked toward Jade. Larry placed a hand on his shoulder. Both men knew that nothing would ever feel the same again.

Just when Larry and Purnell thought the night could not become any more painful, Larry’s phone began ringing again.
He looked at the screen. It was an unfamiliar number. Purnell asked him to answer because the call might be important.
“Hello?”
A serious voice responded. Larry listened carefully, and his expression suddenly changed. He looked at Purnell with confusion and fear.

“Larry, what is it now? Who’s calling?”
Larry continued listening. The caller was telling him something unexpected about Jade’s accident.

He opened it and saw a photograph attached to the message. His face turned pale. He could barely believe what he was looking at.
“Larry, what does the message say?”
Larry stared at the screen without saying a word. Slowly, he turned the phone toward Purnell.
Purnell looked at the photograph, and his expression changed instantly. Whatever was inside that picture was something neither man had expected.
